Installation Instructions:
Theunitshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewitharticle760ofTheNationalElectricalCodeaswellasNFPA72andall
applicableLocalCodes.
1. Mountunitinthedesiredlocation. Markandpredrillholesinthewalltolineupwiththetoptwokeyholesinthe
enclosure.Installtwoupperfastenersandscrewsinthewallwiththescrewheadsprotruding.Placetheenclosure’s
upperkeyholesoverthetwoupperscrews;levelandsecure.Markthepositionofthelowertwoholes.Removethe
enclosure.Drillthelowerholesandinstalltwofasteners.Placetheenclosure’supperkeyholesoverthe two upper
screws.Installthetwolowerscrewsandmakesuretotightenallscrews(Enclosure Dimensions, pg. 4).
2. SettheFN-300ULXtothedesiredDCoutputvoltagebysettingSW1(Fig. 1, pg. 2, Fig. 2c, pg. 3) to the appropriate
position(refer to Power Supply Voltage Output Selections chart).
3. ConnectACpower(115VAC60Hz)toterminalsmarked[L,G,N](Fig. 2, pg. 3).Use14AWGorlargerforall
powerconnections(Battery,DCoutput,ACinput).Use22AWGto18AWGforpower-limitedcircuits
(ACFail/LowBatteryreporting).
Keep power-limited wiring separate from non power-limited wiring (115VAC / 60Hz Input, Battery Wires).
Minimum 0.25” spacing must be provided.
CAUTION: Do not touch exposed metal parts. Shut branch circuit power before installing or servicing equipment.
There are no user serviceable parts inside. Refer installation and servicing to qualified service personnel.
