APPLICATION
Th Sundial Y Plan is d sign d to provid ind p nd nt
t mp ratur control of both h ating and dom stic hot wat r
circuits in fully pump d c ntral h ating installations.
Sundial Y Plan satisfi s th minimum standard r quir m nts
of th Building R gulations Part L1 wh n us d in conjunction
with radiator th rmostats and an automatic bypass valv .
For syst ms in dw llings with a floor ar a gr at r than 150m2,
Sundial S Plan Plus must b us d (s 2.3).

Hot Water Only Requirement - On a

DHW only and th pump and boil r ar
switch d on.
Heating Only Requirement - On a
d mand for h at from th room
th rmostat, th valv motor is
n rgis d so that th CH port only is
op n d and th pump and boil r ar
switch d on.
HTG and HW Requirement - Wh n both
th rmostats d mand h at, th valv
ball is position d to allow both ports to
b op n and th pump and boil r
switch d on. Wh n n ith r th rmostat
is d manding h at, th pump and
boil r ar off. Th valv r mains in th
last position of op ration whilst th
mains is switch d on.
