This manual is applicable for the following products:
DS-67XX series encoder.
Safety Instruction:
You must carefully read this manual before use and installation of the product and keep this manual
properly.
Warnings:
●Proper configuration of all passwords and other security settings is the responsibility of the
installer and/or end-user.
●In the use of the product, you must be in strict compliance with the electrical safety regulations of
the nation and region. Please refer to technical specifications for detailed information.
●Input voltage should meet both the SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) and the Limited Power Source
with 100 to 240 VAC or 12 VDC according to the IEC60950-1 standard. Please refer to technical
specifications for detailed information.
●Do not connect several devices to one power adapter as adapter overload may cause
over-heating or a fire hazard.
●Please make sure that the plug is firmly connected to the power socket.
●If smoke, odor or noise rise from the device, turn off the power at once and unplug the power
cable, and then please contact the service center.
Cautions
●Ensure unit is installed in a well-ventilated, dust-free environment.
●Unit is designed for indoor use only.
●Keep all liquids away from the device.
●Ensure environmental conditions meet factory specifications.
●Ensure unit is properly secured to a rack or shelf. Major shocks or jolts to the unit as a result of
dropping it may cause damage to the sensitive electronics within the unit.
●Use the device in conjunction with an UPS if possible.
●Power down the unit before connecting and disconnecting accessories and peripherals.
●A factory recommended HDD should be used for this device.
●Improper use or replacement of the battery may result in hazard of explosion. Replace with the
same or equivalent type only. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions provided by
the battery manufacturer.

This document introduces the procedure of using the encoder.
Step 1. Install the manufacturer recommended HDD for the -SATA models.
Step 2. Connect peripheral devices to the encoder.
Step 3. Power on the device.
Step 4. For the first time to use the encoder, activate it and set the network parameters via SADP, a
software tool which can automatically detect the encoder in the LAN.
Step 5. Input the IP address into the address bar of the web browser, and click Enter.
Step 6. Log in to the encoder. Input the admin password.

Step 7. You can perform the operation and configuration of the device, including the live view,
record schedule, playback, backup, etc.
Note: For the detailed operation of encoder, refer to the user manual which can be downloaded
from www.hikvision.com according to the specific model.

●Sollte das Gerät Rauch, Geruch oder Geräusche abgeben, unterbrechen Sie sofort die
Stromversorgung und wenden sich an den Kundendienst.
Vorsicht
●Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät in einer gut belüfteten, staubfreien Umgebung installiert ist.
●Das Gerät ist nur für den Betrieb im Innenbereich vorgesehen.
●Halten Sie das Gerät von Flüssigkeiten aller Art fern.
●Achten Sie darauf, dass die herstellerseitig vorgegebenen Umgebungsbedingungen erfüllt
werden.
●Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät sicher in einem Gestell oder Regal fixiert ist. Die empfindliche
Elektronik im Gerät kann beschädigt werden, wenn das Gerät starken Erschütterungen oder
Stößen (z. B. durch Fallenlassen) ausgesetzt wird.

Dieses Dokument enthält Hinweise zur Benutzung des Encoders.
Step 1. Installieren Sie die vom Hersteller empfohlene HDD für die SATA-Modelle.
Step 2. Schließen Sie die Peripheriegeräte am Encoder an.
Step 3. Schaltet Sie das Gerät ein.
Step 4. Für die erstmalige Benutzung muss man Encoder aktivieren und die Netzwerkparameter
via SADP, einem Softwaretool, das den Encoder automatisch im LAN erkennt, konfigurieren.
Step 5. Dazu geben Sie die IP-Adresse in die Adresszeile des Webbrowsers ein und drücken die
Eingabetaste.
Step 6. Melden Sie sich beim Encoder an. Geben Sie das Administratorkennwort ein.

Step 7. Sie können Betriebs- und Gerätefunktionen wie Liveansicht, Aufnahmezeitplan,
Wiedergabe, Backup usw. konfigurieren.

