1. SAFETY
1.1. Major information
The instructions in the Operation and Assembly Manual will guarantee that the bio replace operates correctly
and prevent damage and accidents brought on by improper use. The bio replace’s functionality and safety
have been carefully examined by the manufacturer. Only decorative uses are planned for the bio replace. Any
other use is harmful and not intended. The bio replace must be used in accordance with these guidelines in
order to ensure its security and proper operation.
The producer is not responsible for the harm brought by using the bio replace incorrectly. Refunds for used
bio replaces are not available. It is prohibited to operate the device while intoxicated, whether by alcohol or
another substance
ATTENTION!
▪Do not add fuel to a burning bio replace!
▪Do not ignite the device when it is hot!
▪In the event of a spillage from an overlled biofuel container, do not start the device.
▪It is recommended to completely burn out the bioethanol to light out the bio replace
(complete burning out eliminates the risk of evaporation of bioethanol residues).
▪Regularly inspect the containment chamber for fuel leaks.
▪If fuel is detected in the safety chamber, remove excess fuel.
▪A burning device is hot (also applies to the glass)!
▪The bio replace remains hot even up to 30 minutes after it is completely extinguished.
▪Observe local regulations when using the bio replace.
▪Use only in a well-ventilated area.
▪The bio replace must not be exposed to moisture, low temperatures, wind, and other
unfavorable weather conditions.
▪Keep away from pets, children, and others unaware!
▪Use only the fuel specied by the manufacturer (HITZE biofuel recommended).
▪The device must not be moved while it is in operation.
▪Never leave the device switched on.
▪Never leave a running device unattended.
▪The bio replace is not suitable for continuous operation.
▪The bio replace cannot be installed in a place with drafts.
▪Be careful, because, during the operation of the bio replace, its external parts heat up to
high temperatures.
▪Do not place any objects, including ammable materials, on top of the device.
▪Bio replaces equipped with convection grilles or ventilation openings must not be covered
in any way.
▪It is forbidden to make any modications to the construction of the device.
▪In the case of replacing damaged elements of the bio replace, use only from original parts
available from the manufacturer.
▪Bio replace fuel should be stored in a safe place, outside the re zone, following local
regulations in force in the area where the bio replace has been installed.
▪When using a bio replace, we are dealing with an open re.
▪Failure to comply with the safety instructions may result in re, rapid are-up (explosion),
or burns.

▪A CO2 re extinguisher or re blanket should be located near the device to extinguish
bioethanol fuel.
▪Make sure that the wall/table/oor on which this device is placed can support its weight

2. TECHNICAL DATA
There is a bio container with a maximum lling indicator in every HITZE bio replace (Fig.1). Bio containers are
composed of bioethanol-resistant sheet metal. Additionally, the containers incorporate an absorbent insert to
stop biofuel from spilling in the event that the apparatus is unintentionally tilted. The absorbent core must be
inserted into the container to 50% of its maximum capacity in order for it to function.

3. ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
The bio replace should be unpacked in the presence of the courier. The device is approved for use in rooms
with a volume of not less than 40 m3 and an ecient natural ventilation system ensuring the supply of fresh
air. It is allowed to use several bioreplaces in the room, provided that their total power does not exceed 4.5 kW
(total biofuel consumption does not exceed 0.6 l/h). The installed device must not be exposed to gusts of wind.
Regardless of the type of bio replace, it should be installed at a minimum distance of 1 m from ammable
materials. If the bio replace is equipped with glazing, it should be installed only after the device has been
installed in its working place (Fig. 6).
Bio replaces intended for permanent installation (wall and built-in) should be placed on a non-combustible
wall of appropriate strength, or installed in a dedicated wall niche made of non-combustible material. This
type of device has dedicated holes in its construction that allow the replace to be hung on the wall (Fig. 4).
Dedicated mounting screws with wall plugs are delivered with the device. When mounting devices in a wall
recess, keep a free space between the housing and the device (min. 1 cm). If the bio replace has not been
mounted stably, it is necessary to adjust the degree of screw tightening.
Free-standing bio replaces and table bio replaces require only initial assembly from the user, consisting of
installing a bio container and, if necessary, glazing. The device must be placed on a stable and level surface
with the required load capacity..
4. SERVICE

▪MAKE SURE THAT THE BIO FIREPLACE IS COOLED!!!

