1Introduction
1.1 Product Features
The c mer is pplic ble for both indoor nd outdoor conditions, nd the
pplic tion scen rios include ro ds, w rehouses, underground p rking lots,
b rs, etc.

2Installation
Before you start
•M ke sure th t the device in the p ck ge is in good condition nd ll the
ssembly p rts re included.
•M ke sure th t ll the rel ted equipment is powered off during the
inst ll tion.
•Check the specific tion of the products for the inst ll tion environment.
•Check whether the power supply is m tched with your power output to void
the d m ge.
•M ke sure the w ll is strong enough to withst nd three times the weight of
the c mer , nd the mount.
•If the w ll is cement, insert exp nsion bolts before inst lling the c mer . If the
w ll is wood, use self-t pping screws to secure the c mer .
• If the product does not function properly, cont ct your de ler or the ne rest
service center. Do NOT dis ssemble the c mer for rep ir or m inten nce
yourself. 
2.1 Installation of Camera
2.1.1 Ceiling/Wall Mounting without Junction Box
Steps:
1. P ste the drill templ te (supplied) to the spot you w nt to inst ll the c mer .

2. Drill the screw holes nd the c ble hole (option l) in the ceiling/w ll
ccording to the drill templ te.

Note:
Drill the c ble hole when using the ceiling outlet to route the c ble.

3. Att ch the br cket to the ceiling/w ll, nd secure the c mer with supplied
screws.
Note:
• The supplied screw p ck ge cont ins self-t pping screws nd
exp nsion bolts. 
• For cement w ll/ceiling, exp nsion bolts re required to fix the
c mer . For wooden w ll/ceiling, self-t pping screws re required. 
4. Route the c bles through the c ble hole or the side opening.
5. Connect the corresponding power cord nd video c ble.
6. Power on the c mer to check whether the im ge on the monitor is t n
optimum ngle. If not, djust the c mer ccording to the figure below to get
n optimum ngle.

1). Loosen the P screw to djust the p n position [0° to 360°]. Tighten the
screw fter completing the djustment.
2). Loosen the T screw to djust the tilt position [0° to 180°]. Tighten the
screw fter completing the djustment.
3). Loosen the R screw nd rot te the c mer [0° to 360°]. Tighten the screw
fter completing the djustment.

2.1.2 Ceiling/Wall Mounting with Junction Box
Before you start:
Purch se junction box sep r tely.
Steps:
1. P ste the drill templ te on the ceiling/w ll.

2. Drill screw holes nd the c ble hole in the ceiling/w ll ccording to the holes
of the drill templ te.
3. T ke p rt the junction box, nd lign the screw holes of the bullet c mer
with those on the Junction box cover.
4. Fix the c mer on the junction box’s cover with supplied screws.

5. Att ch the junction box body to the ceiling/w ll by ligning the screw holes of
the junction box.
6. Secure the junction box’s body with supplied screws on the ceiling/w ll.

7. Route the c bles through the bottom c ble hole or the side c ble hole of the
junction box.

9. Repe t step 5 nd 6 of Ceiling/Wall Mounting without Junction ox to
complete the inst ll tion.
3Menu Descri tion
Purpose:
C ll the menu by clicking the button on the PTZ Control interf ce, or c ll the
preset No. 95.
Steps:
1. Connect the c mer to the TVI DVR nd monitor, shown in figure 3-1.

2. Power on the n log c mer , TVI DVR, nd the monitor to view the im ge on
the monitor.
3. Click PTZ Control to enter the PTZ Control interf ce.
4. C ll the c mer menu by clicking the button, or c ll the preset No. 95.

5. Click the direction rrow to control the c mer .
1). Click U /Down direction button to select the item.
2). Click Iris+ to confirm the selection.
3). Click Left/Right direction button to djust the v lue of the selected item.
3.1 FORMAT
PAL (Phase Alternating Lines)
PAL is color encoding system for n log television used in bro dc st
television systems in most countries.
NTSC: (National Television System Committee)
NTSC is the n log television system th t is used in most of North Americ ,
p rts of South Americ , My nm r, South Kore , etc.

3.2 LANGUAGE
Supports English nd Chinese.
3.3 WHITE LIGHT
The embedded white light source c n function s visible l rm.
In the WHITE MODE, you c n set the mode s ALARM or OFF.
3.3.1 ALARM
In ALARM mode, you c n select the TRIGGER MODE s DVR or CAMERA.
DVR
Select the TRIGGER MODE s DVR. In this w y, the l rm sign l is sent from the
DVR, nd the c mer works s the l rm detector in the process. Besides, the
l rm type only supported by the DVR c n lso trigger the visible l rm in the
c mer .
CAMERA
Select the TRIGGER MODE s CAMERA, the embedded PIR module sends the
l rm sign l to the visible l rm in the c mer , when PIR module detects the
l rm source.
3.3.2 OFF
Select OFF to give up this function.
3.4 MAIN MENU
3.4.1 AE (AUTO EXPOSURE)
Auto Exposure describes the brightness-rel ted p r meters, which c n
be djusted by BRIGHTNESS, EXPOSURE MODE, AGC, nd SENSE UP.