Este documento presenta el procedimiento para usar el codificador.
Step 1. Instalar la unidad de disco duro (HDD) recomendada por el fabricante para los modelos SATA.
Step 2. Conectar los dispositivos periféricos al enrutador.
Step 3. Encender el dispositivo.
Step 4. La primera vez que use el codificador, actívelo y establezca los parámetros de red a través
de SADP, una herramienta de software que detecta automáticamente el decodificador en LAN.
Step 5. Introduzca la dirección IP en la barra de direcciones del navegador web y haga clic en Entrar.
Step 6. Iniciar sesión en el codificador. Introducir la contraseña de administrador.

Step 7. Puede realizar el funcionamiento y la configuración del dispositivo, incluyendo live view, programación
de grabaciones, reproducción, copia de seguridad, etc.

Ce document présente la procédure d’utilisation de l’encodeur.
Step 1. Installez le disque dur recommandé par le fabricant pour les modèles -SATA.
Step 2. Raccordez les périphériques à l’encodeur.
Step 3. Mettez l’appareil sous tension.
Step 4. Lors de la première utilisation de l’encodeur, activez-le et configurez les paramètres ré
seau via l’application SADP, un outil logiciel capable de détecter automatiquement l’encodeur sur un
réseau local (LAN).
Step 5. Saisissez l'adresse IP dans la barre d'adresse du navigateur, puis cliquez sur Entrée.
Step 6. Connectez-vous à l’encodeur. Saisissez le mot de passe administrateur.

Step 7. Vous pouvez procéder à la configuration et à l’exploitation de l’appareil, notamment
effectuer un affichage en direct, planifier et lire un enregistrement, ou encore effectuer une
sauvegarde.
Remarque : Pour obtenir des détails sur l’utilisation de l’encodeur, reportez-vous au manuel de
l’utilisateur qui peut être téléchargé sur www.hikvision.com où vous choisirez celui qui correspond à
votre modèle.

●Non collegare più dispositivi allo stesso alimentatore, per evitare di sovraccaricarlo e causare un
surriscaldamento o il rischio di incendio.
●Accertarsi che la spina sia saldamente collegata alla presa di alimentazione.
●Se il dispositivo emette fumo, odore o rumore anomalo, interrompere immediatamente
l'alimentazione e scollegare il cavo di alimentazione, poi contattare il centro assistenza.
Avvisi di cautela
●Verificare che l'unità sia installata in un ambiente ben ventilato e privo di polvere.
●L'unità è progettata esclusivamente per installazioni in ambienti interni.
●Tenere i liquidi lontano dal dispositivo.
●Accertarsi che le condizioni ambientali soddisfino le specifiche definite in fabbrica.
●Assicurare l'unità sia correttamente fissata a un rack o un ripiano. Urti o colpi a seguito di una
caduta possono causare danni all'elettronica sensibile all'interno dell'unità.
●Se possibile, utilizzare il dispositivo in combinazione con un UPS.
●Spegnere l'unità prima di collegare e scollegare accessori e periferiche.
●Per questo dispositivo è necessario utilizzare un HDD tra i modelli consigliati.
●La sostituzione o l'uso improprio della batteria possono esporre al pericolo di esplosione.
Sostituire solo con batterie identiche o equivalenti. Smaltire le batterie usate secondo le istruzioni
del produttore.

Il presente documento tratta la procedura di utilizzo dell’encoder.
Step 1. Installare HDD SATAselezionati tra i modelli di produttori consigliati.
Step 2. Collegare le periferiche all’encoder.
Step 3. Accendere il dispositivo.
Step 4. Quando si utilizza l’encoder per la prima volta, attivarlo e impostare i parametri di rete
con SADP, uno strumento software in grado di rilevare automaticamente l’encoder nella LAN.
Step 5. Digitare l'indirizzo IP nella barra Indirizzi del browser web e premere Invio.
Step 6. Accedere (login) all'encoder. Inserire la password dell’amministratore.
