Read all instructions before using this appliance.
1 . Do not touch hot surfaces. CAUTION: Surface becomes hot during use. Use kitchen
mitts when handling hot materials and allow for all metal parts to cool down
before cleaning. Allow for the appliance to cool down completely before placing
or removing parts. Even if the appliance is unplugged it could retain residual heat.
2 . Keep hands and utensils out of the appliance when using it. Do not touch hot
surfaces. Use oven mitts and the knobs. CAUTION: Surface becomes hot during
use.
3 . Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before relocating or
cleaning it.
4 . When the appliance is not being used and before cleaning it, unplug it from the
electrical outlet.
5 . Do NOT immerse in or expose the base, power cord, or plug into water or any
other liquids. NEVER use this appliance near water or wet surfaces. Do NOT plug/
unplug the appliance into/from the electrical outlet with your hands wet.
6 . Do NOT operate the appliance if the power cord is cut, damaged, or if the wires are
exposed. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer.
7 . Keep the power cord and appliance AWAY from heated surfaces, including
stovetops, burners, or heated ovens.
8 . To disconnect the appliance from an electrical outlet turn any control to OFF, pull
directly on the plug; DO NOT pull on the power cord.
9 . Do NOT put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as

the power cord could fray and break.
10. Do NOT operate the appliance if it malfunctions, or if it is dropped or damaged.

surfaces.
17. Do NOT place this appliance near the stove or any other hot surface, as it may

18. If the appliance is covered up while in use or if it comes into contact with ammable
materials, including drapes and curtains when in use, it could cause a re. Do not
place any objects on top of the appliance when it is functioning. Do NOT leave the
appliance unattended while it is in use.

22. If the appliace is overlled, boiling water could be expelled from the pot.
23. This appliance cannot be immerse in water or any other liquids.
24. There is a risk of injury if the instructions in this manual are not carefully followed.
25. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot liquids.
WARNING: During the rst few minutes of initial use, you may notice a little
smoke and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly disappear. It
will not recur after the appliance has been used a few times.

• EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer
detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may
be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer detachable power-supply
cord or extension cord is used:

1 . The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and
2 . The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled
on unintentionally by children or the user.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1 . Unpack the appliance and all parts. Remove all packaging materials, including
any stickers or labels.
2 . Remove any unmountable accessories from the appliance.
3 . Fill the pot with water until MAX level. Turn on the appliance and allow water to
boil.
4 . Discard the water very carefully and rinse with cold water.
5 . Choose an adequate place for the appliance.
6 . Do not place the appliance under any cabinets or too close to the wall to allow
for the heat to ow without damaging the surrounding space.
7 . Plug in the appliance to a wall outlet.
CAUTION: The surfaces of the appliance get hot. To avoid accidental
burns, scalping, or steam being released while cooking, always
manipulate the appliance by using an oven mitt.

USING THE APPLIANCE
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This appliance is designed for household use only.
2. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Do not place
appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
3. Make sure that the marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord is at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
4. Make sure that the switch is set to 0 (OFF) position. Plug in the cord to the wall
outlet. Make sure the outlet is separate from other appliances to avoid the circuit
to overcharge.
5. To cook with water, add water to the pot between the MIN and MAX levels. NOTE:
it is very important that you do not ll the pot with water over the MAX mark,
because the boiling water could spill. Do not ll with water below the MIN mark,
because the water could dry up quickly and the appliance could overheat while is
it functioning.
6. Move the switch to I or II position (I is LOW and II is HIGH).
7. Place the lid on the pot. Allow for the water to boil.
8. Carefully lift up the lid, making sure not to burn yourself, and add the ingredients
to the pot.
9. Once again, place the lid on the pot. Allow for the appliance to cook the
ingredients to your liking.
10. As soon as the appliance is done cooking, move the switch to 0 (OFF) position.
Carefully unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down.
11. This appliance is NOT designed to be used without water. CAUTION: if this
appliance is used without water, it may cause overheating, which could
permanently damage the appliance.
12. The cooking time of ingredientes will vary according to your personal liking.
Usually, cooking ingredients in this appliance requires short periods of time
(between 15 and 30 minutes). NOTE: Once the cooking process is nished, move

