Thank you for choosing Homido® Prime virtual reality headset. At Homido we take pride
in designing our products to the highest standard of quality, comfort, and functionality so
that you enjoy using them.
Please read the manual carefully before using the headset and keep it for future reference.

Compatibility
To be VR-compatible, your smartphone must have the following minimum requirements:
• Gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass
• HD screen with a size between 4.7’’ and 6.2’’
• 2 GB of RAM

First steps
1. Download VR Center by Homido®
• Search for “VR Center by Homido” on the App Store or Google Play.
• Install the application.
2. Choose your content
 360° VIDEOS:
• Touch the icon to start playback on a video card (represented by the symbol).
 APPLICATIONS / GAMES / EXPERIENCES:
• Press the icon on an app card (represented by the symbol).
• You will be redirected to the corresponding App Store or Google Play page. Download
your application and return to the VR Center by pressing “Back”.
• Once the application is installed, the “Download” icon will be replaced by a play button.
Press it to start the experience.
3. Insert your smartphone
See image on page 3.
• Hold the smartphone compartment open and adjust the sliders according to the width
of your smartphone.
• Place the smartphone on the sliders in a horizontal position.
• Make sure to align the center of the screen with the level of the septum.
• Gently close the smartphone compartment door and fix the silicon fastener to the hook.
4. Adjust your headset
• Place the headset against your face.
• Adjust the headstrap by sliding the buckles forward to tighten and back to loosen the strap.
• You can add the front strap (optional) for extra comfort. See point 6 below for instructions.
• Adjust the distance between the lenses with the dial at the bottom left.
5. Get more visual comfort
For additional comfort, you can adjust the view by scanning one of the following three QR
codes through the “Cardboard” application:

• Download the “Cardboard” application from the store and open it.
• When you use this application for the first time, you can scan one of the QR codes, the
one best suited to your inter-pupillary distance.

6. Attach the additional strap (optional)
See image on page 5.
• Prepare the strap as shown in drawing 1.
• Insert the horizontal strap into the bottom hook (drawing 2).
• Push the horizontal strap down (drawing 3).
• Fold the strap in behind the top hook (drawing 4).
7. Use the virtual reality headset in augmented reality mode

The Homido Prime has a transparent front; in most cases it can be kept for augmented
reality applications however it is possible to detach it completely.
• Hold the lower part against the body of the headset.
• Pull the upper part slowly forward to unclip it.
VR Center by Homido®
You will find the latest trendy 360° videos in a simple and user-friendly interface as
well as the best VR experiences selected each day by our teams and users.
• Live Feed
A news feed featuring the latest content for your virtual reality headset; this content can
be a VR game, an experience, a 360° video, or a post.
• Top 20 and User Vote
Updated every week according to your votes, a ranking of applications and videos will be
presented as a Top 20 illustrated with icons indicating whether the content is up, down, or
stable compared to last week.
• Apps and Videos Categories
All the experiences offered in the VR Center are filed by category.
• My Apps (Android™)
Indicated by the small icons at the top right of the application, the “My Apps” section
allows you to find and launch all the VR Center apps already installed on your smartphone.
It’s a simple and effective way to keep all its contents in the same place. This function is
available for Android smartphones only.
• Bookmarks
Located in the side menu, it helps to find all the experiences in the Live Feed as well
as in the categories. Each application or a video card gives you the possibility to mark
the content to find it later in this section, at any time.

