WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original
consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to
be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or
replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been
damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alterations, neglect or mishandling.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up,
or used in any way not in accordance with the in the product as a result of an accident, misuse,
abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material

Pre-Installation
PLANNING THE INSTALLATION
Read all instructions before assembly and installation. Before starting installation of the fixture or
removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing
the fuse at the fuse box. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive
surface such as carpet or cardboard.

Thread two hex nuts (AA) onto the nipple
(HH) to the midpoint.
Thread the nipple (HH) in through the
center hole of the mounting bracket (II)
approximately 1/3 of the way. Do not
tighten the hex nuts (AA).
Pull the supply wires out from the outlet
box.
Attach the mounting bracket (II) to the
outlet box by feeding the mounting screws
(DD) through the slots of the mounting
bracket (II) and tightening them into the
mounting holes of the outlet box.

NOTE: If you have electrical questions

approved grounding methods.
Thread the screw collar loop (FF) 8 to 9
turns onto the bottom end of the nipple
(HH).
Tighten the bottom hex nut (AA) against the
screw collar loop (FF).
Place the canopy (A) over the outlet box.
Turn the screw collar loop (FF) until the
midpoint of the outer threads of the screw
collar loop (FF) align with the bottom
surface of the canopy (A).
Remove the canopy (A) and tighten the top
hex nut (AA) against the mounting bracket
(II).

Determine the desired length needed for
installation.
Attach the chain (JJ) to the fixture body (B) using
the chain link connector (EE).
Raise the chain (JJ) and the main fixture body up to
the outlet box to determine the desired length
needed for installation.
Identify the chain link that needs to be opened to
remove the excess chain.
Open the chain link using two pair of pliers.
Remove and discard the excess chain.
Keep the opened chain link.
Securing the chain
Slide the threaded ring (CC) onto the chain
(JJ) followed by the canopy (A).
Hook the previously opened chain link onto
the top link of the chain (JJ).
Raise the opened chain link along with the
chain (JJ) and the main fixture body up to the
ceiling and hook it onto the screw collar loop
(FF).
Use pliers to close the opened chain link.

5Threading the cord

Feed the cord and fixture ground wire into
the center hole of the screw collar loop (FF),
through the nipple (HH), and then out of the
outlet box.
Continue feeding the cord and fixture ground
wire until there is no slack remaining.
Cut off any excess cord and fixture ground
wire, leaving 6in. extending from the outlet
box.
Split and separate the fixture cord and strip
off 3/8 in. of insulation from each wire.
6Connecting the wires
Loop the fixture ground wire around the
ground screw located on the mounting bracket
(II) and leave 4 in. of wire extending from the
ground screw.
Tighten the ground screw against the
mounting bracket (II).
Connect the black supply wire to the smooth
fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the white supply wire to the ribbed
fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the fixture ground wire and the supply ground wire together using a wire nut (BB).
Wrap all wire connections with electrical tape for a more secure connection.
Carefully tuck all wire connections into the outlet box.

Install light bulbs or LED equivalent (not
included) and twist to secure onto fixture
body (B).
Secure the cage (C) onto fixture body (B)
using cage screws (GG).

exceed a 60 watt incandescent
lightbulb or LED equivalent (not
included).

7Securing the canopy
Slide the canopy (A) up the chain (JJ),
toward the outlet box, and up against the
ceiling surface.
Slide the threaded ring (CC) up the chain (JJ)
and thread it onto the screw collar loop (FF)
to secure the canopy (A) flush against the
ceiling surface.

Operation
Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
Care and Cleaning
EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean
cloth and wipe the surface of the fixture.
INTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Disconnect power to the fixture by turning
off the circuit breaker or by removing the
fuse at the fuse box.
Use a dry or slightly dampened clean
cloth to wipe the interior surface of the
fixture.
Troubleshooting

NOTE: Do not use any cleaners with chemicals,
solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry
soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

PLANIFICACIÓN DE LA INSTALACIÓN

1Montaje de ferretería
Enrosque dos tuercas hexagonales (AA) en el
boquilla (HH) hasta el punto medio.
Enrosque el boquilla (HH) a través del orificio
central del mensula de montaje(II)
aproximadamente 1/3 de su recorrido. No
apriete las tuercas hexagonales (AA).
Saque los cables de suministro de la caja de
salida.
Fije el mensula de montaje(II) a la caja de
distribución pasando los tornillos de montaje
(DD) a través de las ranuras del mensula de
montaje(II) y ajustándolos en los orificios de
montaje de la caja de distribución.

