Unplug the TVfrom the walloutlet before cleaning.Do not useliquid cleaners oraerosol cleaners. Usea damp cloth
for cleaning.

Do not usethis TV nearwater. Forexample, do not use near abathtub, washbowl, kitchensink, or laundry tub, in awet
basement, or neara swimming pool,and the like.ThePlasma Monitor shallnot be exposedto dripping orsplashing. No
objects filled withliquids, such asvases, shall beplaced on thePlasma Monitor.
7. DO NOTBLOCK ANYVENTILATIONOPENINGS. INSTALL INACCORDANCE WITHTHE MANUFACTURERS
INSTRUCTIONS.
Slots and openingsin the cabinetback or bottomare provided forventilation, to ensurereliable operation ofthe TV andto
protect it fromoverheating. These openingsmust not beblocked or covered.The openings shouldnever be blocked by
placing the TVon a bed,sofa, rug, orother similar surface.This TV shouldnever be placednear or over a radiator orheat
resource. This TVshould not beplaced in abuilt-in installation suchas a bookcaseor rack unlessproper ventilation
is provided orthe manufacturer's instructionshave been adheredto.
9. DO NOTDEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THEPOLARIZED OR GROUNDING-TYPEPLUG. APOLARIZED PLUG
HAS TWO BLADESWITH ONE WIDERTHAN THE OTHER.A GROUNDING TYPE PLUGHAS TWO BLADESAND A

13. UNPLUG THISAPPARATUS DURING LIGHTNINGSTORMS OR WHEN UNUSED

For added Protectionfor this TVreceiver during alightning storm, orwhen it isleft
unattended and unusedfor long periodof time, unplugit from thewall outlet and
disconnect the antennaor cable system.This will preventdamage to theTV due to
lightning and powerline surges.
14. REFERALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIEDSERVICE PERSONNEL.SERVICING ISREQUIRED WHEN THEAPPARATUS
HAS BEEN DAMAGEDIN ANYWAY,SUCH ASPOWER-SUPPLYCORD OR PLUGIS DAMAGED, LIQUIDHAS BEEN
SPILLED OR OBJECTSHAVE FALLEN INTO THE APPARATUS, THEAPPARATUS HAS BEENEXPOSED TO RAIN OR

Brief Operating Instructions
1.Connection
Connect the antenna lead or CATV cable or external equipments(such as Antenna, Cable TV ,VCD,DVD,
VTR,Set top box,etc.)to the corresponding terminals or interface on the TV rear(please refer to the
owner s manual of the equipment to be connected as well)and confirm that the signal source is available
and works normally.
2.The remote control
Open the back battery cover on the remote control and install two AAA size batteries and then close
the battery cover.

3.Switching on/off
1)Connect the TV to power outlet, the power indicator will flicker and then turn blue. About 10 seconds later,
TV picture will display on the screen.
2)Press the power switch or the [POWER] button on the remote control to turn off the TV.
4.Signal source selection
Press the number [1-9]button or [ ] button to selectTV input; press the[VIDEO] button to selectVIDEO input;
press the [S-VIDEO] buttonto select S-VIDEO input;press the [ YCbCr]button to select YCbCrinput; press the
[ YPbPr] button toselect YPbPr input; pressthe [PC] button toselect PC input.
5.Air/Cable selection
Youcan select the signalreceiving method according tothe following steps:
1) Press the [MENU]button to enter themain menu.
2) Press the [ or ] button to select the itemPRESET, and press the
[ >] to enterPRESET menu.
3) Press the[ or ] button to select the itemRF INPUT.
4) Press the [< or >] buttonto change the item from amongAir,
CATV(STD),CATV(HRC) and CATV(IRC).
6.Channel search
1) Press the [MENU]button to enter themain menu.
2) Press the [ or ] button to selectthe item PRESET, and press the
[ >] to enterPRESET menu.
3) Press the [ or ] button to select the itemAuto-search.
3) Press the [< or >] buttonto start auto-searching.
7.Picture adjustment
1) Press the [MENU] button to enter the main menu.
2) Press the [ or ] button to select the item Picture, and press the
[ >] to enter Picture menu.
3) Press the [ or ] button to select the item you want to adjust.
4) Press the [ < or >] button to adjust the level.
8.Sound adjustment
1) Press the [MENU] button to enter the main menu.
2) Press the [ or ] button to select the item Sound, and press the
[ >] to enter Sound menu.
3) Press the [ or ] button to select the item you want to adjust.
4) Press the [ < or >] button to adjust the level.
Note: All buttons mentioned above are on the remote control unless indicated otherwise.
