A. Ensure your Power LED is solid ‘Red’, if not refer to Step [2] of ‘Initial setup’.

B. On your compatible device you wish to use, ensure that your Bluetooth is turned on.

C. Open the application and follow the initial setup process, ensuring you allow HM | DC to
access and use Bluetooth on your device.

D. Once initial setup is complete, the Bluetooth connection LED should be solid ‘Blue’.

1Place an analogue locomotive onto the track connected to Circuit ‘1’ of your HM6000.

2Place yourself with the entire layout in front of you, ensure the HM | DC app is open and you have
the ‘Layout’ tab selected.

3Use your finger to drag the speed slider on Circuit ‘1’ from left to right until your loco is moving.
Note the direction of locomotive travel (left or right?).

4Does the locomotive direction match the selected directional button on the ‘Layout’ screen of the
app? If not, then remove the circuit plug from the power track section, turn it over and plug it back
in. Repeat steps [1] - [4] for each of your other circuits; making sure all of your locomotives travel
in the same direction around the circuits, regardless of which way the locomotives are facing.