Enrosque el bucle roscado (FF) 8 a 9 en el
extremo inferior de la boquilla (HH).
Apriete la tuerca hexagonal inferior (AA) contra
el bucle roscado (FF).
Coloque la cubierta (A) sobre la caja de salida.
Gire el lazo del bucle roscado (FF) hasta que el
punto medio de las roscas exteriores del lazo
del bucle roscado (FF) se alinee con la
superficie inferior de la cubierta (A).
Retire la cubierta (A) y apriete la tuerca
hexagonal superior (AA) contra el mensula de
montaje (II).

3Ajustando la longitud de
la cadena
Determine la longitud deseada necesaria
para la instalación.
Coloque la cadena (JJ) a el Cuerpo del
Cuerpo Principal (B) con el eslabon
conector de la cadena (EE) .
Levante la cadena (JJ) y el cuerpo
principal hasta la caja de alimentacion
para determinar la longitud deseada para
la instalacion.
Identifique el eslabon de la cadena que
necesita abrir para quitar el exceso de
cadena.
Utilizando dos pares de pinzas, abra el
eslabon de la cadena.
Quite y deseche el exceso de cadena.
Conserve el eslabon abierto de la cadena.
4Asegurando la cadena
Deslice el aro roscado (CC) en la cadena
(JJ), seguido por la cubierta (A).
Enganche el eslabon de la cadena abierto
previamente en el eslabon superior de la
cadena (JJ).
Levante el eslabon abierto de la cadena
junto con la cadena (JJ) y el cuerpo
principal hasta el techo y enganchelo en el
bucle roscado (FF).
Use pinzas para cerrar el eslabon abierto.

Pase el cordon y el cable a tierra del luminario en
el agujero central del bucle roscado (FF), por el
centro de la boquilla (HH), y fuera de la caja de
alimentacion..
Continue pasando el cordon y el cable a tierra
del luminario hasta que no quede exceso de
cable ni de cordon.
Corte cualquier exceso del cordon y del cable a
tierra del luminario, dejando una longitud de 6
pulgadas (15,24 cm), que se extiende desde la
caja de alimentacion.
Divida el cable a la mitad y pele 3/8 pulg. (9,5
mm) del aislamiento de cada cable.
Enrolle el cable tierra del luminario alrededor del
tornillo de tierra situado en el mensula de montaje
(II) y deje que el cable extienda 4 pulg. (10,16 cm).
Apriete el tornillo de tierra contra la mensula de
montaje(II).
Conecte el cable negro de alimentacion con el
cable liso usando una tuerca para cables (BB).
Conecte el cable blanco de alimentacion con el
cable acanalado usando una tuerca para cables
(BB).

NOTA: Si tiene dudas con las conexiones
electricas,consulte el codigo electrico de su
localidad para los metodos aprobados para las
conexiones a tierra.
Conecte el cable a tierra del luminario con el cable a tierra de alimentacion usando una tuerca
para cables (BB).
Envuelva todas las conexiones de los cables con cinta de aislar para una conexion mas segura.

8Ensamblando la linterna

Atornille las bombillas (no incluido) en los
casquillos del cuerpo de la luminaria.
Asegure la jaula (C) en el Cuerpo Principal
(B) usando los tornillos de la jaula (GG).
NOTA: Lámparas de reemplazo no deben
exceder una bombilla incandescente de 60
vatios o LED equivalente (no incluido).

Deslice la cubierta (A) hasta la cadena (JJ),
hacia la caja de alimentacion y contra la
superficie del techo.
Deslice el aro roscado (CC) hasta la cadena
(JJ) y enrosquelo en el bucle roscado (FF)
para asegurar la cubierta (A) al ras contra la
superficie del techo..