the switch to 0 (OFF) position and allow the appliance to cool down for at least
30 minutes before cooking the next batch.
TO USE THE STEAMER
1. Add water to the pot between the MIN and MAX levels.
2. Place the vegetables or other ingredients on the steamer rack and place it over
the pot.
3. Put the lid on. Always keep the lid on while the appliance cooks.
4. Move the switch to I or II position (I is LOW and II is HIGH).
5. When the food is ready, use plastic spoon or wooden utensils. Do not use
metallic utensils since it could scratch and damage the steamer rack.
CLEANING
Proper maintenance will ensure years of service of your product. Clean the product
after every use following these steps. This product contains no user-serviceable parts
and requires little maintenance.
Warning: The surfaces of the appliance will get very hot during use. Unplug the
product and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
1. Clean the interior and exterior surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth or
sponge.
2. To get rid of food residue in the pot, ll with water until the MAX level. Switch on
the appliance on to the max and allow the water to boil. Very carefully, dispose
of the hot water and rinse with cold water.
3. Never use chemicals or abrasive sponges to clean the appliance.
4. Always dry the appliance completely before storing.
5. Depending on the quality of the water, leftover water residue may dry up and
calcify at the bottom or on the inner walls of the pot. This will not aect the
cooking of the appliance. This may happen as early as on the rst use of the

appliance, in the form of small dots. You may continue using the appliance.
6. If the calcication becomes a thick lm on the bottom or walls of the pot, you
can eliminate it by using a commercial softener and follow the instructions. You
may also add a cup of white vinegar in the pot, ll with water up to the MAX line,
and boil. Once boiled, very carefully dispose of the water and vinegar and wipe
with a soft cloth. Dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE, THE POWER CORD
OR THE PLUG INTO WATER OR ANY LIQUIDS
STORAGE
1. After following the steps of cleaning and maintenance, collect the power chord.
2. Store the appliance in a dry and clean place.
SPECIFICATIONS
The domestic supply voltage will vary according to the region where you are. Before
using the appliance, verify that the voltage of the domestic supply corresponds to
that indicated in the appliance. This value is found on a label usually located at the
base of the appliance.

1 . No toque las supercies calientes. La temperatura de las supercies accesibles
puede ser alta cuando el artefacto esté en funcionamiento. Use guantes de cocina
cuando maneje materiales calientes y permita que las partes metálicas se enfríen
antes de limpiar. Deje que el artefacto se enfríe totalmente antes de poner o

8 . Para desconectar el artefacto del tomacorriente, apaguelo completamente y tire
directamente del enchufe, NO tire del cordón eléctrico.
9 . NO ponga presión sobre el cordón eléctrico donde se conecta al artefacto, ya que
el cordón eléctrico podría romperse.
10. NO utilice el artefacto si funciona mal, o si se ha caído o dañado. Solo puede
revisado por un tecnico autorizado.

• CABLES DE EXTENSIÓN
Se provee un cordón eléctrico corto para reducir el riesgo de enredarse o tropezar
con un cable/cordón largo. Pueden usarse cables de extensión más largos si se
toman las precauciones necesarias en su uso. Si se usa cable de extensión:
1. Las características eléctricas del cable de extensión deben ser iguales o superiores
a las del artefacto.
2. El cable debe colocarse de forma que no cuelgue para evitar que se pueda
tropezar, enredarse o tirar de él accidentalmente (especialmente por niños).

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
1 . Retire los materiales de embalaje y las etiquetas.
2 . Retire los accesorios desmontables del artefacto.
3 . Llene de agua la olla hasta el nivel MAX. Prenda el artefacto y permita
que el agua hierva.
4 . Deseche el agua caliente y enjuague con agua fría.
5 . Seleccione una ubicación adecuada para el artefacto.
6 . No coloque el artefacto debajo de los gabinetes ni demasiado cerca de
la pared para permitir que el calor uya sin dañar el espacio.
7 . Enchufe el artefacto en un tomacorriente acorde a su voltaje.
PRECAUCIÓN: Las supercies del artefacto se calientan. Siempre
abra y cierre la tapa utilizando un guante de cocina para evitar
quemaduras mientras cocina.
FUNCIONAMIENTO
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO:
1. Este artefacto está diseñado sólo para uso doméstico.
2. Coloque el artefacto en una supercie seca, estable y resistente al calor.
3. Verique y conrme que voltaje del artefacto sea el misma que el circuito
de la red doméstica y que el interruptor este en la posición 0 (apagado). A
continuación, conecte el cordón eléctrico de la olla al tomacorriente con
cuidado. Asegúrese de que sea un tomacorriente separado de otros artefactos
para evitar que el circuito se sobrecargue.
4. Para cocinar con agua, agregue agua a la olla entre los niveles MIN y MAX. NOTA:
es muy importante que no llene de agua la olla por encima del nivel máximo,
ya que agua hirviente se podría derramar. No llene de agua debajo del nivel
mínimo, ya que el artefacto se podría secar mientras está en funcionamiento.

