Adding Oil
IMPORTANT
Add 0.5ml of oil every 4 to 5 steamings.
Failure to add oil will result in damage to the
locomotive. Use Hornby R8210 LIVE STEAM oil.
DO NOT OVER OIL !!!
Replace oil screw – do not over-tighten.
Remove the locomotive body
Follow steps 1 to 4

Nach 4 bis 5 Betriebszyklen muss jeweils 0,5

Utilisez toujours les gants lorsque vous manipulez

éviter d’endommager le circcuit électronique et les
fi ls qui se trouvent à l’arrière du châssis. Ne serrez
pas trop les vis pendant le remontage.
Utiliza siempre los guantes al manipular y
operar la locomotora. Ten especial cuidado
al separar o cambiar el cuerpo para evitar
daños en la placa electrónica y los cables,
situados en la parte posterior del chasis
de la locomotora. No aprietes
excesivamente los tornillos al volver
a montar el cuerpo.
Benutzen Sie bei Handhabung und Betrieb der
Lokomotive stets die Handschuhe. Beim Aus-
oder Einbau des Gehäuses ist besondere Vorsicht
geboten, um Beschädigung der elektronischen
Leiterplatte und Drähte, die sich auf der
Rückseite des Lokomotiv-Chassis befi nden, zu
vermeiden. Ziehen Sie beim Zusammenbauen
die Schrauben nicht zu fest an.
Always use the gloves when handling and operating
the locomotive. Extra care must be taken when
removing or replacing the body, so as to avoid
damaging the electronic board and wires which
are situated at the rear of the locomotive chassis.
Do not over-tighten screws on re-assembly.