By dragging an application card to the left, you can access this card or delete it from the
Bookmarks page.
• Dynamic Search
You can start a dynamic search at any time by typing in the first three characters of the
content you are looking for. The results will be displayed instantly in the form of cards,
giving you access to the experiences.
• Facebook Connect
To ensure that votes are counted and that no votes are doubled, the VR Center uses
Facebook’s unique authentication. Only the email address is required for the sole purpose
of identifying the user, no other information from your Facebook account is used.
• Sharing Through the VR Center by Homido®
You can use this function to flag an application or a 360° video to be added in the VR Center.
It is very simple to use: press the share button and share through the VR Center. After
testing or viewing, we may add the proposed content.
• Expert Mode
A space reserved for those who are familiar with more complex applications, technical
articles and exclusive tutorials.
VR Stream by Homido®
VR Stream is an all-immersive version of the VR Center by Homido app that offers every
360° video from our catalog in a simplified interface, and allows to switch from one video
to another without removing your smartphone from the headset.
VR Stream is an additional application that can be used by itself or along with the VR
Center on your Android™ smartphone. If both apps are installed, the VR Center videos will
open in VR Stream.
On an iPhone®, VR Stream is completely independent from the VR Center. This is a version
dedicated to 360° videos with the same features as the Android version, namely:
• Immersive Navigation
The content of the entire catalog is accessible in virtual reality.
• Playback Control
The video player has a control bar that allows you to go forward, rewind, or choose the
exact moment on the playback slider.

WARNING
• This device is not a toy.
• Not recommended for children under 13.
• Prolonged use may cause fatigue. Use moderately.
• Take at least a 10 to 15 minutes break every 30 minutes.
• Make sure the smartphone is correctly inserted in the device.
• Use the device in a safe environment. Use of the device may cause a loss of balance;
make sure that the environment is safe and secure before putting the headset on.
• Do not use while driving a vehicle. Do not use while playing sports.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures.
• Do not expose the lenses to direct sunlight.
• Screen protectors may limit the accuracy of the action button.
Photosensitivity/Epilepsy seizures
A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures or blackouts
when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or
backgrounds on a television screen or when playing video games may trigger epileptic
seizures or blackouts in these individuals. These conditions may trigger previously
undetected epileptic symptoms or seizures in persons who have no history of prior
seizures or epilepsy. If you, or anyone in your family has an epileptic condition or has had
seizures of any kind, consult your physician before playing.
IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE use and consult your physician before resuming gameplay if
you or your child experience any of the following health problems or symptoms:
• Dizziness
• Altered vision
• Eye or muscle twitches
• Loss of awareness
• Disorientation
• Customization
You can customize the VR Stream interface by selecting different virtual environments.
• Intuitive Controls
The application can be used with capacitive action button, Android game controllers and
the Homido Flip controller (available only on homido.com).

Pour être compatible VR votre smartphone doit disposer au minimum de :
• Gyroscope, accéléromètre et magnétomètre
• Écran HD d’une taille comprise entre 4.7’’ et 6. 2’’
• 2 GB de RAM

Pour commencer
1) Téléchargez VR Center by Homido®
• Recherchez « VR Center by Homido » sur l’App Store ou le Google Play.
• Installez l’application.
2) Choisissez votre contenu
 VIDÉOS 360° :
• Sur une fiche vidéo (représentée par le symbole ) : appuyez sur l’icône pour
démarrer la lecture.
 APPLICATIONS / JEUX / EXPÉRIENCES :
• Sur une fiche App (représentée par ce symbole ) : appuyez sur l’icône .
• Vous serez redirigé vers la page App Store ou Google Play correspondante. Téléchargez
votre application, puis revenez dans le VR Center en appuyant sur « Back ».
• Une fois l’application installée l’icône « Download » est remplacée par un bouton lecture,
appuyez dessus pour lancer l’expérience.
3) Insérez votre smartphone

• Maintenez le compartiment pour smartphone ouvert puis ajustez les glissières
d’ajustement selon la largeur de votre smartphone.
• Déposez le smartphone en position horizontale sur les glissières d’ajustement.
• Assurez-vous de positionner le centre de l’écran au niveau du septum.
• Fermez doucement la porte du compartiment et fixez l’accroche en silicone au crochet.
4) Ajustez votre masque
• Placez votre masque contre votre visage.
• Ajustez la sangle de maintien en glissant les boucles de serrages vers l’avant pour
resserrer et vers l’arrière pour desserrer.
• Vous pouvez ajouter la sangle frontale (optionnelle) pour plus de confort. Cf Paragraphe 6.
• Ajustez l’écartement des lentilles avec la molette située en bas à gauche.
5) Pour plus de confort visuel
Pour plus de confort, vous pouvez ajuster la vision en scannant l’un des 3 QR Codes
suivant à travers l’application « Cardboard » :

