The Installation Sheet provides practical information for mounting, piping and cabling FMST-FXV series of Air Sampling
Smoke etector only. Full information is published in the Product Guide ( ocument number is 29330) which include
installation instructions, product use, warnings for safe use and warranty details.

Step 1: Attach bracket to wall with 4 × 4mm diameter (max) screws and 4 expansion bolts (∅8mm)
（ A ） is for FMST-FXV(E) dual pipe product series and (B) is for FMST-FXV(E) 4 pipe product series.
步骤 1 ：安装托架到墙面，提供 4 个直径为 4mm （最大）的螺丝和 4 个 ∅8mm 的膨胀螺栓。 (A) 为 FMST-FXV(E)

Step 3: Move down detector until groove (1) or groove (2) and (3) get hooked. （ A ） is for FMST-FXV(E) dual pipe
product series and (B) is for FMST-FXV(E) four pipe product series.

Step 4: Remove cap from the inlets with a tool as (A).
步骤 4 ：用如 (A) 所示的工具移除掉需要使用的孔上的堵盖。

Step 5: Insert the inlet pipes
Use 25mm O Pipes and smooth the ends of the pipes. Insert the inlet pipes firmly. Note: There must be at least
500mm (19.6”) of straight pipe from inlet of detector before bending the pipe.
To insert the exhaust pipes (if required):
Insert pipe into selected exhaust port. Exhaust pipe should be as short as possible.
Warning: Do not glue the inlet pipes into the detector. Product warranty is invalidated when inlet pipes are glued.
步骤 5 ：插入进气管：
使用外径为 25mm （ 1” ）的采样管。处理采样管的末端，使之平滑。插紧进气管。注意：在探测器进气口外
至少有 500mm （ 19.6” ）的直管。
插入排气管（如果需要）：
在所选排气口插入排气管：排气管尽可能的短。
警告：不要将进气管与探测器胶合。如果胶合进气管，则产品保修失效。
To dismount detector from bracket, push dowel pin with tool until it get disengaged with bracket then pull the detector
away from wall. (A) is for FMST-FXV(E) dual pipe product series and (B) is for FMST-FXV(E) four pipe product series.
取下探测器时需要用工具按压背板的销子直至探测器与背板脱离，然后从墙上取下。 (A)FMST-FXV(E) 双管机
系列产品的示意图； (B) 是 FMST-FXV(E) 四管机系列产品的示意图。

Step6:Terminal Wiring
The Termination Card is available with 6 relays for the FMST-FXV(E) dual pipe product series, and 12 relays for FMST-
FXV(E) four pipe product series. Use the appropriate local wiring standards to connect the detector wiring. Factory
default relays setting for single terminal board is configured as Minor fault,Major fault,Fire2, Fire1, Action, Alert. Refer
to the block diagram below for detailed information of all wiring terminals.
步骤 6 ：终端接线
6 继电器的 FMST-FXV(E) 双管机产品系列探测器以及 12 继电器的 FMST-FXV(E) 四管机产品系列探测器都具备终
端卡。根据当地适合的接线标准连接探测器的线路。单个主板继电器的工厂缺省设置分别为：次要故障，主
要故障，火警 2 ，火警 1 ，行动，警告。详细的接线端子信息参见下图。
The norminal current capability of relay wiring terminal is 2A.
继电器触点的标称电流容量为 2A 。

Ensure that ： the exhaust is open, the pipes are clear. All sampling holes have been drilled. Connect 24V C power.
Restore front cover and tighten screws. Restore termination cover and screw covers.
确保：排气口处于打开状态，采样管洁净，所有采样孔都已钻好。连接 24V C 电源。复原前面板，拧紧螺
丝。复原终端面板和螺丝盖板。
Warning: Always switch detector power OFF before plugging/unplugging cables to the termination card. Failure to do
so may cause data corruption and/or component failure.
警告：在接插线时应关闭探测器的电源。否则会导致数据损坏或组件故障。
