READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER
WARNING-DANGER OF BURNS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR HEATER.
•To provide continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to properly
grounded outlets only.
•To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into a 240V AC electrical
outlet.
•Do not use outdoors.
• Your heater is intended for domestic household use only.
• Always unplug the heater from the power outlet when not in use.
• This heater becomes hot during use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces.
If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (90cm) away
from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids
and whenever the heater is left unattended.
• Always unplug the heater when not in use.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not run the cord of the heater under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw
rugs, runners or other floor coverings. Arrange the cord away from traffic areas where
it will not be tripped over.
• Do not locate the heater immediately below a socket outlet.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surrounds of a bath, shower, laundry area or
swimming pool.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings as
this may cause electric shock or fire, or damage to the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not
use on soft surfaces, such as beds, where opening may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparing parts inside. Do not use it in areas where petrol,
paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
•Allow the heater to cool completely before servicing.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of this appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this unit.
Doing so will void your warranty. The inside of the unit contains no user serviceable

parts. All servicing should be performed by qualified personnel only.
Additiona Precautions
• Read carefully and save all the instructions provided with heater.
• Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug.
Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
• Turn the power off and remove the plug when the heater is not in use.
• Do not use your heater with an extension cord.
• Always use your heater from a power outlet of the voltage (A.C. only).
• Close supervision is necessary when your heater is being used near children or infirm
persons.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the heater.
• Never leave the heater unattended while in use.
• Do not use the heater for any purpose other than its intended use.
• Do not place the heater on or near a hot gas flame, electric element or on a heated
oven. Do not place on top of any other appliance.
• Do not let the power cord of the heater hang over the edge of a table or bench top or
touch any hot surface.
• Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cord or after the appliance
has been damaged in any manner. If damage is suspected, return the heater to the
nearest service centre for repair.
• Do not immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
accessories.
• This heater draws 8.7 amps during operation. To prevent overloading a circuit, do not
plug the heater into a circuit that is already being used to power other appliances.
• While it is normal for the heater’s plug to feel warm to the touch, a loose fit between
the plug and the electrical outlet may cause overheating and warping of the plug. If
the outlet is loose, contact a qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlets.
This heater is equipped with a grounded type p ug and must be p ugged into
a grounded type out et. This is a safety feature: DO NOT REPLACE THIS
PLUG!

Before using the heater as a floor type, attach the feet to the unit.
Attach feet to the base of the heater using the 4 tapping screws provided, taking care
to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater.(Fig.1)

Wa Mounting Instructions
WARNING: Heater shou d be ocated on the wa where no combustib e
materia is above the heater, and other sides of the heater shou d be at east 3
feet (0.9m) away from the nearby combustib e materia s.
1. For wall mounting, enough space must be left around the heater. (Fig.2)

2. Draw two horizontal lines on the wall, 255mm distance between the two lines.
3. Drill two holes at the end of each horizontal line, drill four holes for the plastic inserts
(included). Distance for the two holes for upper horizontal line should be L1, the same
as that of the slots on the back of the heater. The distance for the two holes for the
lower line should be L2. (Fig.3)
4. Insert the plastic inserts into the four holes on the wall. (Fig.4)

5. Insert two screws to the upper plastic inserts, leave the head of the screws
protruding 8mm. (Fig. 4)
6. Install two spacers in the bottom of the heater. (Fig 5)

7. Slip the two hooks over the screw head and slide into the slot, then tighten screws to
the hooks. (Fig. 6)

8. Hang up the heater on the wall by aligning the slots onto the hooks.
9. Insert screws thru holes in spacers at bottom of the heater and fasten to the wall.

Operation
NOTE: When you first turn on your heater it may emit a slight odor, this is normal. This
odor will dissipate after the heater has been on a short time.
Plug the unit to electrical outlet.
ON/OFF Switch
Turn power switch to “ON”. The ON OFF switch controls the heater’s operation.
Thermostat Dia
The thermostat dial allows you to set your desired temperature level. The thermostat
monitors the room’s temperature and continuously adjusts the heat output to maintain
your selected comfort level. The element is only powered for as long as necessary to
restore the selected temperature, ensuring maximum efficiency. Turn CW to raise
temperature, CCW to lower temperature.
Turn the switch thermostat clockwise to the desired position.

In its minimum setting (fully counter-clockwise) position, in this position (depending on
the size of the room) the heater will maintain the temperature above freezing.
This app iance must be earthed. Use on y the proper type out et when
p ugging in the app iance; do not attempt to override the earth wire feature.
Setting the Timer
To use the heater in timed mode, it should be permanently connected to the mains
supply. If the power is disconnected, the clock will stop.
To operate the heater in timed mode, the three position switch within the dial should be
in the center position, If it is in the “-” position, the heater will be permanently ON, if it
is in the “O” position, the heater will be permanently OFF.
The timer is in 24-hour format. The timer is controlled by the plastic segments-each
segment represents 15 minutes. Pull the segment out to turn the heater “ON” for that
period of time, push in for “OFF”.
Setting the Time
The current day and time is set by rotating the timer dial clockwise until the correct day
and time is indicated opposite the datum mark.
C eaning the Heater
Always un-plug the heater from the outlet and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.
Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.
If the heater is not going to be used for long periods of time, it should be unplugged and
protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