• Téléchargez l’application « Cardboard » sur le store puis ouvrez-la.
• Lors de la première utilisation l’application vous proposera de scanner un QR code,
scannez le QR code le plus adapté selon votre écart inter-pupillaire.

6) Mise en place du strap optionnel

• Préparez le strap comme indiqué sur la figure 1.
• Insérez le strap horizontal dans l’encoche prévue à cet effet (figure 2).
• Placez le strap horizontal vers le bas de l’encoche (figure 3).
• Rabattez le crochet supérieur au-dessus du strap horizontal (figure 4).
7) Utilisation du casque de réalité virtuelle en mode réalité augmentée

L’Homido Prime dispose d’une façade transparente, dans la plupart des cas, celle-ci peut
être conservée pour les applications de réalité augmentée cependant il est possible de la
détacher complètement.
• Maintenez la partie basse contre le corps du casque.
• Tirez la partie haute lentement vers l’avant afin de la déclipser.
VR Center by Homido®
Dans une interface simple et conviviale vous retrouverez les dernières vidéos 360°
ainsi que les meilleures expériences VR sélectionnées chaque jour par nos équipes et
les utilisateurs.
• Live Feed
Un fil d’actualités présentant le dernier contenu pour votre masque de réalité virtuelle, ce
contenu peut être un jeu VR, une expérience, une vidéo 360° ou encore un article.
• TOP 20 et vote utilisateur
Actualisé chaque semaine en fonction de vos votes, un classement des applications
et vidéos sera présenté sous forme d’un Top 20 illustré par des icônes indiquant si le
contenu est en hausse, baisse ou stable par rapport à la semaine passée.
• Apps categories et Videos categories
Permets de retrouver par catégories toutes les expériences proposées dans le VR Center.
• My Apps (Android™)
Représenté par la petite icône en haut à droite de l’application, la rubrique « My Apps »
vous permet de retrouver et de lancer toutes les applications du VR Center déjà installées

sur votre smartphone. Une manière simple et efficace pour retrouver tout son contenu
au même endroit. Cette fonction est réservée aux smartphones Android.
• Bookmarks
Situé dans le menu latéral, il permet de retrouver toutes les expériences relevées aussi
bien dans le Live Feed que dans les catégories. Chaque fiche d’application ou de vidéo vos
donne la possibilité et à tout moment, de marquer le contenu pour le retrouver plus tard
dans cette section. En glissant vers la gauche une carte d’application, vous pouvez accéder
à sa fiche ou la supprimer de la page Bookmarks.
• Recherche dynamique
À tout moment vous pouvez lancer une recherche dynamique en tapant les trois premiers
caractères du contenu recherché. Le résultat s’affichera instantanément sous forme de
cartes donnant accès aux fiches expériences.
• Facebook Connect
Pour que les votes soient pris en compte et pour s’assurer qu’aucun vote ne soit doublé,
VR Center utilise l’authentification unique de Facebook. Seule l’adresse email est collectée
dans le seul but d’identifier l’utilisateur, aucune n’autre information émanant de votre
compte Facebook n’est utilisée.
• Partage vers le VR Center by Homido®
Permet de nous notifier une application ou une vidéo 360° à ajouter dans le VR Center. Pour
utiliser cette fonction rien de plus simple, utiliser le bouton de partage et partagez vers le VR
Center. Après essai ou lecture, nous ajouterons éventuellement le contenu proposé.
• Mode expert
Un espace réservé aux plus bricoleurs avec des applications plus complexes, des articles
techniques et des tutoriels exclusifs.
VR Stream by Homido®
VR Stream est une version toute immersive de VR Center by Homido proposant toutes
les vidéos 360° de notre catalogue dans une interface simplifiée, et permettant de passer
d’une vidéo à l’autre sans ôter votre smartphone du casque.
Sur votre smartphone Android™, VR Stream est une application additionnelle pouvant être
utilisée seule ou en complément de VR Center. Si les deux applications sont installées sur
votre smartphone Android™, les vidéos de VR Center s’ouvriront dans VR Stream.

