Maintenance
Toprotectyourfurniture,wesuggestthefollowing:.
□Avoidplacingyourfurnitureindirectsunlight,assunlightcausesfading.
□Cleanupliquidsimmediately.Useablottingratherthanawipingaction.Waterleftover
alongperiodoftimewillcausewhitespotsinthefinish.
□Alcohol,perfume,after-shaveandmedicationscancauseseveredamagetothefinish.
CareandCleaning
Forbestresultsincleaningandpolishingyourfurniture,werecommendthefollowing:
□Dustfrequentlywithaclean,soft,dry,lint-freecloth.Cleanthesurfacebyrubbinginthe
directionofthegrain.
□Polishyourfurnitureapproximatelyeverysixmonthswithaproductthatcontains
detergents,emulsifiersandmineraloil.Thedetergentscleandirtfromthefurniture;the
emulsifiersgiveitbodytocleanandlastlonger;themineraloilisleftbehindasabarrier
fordirtandmoisturethatcanharmthefinish.Thereisnogrittoharmthefinish,nowax
build-up,andnosiliconetoraisethesheenandactasabarrierfortouch-upsand
refinishing.
□Cleanupspillsimmediately.Useablottingratherthanawipingaction.Waterleftovera
longperiodoftimewillcausewhitespotsinthefinish.
□Cleantheoutsidesurfacewithmildsoap,warmwater,andasoftcloth.
□Onstubbornstains,useapowdereddetergentanddampspongeornylonscouring
pad.
□Neveruseabrasivescouringpowders,cleansers,orpadsbecausetheywillscratch,
damage,anddullthesurface.
□Cleanthesinksurfacewithmildsoapandwarmwater,thendrywithasoftcloth.