5. Coloque la tapa sobre la olla, para encender el artefacto mueva el interruptor a
la posicion I o II (I es BAJO y II es ALTO). La luz indicadora se encendera mientras
este en uso.
6. Permita que el agua hierva.
7. Levante la tapa con cuidado de no quemarse y agregue los ingredientes a la olla.
8. Vuelva a colocar la tapa sobre la olla. Permita que la olla cocine los ingredientes
a su gusto.
9. Tan pronto haya terminado de utilizar el artefacto, apaguelo y deje enfriar. Este
artefacto no se apaga solo.
10. Siempre lleve el interruptor a la posición 0 (apagado) después de cada uso y
antes de conectar o desconectar del tomacorriente.
11. Este producto NO está diseñado para ser utilizado sin agua. PRECAUCIÓN: si
este arfectacto se pone en funcionamiento sin agua, el sobrecalentamiento del
mismo podría dañar el artefacto permanentemente.
12. El tiempo de cocción de los alimentos variará de acuerdo a su gusto personal.
Normalmente, elaborar alimentos en este artefacto requiere poco tiempo (entre
15 a 30 minutos). NOTA: una vez terminado el proceso de cocción del primer lote,
lleve el interruptor a la posición 0 (apagado) y por favor permita que el artefacto
se enfríe por al menos 30 minutos antes de cocinar el siguiente lote.
PARA USAR LA VAPORERA
1. Agregue agua a la olla entre el nivel MIN y el nivel MAX.
2. Coloque los vegetales u otros alimentos sobre la bandeja que se suministra y
colóquela encima de la olla para cocinar.
3. Coloque la tapa. Siempre mantenga la tapa sobre la olla mientras cocina.
4. Mueva el interruptor a la posicion I o II (I es BAJO y II es ALTO).Cuando los
alimentos estén listos para servir, utilice una cuchara plástica o utensilios de
madera. No use utensilios metálicos ya que podría rayar la bandeja vaporera.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
El mantenimiento adecuado asegurará muchos años con su artefacto. Limpie el
artefacto después de cada uso. Este artefacto no contiene piezas reparables por el
usuario y requiere poco mantenimiento.
ADVERTENCIA: Las supercies del artefacto están extremadamente
calientes debido al uso, desenchufe el artefacto y permita que se
enfríe antes de limpiar.
1. Limpie las supercies interiores y exteriores del artefacto con un paño húmedo
o una esponja suave. Secar con un paño suave. No use materiales abrasivos o
metálicos.
2. Para eliminar restos de alimentos pegados a la olla, llene de agua la olla hasta
el nivel MAX. Encianda el artefacto y deje que el agua hierva. Deseche el agua
caliente y enjuague con agua fría.
3. Nunca use químicos o esponjas abrasivas para limpiar el artefacto.
4. Siempre seque completamente antes de guardar.
5. En dependencia de la calidad de agua, puede aparecer calcicación en forma
de pequeños puntos en el fondo o en las paredes de la olla. Esto no afectará el
funcionamiento del artefacto y puede continuar utilizandolo. Esta calcicación
puede ocurrir incluso después del primer uso.
6. Si nota que la calcicación se convierte en una capa gruesa, puede eliminarla
usando algún descalcicador comercial y siguiendo las instrucciones. También
puede adicionar una taza de vinagre blanco en la olla, llenar con agua hasta la
línea máxima y hervir. Una vez terminado deseche el agua con vinagre y limpie
con un paño suave. Proceda a hervir agua limpia dos o tres veces para eliminar
cualquier resto de vinagre. Seque bien con paño suave.

PRECAUCIÓN: NUNCA SUMERJA EL ARTEFACTO, EL
CABLE O EL ENCHUFE EN AGUA U OTROS LÍQUIDOS.
ALMACENAJE
1. Luego de seguir los pasos de limpieza y mantenimiento, recoja el cordón
eléctrico.
2. Guarde el artefacto en un lugar seco y limpio.

herein stated, that should this product become defective by reason of mechanical or
workmanship manufacturing defects during the specied warranty period, HOLSTEIN
HOUSEWARES will, at its option, either repair or replace this product found to be
defective. HOLSTEIN HOUSEWARES warrants that from the date of purchase, this
product will be free from mechanical manufacturing defects for a period of 180 days.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or
replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the purchaser.
CONDITIONS
THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES, IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING
THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY

EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUDED.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Purchaser must present the original sales receipt.
Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service or replacement. Dealers,
service centers, or retail stores do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way,
change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY
The warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage occurred because of
