Halogen Table Lamp
No. 6249/3
Please make sure that the following parts for your lamp are enclosed:
1. Lamp
2. 60-Watt Halopin Bulbs,
3 each, frosted
3. Glass shield
4. Glass shade
NOTE OF CAUTION:
The recommended replacement
bulbs for this xture are 60 Watt Osram
Halopin bulbs.
Useofotherbrandsofunknownquality
may cause a risk of overheating.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Use only a soft, dry cloth to clean.
If necessary, a slightly damp,
soft cloth may be used to spot
clean.
Do not use common household
cleaners or brass cleaners on
lamps or xtures, as the lacquer on
the outside of the brass may be damaged as a result.

CAUTION, IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable luminaire has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to
reduce the risk of electrical shock. This plug will fit a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.

WARNING - To reduce the risk of FIRE, ELECTRIC
SHOCK, EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE UV RADIATION OR
INJURY TO PERSONS:
Turn off power/unplug and allow to cool before replacing bulb.1.
Bulb gets HOT quickly. Contact only switch/plug when turning on.2.
Do not touch hot lens, guard or enclosure.3.
Do not remain in light if skin feels warm.4.
Do not look directly at lighted lamp.5.
Keep lamp away from materials that burn.6.
Use only with a 60 Watt or smaller bulb.7.
Do not touch the bulb at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage bulb.8.
Do not operate the portable luminaire with a missing or damaged guard, lamp containment9.
barrier or UV filter.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
Halogen Table Lamp
No. 6249/3
Lamp Base/Socket Assembly
(A) Stem for Glass Shade
(B) Ceramic Socket for Halopin Bulb
(C) Aluminum Nut
(D)White Glass Shield Holder
1. Unscrew the aluminum
nut (C) to release the glass
shield holder. Remove the
glass shield holder (D) from
the lamp.
2. Set the glass shield in
place over the base of
the lamp, shiny side down.
It is necessary to install
the glass shield before
installing the bulbs.
3. Replace the glass shield holder. Align
the recessed portion of the aluminum
nut with the cutout portion of the glass
shield holder and tighten the aluminum
nut back into place, hand tight. Be
careful not to overtighten.
Install the Glass Shield

Install the Bulbs
PLEASE NOTE: BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE
BULB ENVELOPE WITH YOUR BARE HANDS.
4. Use the packaging provided with the bulb to
protect the bulb envelope during installation. Push
the bulb directly into the socket (B). Remove all
packaging.
5. The glass shade comes assembled with a
threaded rod. Align the threaded knob with the
center stem (A) of the fixture and screw the glass
shade into place.
Your lamp is now operational.