4.1. Filling the biocontainer
The bio container should be lled only after the installation of the bio replace is completed. Before refueling,
check the bio container for leaks. Only fuel based on bio alcohol, intended for bio replaces, should be used in
the bio replace. It is forbidden to burn other fuels and substances. Failure to comply with the instructions may
lead to re, body burns, and damage to the bio replace.
Each bio container used in HITZE bio replaces is equipped with a maximum fuel level indicator and an
absorbent insert to prevent fuel from spilling in the event of inadvertent tilting of the device. For the absorbent
core to fullling its task, the bio container should be lled to half its maximum capacity.
If the maximum lling level of the container is exceeded, do not start the device. If biofuel is spilled, wipe it up
immediately with a paper towel.
In bio replaces equipped with a panoramic burner (BLUES, JAZZ, SOUL, SWING) before relling the biofuel,
the lid of the bio container must be removed (Fig.3). It is forbidden to ignite the bio replace without the bio
container cover installed.
4.2. Igniting the device
Only adults and sober individuals are permitted to light the bio replace, and they must adhere to all the safety
precautions outlined in this manual. Long replace matches or a replace igniter should be used to start the bio
replace. Maintain a safe distance of at least 0.5 meters between you and the burner of the bio-replace while it is
in use. The bio-replace ame will develop its right height and color after 10 to 30 minutes of burning, depending on
the type of burner utilized. It is not permitted to manually fan the ame while the bio replace is in use. Moving the
bio replace while it is operating or the bio replace with installed glass panes is prohibited. A bioreplace should
never be left unattended by an adult.
4.3. Blanking the device
Forced ame extinguishing should be avoided. In the event of the premature extinguishing of the burner (unburned
biofuel may evaporate into the environment - it may ignite spontaneously).
To extinguish the burner in the bio-replace, use the dedicated cover (BLUES, JAZZ, SOUL, SOCA, SWING) or close
the cover of the bio-container using the control handle (CALYPSO, RAVE) in accordance with Fig. 2. These elements
are delivered with the device. Before re-lighting the device, wait until the bio replace reaches room temperature
If it is necessary to extinguish the bio replace immediately, it is absolutely forbidden to extinguish the device with
water. In case of uncontrolled ignition of spilled biofuel, extinguish the replace using appropriate extinguishing
agents (type B or C re extinguisher, re blanket).
Extinguishing a burning bio replace is carried out by cutting o the air supply to its burner. In the absence of the
indicated extinguishing agents, cover the re source with a thick layer of non-combustible material, e.g. curtain,
blanket, or quilt.
If the biofuel ignites during relling, slowly put the biofuel bottle on the ground and shut o the air supply. Throwing
a lit bottle on the oor may cause an explosion.

5. MAINTENANCE
HITZE bio replaces should be cleaned routinely with a moist cloth rather than using corrosive cleaners. Bio
replace housing is painted with replace paint, and repainting is permitted in the event of harm. If there is
any mechanical damage, using the bio replace is not authorized. Please replace cracked or severely scratched
glass with new content. The manufacturer has all the necessary service materials on hand.
6. GUARANTEE
The manufacturer provides a 24-month warranty for the correct operation of the bio replace, excluding
mechanical damage to the coating. Complaints are considered within 14 working days from the date of its
written notication, for which a Warranty Card and proof of purchase are required. The purchaser is obliged
to read and comply with this manual. Failure to follow these Operating Instructions and installation voids the
warranty. Bio replaces that have already been used are excluded from the right to exchange or return. In case