BRIGHTNESS
Brightness refers to the brightness of the im ge.
You c n set the brightness v lue from 1 to 10 to d rken or brighten the im ge.
The higher the v lue, the brighter the im ge.
EXPOSURE MODE
You c n set the EXPOSURE MODE s GLOBAL, BLC, nd WDR.
• GLOBAL 


GLOBAL refers to the norm l exposure mode, which djusts lighting
distribution, v ri tions, nd non-st nd rd processing.
• BLC (Backlight Com ensation) 


BLC (B cklight Compens tion) compens tes light to the object in the front to
m ke it cle r, but m y c use overexposure of the b ckground where the light
is strong.
When BLC is selected s the exposure mode, the BLC level c n be djusted
from 0 to 8.
• WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) 


The wide dyn mic r nge helps the c mer provide cle r im ges even under
b cklight circumst nces. WDR b l nces the brightness level of the whole
im ge nd provides cle r im ges with det ils.
•AGC (Auto Gain Control)
It optimizes the cl rity of the im ge in poor light conditions. The GAIN level
c n be set s HIGH, MIDDLE, or LOW. Select OFF to dis ble the GAIN
function.

Note:
The noise will be mplified when the GAIN is on.
•SENSE UP
Sense up incre ses the exposure on single fr me, which m kes c mer
more sensitive to the light so it c n produce im ges even in low lux
conditions.
You c n set the SENS-UP function s x0, x2, x4, x6, x8, x10, x12, x14, or x16
ccording to the different light conditions.
3.4.2 AWB (Auto White Balance)
White b l nce, the white rendition function of the c mer , is to djust the
color temper ture ccording to the environment. It c n remove unre listic
color c sts in the im ge. You c n set WB mode s ATW, or MWB.
•ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance)
Under ATW mode, white b l nce is djusted utom tic lly ccording to the
color temper ture of the scene illumin tion.
•MWB (Manual White Balance)
You c n set the R GAIN/B GAIN v lue from 1 to 255 to djust the sh des of
red/blue color of the im ge.

3.4.3 DAY NIGHT
COLOR, BW (Bl ck White), nd AUTO re select ble for DAY nd NIGHT
switches.
Note:
Under the LIGHTING mode, the im ge is in color ll the time, nd there is no
DAY NIGHT setting in the menu.
•COLOR
The im ge is in color in d y mode ll the time.
•B/W
The im ge is bl ck nd white ll the time, nd the infr red turns on in poor
light conditions.
•AUTO
You c n turn on/off the INFRARED nd set the v lue of SMART IR in this
menu.

You c n turn on/off the infr red to meet the requirements of different
circumst nces.
• SMART IR 


The Smart IR function is used to djust the light to its most suit ble intensity
nd prevent the im ge from overexposure. The SMART IR v lue c n be
djusted from 1 to 8. The higher the v lue, the more obvious the effects.

3.4.4 VIDEO SETTING

Move the cursor to VIDEO SETTING nd click Iris+ to enter the submenu.
CONTRAST, SHARPNESS, COLOR GAIN, 3 DNR, nd MIRROR re djust ble.
•CONTRAST
This fe ture enh nces the difference in color nd light between p rts of
n im ge. You c n set the CONTRAST v lue from 1 to 10.
•SHARPNESS
Sh rpness determines the mount of det il n im ging system c n
reproduce. You c n set the SHARPNESS v lue from 1 to 10.
•COLOR GAIN
Adjust this fe ture to ch nge the s tur tion of the color. The v lue
r nges from 1 to 10.
•3 DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
The 3 DNR function c n decre se the noise effect, especi lly when
c pturing moving im ges in poor light conditions, nd deliver more
ccur te nd sh rper im ges. You c n set the 3 DNR v lue from 1 to 10.
•MIRROR
DEFAULT, H, V, nd HV re select ble for mirror.
DEFAULT: The mirror function is dis bled.
H: The im ge flips 180° horizont lly.
V: The im ge flips 180° vertic lly.
HV: The im ge flips 180° both horizont lly nd vertic lly.
3.4.5 FUNC (Functions)
In the FUNC sub-menu, you c n set the priv cy m sk, the motion
detection, nd c mer ID.
•PRIVACY
The priv cy m sk llows you to cover cert in re s th t you don’t w nt to be
viewed or recorded. Up to four priv cy re s re configur ble.

U /Down/Left/Down button to define the position nd size of the re .
•MOTION
In the user-defined motion detection surveill nce re , the moving object
c n be detected nd the l rm will be triggered. Up to four motion detection

Edit the c mer ID on this section.

3.4.6 RESET
Reset ll settings to the f ctory def ults.
3.4.7 SAVE & EXIT
Move the cursor to SAVE & EXIT nd click Iris+ to s ve the setting nd exit
the menu.