ATTENTION
• Ce produit n’est pas un jouet.
• L’utilisation de ce produit est fortement déconseillée pour les enfants de moins de 13 ans.
• Une utilisation prolongée peut causer une fatigue visuelle.
• Utiliser modérément avec des pauses de 10 à 15 minutes toutes les 30 minutes d’activité.
• Assurez-vous que le smartphone est correctement positionné.
• Utilisez ce produit dans un environnement dégagé, assurez-vous d’voir suffisamment de
place avant de porter votre casque.
• Ne pas utiliser pendant la conduite d’un véhicule. Ne pas utiliser pendant la pratique
d’un sport.
• Ne pas exposer à de hautes températures.
• Ne pas exposer les lentilles à la lumière directe du soleil.
• Les protections d’écran peuvent limiter le fonctionnement du bouton d’action.
Avertissement sur l’épilepsie
Certaines personnes sont susceptibles de faire des crises d’épilepsie ou d’avoir des
pertes de conscience à la vue de certains types de lumières clignotantes ou d’éléments
fréquents dans notre environnement quotidien. Ces personnes s’exposent à des crises

Kompatibilität
Für die Kompatibilität für VR muss Ihr Smartphone mindestens über Folgendes verfügen:

Erste Schritte
1. VR Center by Homido® herunterladen
• Suchen Sie „VR Center by Homido” im App Store oder in Google Play.
• Installieren Sie die Anwendung.
2. Inhalte wählen
 360°-VIDEOS:
• In einer Video-Datei (dargestellt durch das Symbol ): Drücken Sie auf das Icon ,
um die Wiedergabe zu starten.
 ANWENDUNGEN/SPIELE/ERFAHRUNGEN:
• In einer App-Datei (dargestellt durch das Symbol ): Drücken Sie auf das Icon .
• Sie werden zur entsprechenden Seite im App Store oder in Google Play weitergeleitet.
Laden Sie Ihre Anwendung herunter, kehren Sie durch Drücken auf „Back” (Zurück) zum
VR Center zurück.
• Nachdem die Anwendung installiert wurde, wird das Icon „Download” durch die
Schaltfläche „Wiedergabe” ersetzt. Drücken Sie auf diese Schaltfläche, um Ihr
Erlebnis zu starten.
3. Smartphone einlegen

• Halten Sie das Smartphone-Fach geöffnet, passen Sie dann die Schieber an die Größe
Ihres Smartphones an.
• Setzen Sie das Smartphone horizontal in die Anpassungsschieber ein.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Telefon in der Mitte des Bildschirms auf Höhe der
Nase befindet.
• Schließen Sie das Smartphone-Fach und befestigen Sie den Silikonverschluss am Haken.
4. Maske einstellen
• Heben Sie die Maske an Ihr Gesicht.
• Stellen Sie das Halteband ein, indem Sie die Ringe nach vorne schieben, um es fester zu
ziehen, oder nach hinten, um das Band zu lockern.
• Sie können das vordere Band (optional) für zusätzlichen Komfort anbringen. Siehe
Abschnitt 6.
• Stellen Sie den Abstand der Linsen über das Rädchen unten links ein.
5. Mehr visueller Komfort
Für noch mehr Komfort, können Sie die Sicht durch Scannen eines der drei QR-Codes über
die Anwendung „Cardboard” einstellen:
