1. Appliance description
1.1 Intended purpose
This Ultimate Speed UAMM 12 A1 car
massage mat provides a relaxing massage
for the shoulder area, back, hip and thighs.
It can be used both in a car and inside dry
indoor rooms.
This appliance is intended for private use. It
is not suitable for commercial use or in
hospitals.
It is also suitable for use:
• in staff kitchens of shops, offices and
other commercial premises,
• in farm buildings,
• by customers in hotels, motels or similar
accommodation,
• and bed-and-breakfast establishments.

4.2 Special information about this
appliance
Warning! To avoid injuries,
please observe the following
instructions:
• Children younger than three may not use this
appliance because they are unable to react
appropriately to it overheating.
• Children aged between three and eight may use
the appliance only provided the remote control 9
has been previously set up by a parent or
guardian or the child has been adequately
instructed on the safe use of the remote control 9 .
• This appliance may be used by children older
than eight, and by persons who have reduced
physical, sensory or mental ability or are lacking
in experience and/or knowledge, provided they
are supervised or have been instructed in the safe
use of the appliance and have understood the
associated hazards.
• The surfaces of the appliance are liable to be hot.
The appliance may not be used by persons with
impaired sensitivity to heat, nor by other
vulnerable persons who are unable to react
appropriately to it overheating.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
• Unsupervised children may not be permitted to
carry out cleaning or maintenance of the
appliance.
• Always take the mains plug out of its socket before
cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water, and
protect it from splashes and water droplets.
• Do not use the appliance while it is wet.
• When the appliance is not in use it should be
stored as described below:
–Always allow the appliance to cool down
before folding it up.
–While it is in storage, do not allow the appliance
to be excessively compressed or distorted by
objects placed on top of it.
• Frequently check the appliance for signs of
damage or wear. If such signs are observed, or if
the appliance has been used inappropriately or
fails to work, it must be returned to the dealer
before any further use. Contact details can be
found at “Service Centre” on page 10.
Caution! Follow the instructions given
below to prevent material damage:
• Never use scouring, corrosive or abrasive
cleaning materials.
4.3 General information
• Please read these user instructions
carefully before use. They are a
constituent part of the appliance and
must be kept to hand at all times.
• Use the appliance only for the purpose
described (see “1.1 Intended purpose”
on page 3).
• Check that the mains voltage required
(see type plate on the mains adapter) is
compatible with your mains voltage.
• Please note that any claim under the
warranty or for liability will be invalid if
accessories are used that are not
recommended in these user instructions,
or if original spare parts are not used for
repairs. This also applies to repairs
undertaken by unqualified persons. The
contact data can be found in “Service
Centre” on page 10.
• If the appliance should develop a fault
during the warranty period, it may only
be repaired by our Service Centre.
Otherwise all claims under warranty are
null and void.
• Do not use any mains adapter other
than the one supplied.

• Ensure that it is not possible for anyone
to trip over or to get caught up in or step
on the car plug lead or mains adapter
lead.
• The appliance must not be left operating
without supervision. The development of
an odour is usually the first indication of
major damage, such as overheating.
• Never use the appliance in the car while
it is in motion. It may cause a distraction
and endanger traffic safety. If you wish
to change the settings, stop the vehicle.
• If using the appliance for a prolonged
time with power supplied via the
cigarette lighter, take care that the car
battery does not become fully
discharged.
• To avoid overheating, the appliance
must not be operated near to heat
sources or in direct sunlight.
4.4 Protection against electric shock
Warning! The following safety
information is intended to protect
you against electric shock.
• The appliance must not under any
circumstances be used if the appliance
or parts of it is damaged. Have the car
massage mat repaired in such cases by
a qualified technician. The contact data
can be found in “Service Centre” on
page 10.
• Water or other liquids must never be
allowed to enter the appliance. For this
reason:
– never use it outdoors;
– never use it in very humid
environments;
– never place drinks or other liquids on
the appliance;
– always keep the mains adapter 13 or
car lead 12 away from moisture.
• If liquid should enter the appliance,
unplug the power plug 11 immediately
and have the appliance repaired by a
qualified technician. The contact data
can be found in “Service Centre” on
page 10.
• Never pick up the mains adapter 13
when your hands are wet.
• If you are not using the appliance for a
prolonged period of time, unplug the
mains adapter 13 or car lead 12. This is
the only way to ensure the complete
absence of electric power and to protect
against the appliance being switched on
accidentally.
4.5 Road safety
Warning! In order not to
endanger safety on the roads,
please observe the following
points:
• For use in vehicles, care must be taken
not to obstruct safety equipment, in
particular the side airbag.
• If there is a side airbag in the backrest,
the top securing strap 2cannot be used.
• If you have any questions about the
airbag, please consult your car manual
or ask at your car workshop.
• Never use the appliance in the car while
it is in motion. It may cause a distraction
and endanger traffic safety. If you wish
to change the settings, stop the vehicle.
4.6 For the safety of your child
Warning! Ensure that the
packing film does not become a
deadly trap for a child. Packing
film is not a toy.

5. Unpacking and connecting
5.1 Using the massage mat in a car
1. Place the massage mat 1on the car seat.
2. Fasten the massage mat 1carefully with
the securing straps 2.
3. Plug the car lead 12 into the cigarette
lighter or another suitable 12 V
connection.
4. Plug the power plug 11 on the car
lead 12 into the power socket 10.
5.2 Using the massage mat at home
1. Place the massage mat 1on a suitable
chair or armchair.
2. Fasten the massage mat 1carefully with
the securing straps 2.
3. Plug the mains adapter 13 into a mains
socket that complies with the technical data.
4. Plug the power plug 11 on the mains
adapter 13 into the power socket 10.
6. Operation
The remote control has background
illumination. If this does not come on, the
background illumination will be switched on
first when button 5, 6or 7is pressed for the
first time. Only when the background
illumination is on does the button have the
function described below. The background
illumination goes off again after about 5
seconds.
If you press the OFF button 4, the appliance
switches off immediately.
6.1 Switching the appliance on and off
1. To switch the appliance on, press the
ON button 6.
The LCD display 3shows "MODE 0”.
As soon as the appliance is switched on,
the timer will automatically start running
at 30 minutes. The remaining time is
shown in the LCD display 3.
To protect the appliance from being
accidentally left on, it automatically
switches off again after 30 minutes.
2. To switch the appliance off before the
30 minutes has expired, press the OFF
button 4.
6.2 Selecting a programme
There are 8 programmes (MODE 1 – 8)
available altogether. The programmes vary
in their intensity, the area massaged and the
massage rhythm.
1. Press the MODE programme button 5.
The illumination of the remote control will
be activated.
2. Press the MODE programme button 5
again.
The appliance switches to the next
programme and the motors start to work.
The selected programme number is
shown in the LCD display 3.
6.3 Switching the heater on and off
1. Press the heat button 7.
The illumination of the remote control will
be activated.

2. Switch the heater on by pressing the
heat button 7again.
Heat will now be produced from inside
the massage mat.
3. To switch the heater off, press the heat
button 7again.
7. Cleaning and maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the appliance
To ensure your product gives you lasting
service, you should clean it regularly.
Warning! To avoid the danger of
an electric shock or damage:
– Always disconnect the power
supply before cleaning.
– Never immerse the machine in
water.
– Never allow water or cleaning
agent to run into the machine.
Caution! Never use caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents, as they could damage the
parts.
1. Unplug the power plug 11 from the
power socket 10.
2. Clean the massage mat 1with a clothes
brush.
3. If badly soiled, clean the massage mat 1
as well as the remote control 9with a
damp cloth. You could also use a little
mild washing-up liquid.
4. Wipe off with clean water.
5. Do not use the appliance again until it is
fully dry.
7.2 Changing the fuse in the car lead
There is a fuse in the car lead 12 to protect
the car’s electrical system. If there is no
power supply and the car lead 12 stops
working, you should check and, if
applicable, change this fuse.
1. Unscrew the cap on the top of the car
lead 12.
2. Remove the fuse.
3. Insert a new type F3AL 250V fuse.
4. Screw the car lead 12 together again.
8. Disposal
8.1 Appliance
The symbol with the crossed-
out rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the product and all
accessories which are marked with this
symbol. Marked products must not be
disposed of via the regular domestic waste
but must be handed in to a recycling centre
for electrical or electronic appliances.
Recycling helps to reduce the use of raw

materials and to relieve the environment.
You can obtain information about disposal
and the location of your nearest recycling
centre from your local waste management
service, for example, or Yellow Pages.
8.2 Packaging
If you wish to discard the packaging, please
observe the applicable environmental
regulations in your country.
9. HOYER Handel GmbH Warranty
Dear Customer,
You have a warranty on this product which
is valid for 3 years from the date of
purchase. In the event of this product being
defective, you have statutory rights against
the seller of the product. These statutory
rights are not limited by our warranty as set
out below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period begins with the date of
purchase. Please keep the original till receipt
in a safe place. This is required as your
proof of purchase.
If a defect in materials or workmanship
occurs within three years of the date your
product was purchased, we will repair or
replace the product at our discretion at no
charge to you. This service under warranty
assumes that the defective product and the
proof of purchase (till receipt) are submitted
within the three-year period and that a brief
description in writing is provided of what the
defect is and when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the
repaired product or a new one will be sent
back to you. There is no new warranty period
following repair or replacement of the product.
Warranty period and statutory claims
relating to defects
The warranty period is not extended when a
service is provided under warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired parts. Any
damage or defects present at purchase must
be reported immediately the product is
unpacked. Repairs incurred once the
warranty period has expired are
chargeable.
Scope of warranty
The product has been carefully
manufactured in accordance with strict
quality guidelines and was thoroughly
checked before being delivered.
The warranty applies to defective materials
or workmanship. This warranty does not
extend to product parts exposed to normal
wear and tear (and which can therefore be
considered wear parts) or to damage to
fragile parts such as switches, batteries or
parts made of glass.
This warranty is void if the product is
damaged or if it is not used or maintained
properly. All the information in the operating
instructions should be observed precisely to
ensure that the product is used properly.
It is essential to avoid intended uses and
actions which are discouraged or warned
against in the operating instructions.
The product is intended for only private use
and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is void in the event of misuse,
incorrect treatment, use of force or
interference by anyone other than our
authorized service centre.

Ovaj masažni podložak za auto s funkcijom
grijanja Ultimate Speed UAMM 12 A1 služi
za opuštajuću masažu ramenog pojasa,

4.1 Pojašnjenje pojmova

4.2 Posebni naputci za ovaj uređaj
Upozorenje! Kako biste izbjegli

ribaju, nagrizaju ili grebu.
4.3 Opći naputci
• Prije uporabe molimo pažljivo pročitajte
ove upute za uporabu. One su sastavni
dio uređaja i moraju Vam biti dostupne u
svako doba.
• Ovaj uređaj upotrebljavajte samo u
opisanu svrhu namjene (vidi »1.1 Svrha
uporabe« na strani 11).
• Provjerite da potreban mrežni napon
(vidi tipsku pločicu na mrežnom
adapteru) odgovara Vašem mrežnom
naponu.

• Molimo pripazite da svako pravo na
garanciju i naknadu prestaje, ako se
koriste dijelovi opreme koji nisu
preporučeni u ovoj uputi za uporabu ili
ako se kod popravaka isključivo ne
koriste originalni rezervni dijelovi. To
vrijedi i za popravke, koje provode
nekvalificirane osobe. Podatke o
kontaktima naći ćete u »Servisni centar«
na strani 18.
• Kod eventualnih smetnji funkcioniranja
tijekom jamstvenog razdoblja popravak
uređaja smije provoditi isključivo naš
servisni centar. U suprotnom prestaje
svako pravo na garanciju.
• Ne koristite nikakve druge mrežne
adaptere osim onih isporučenih.
• Pripazite da se preko kabla utikača za
auto upaljač, odnosno mrežnog
adaptera nitko ne može spotaknuti, ili da
se netko o njega ne saplete ili ga
nagazi.
• Uređaj se nikad ne smije puštati u pogon
bez nadzora. Veća oštećenja, kao što je
na primjer pregrijavanje, uglavnom su
najavljena pojavom neugodnog mirisa.
• Uređaj nemojte nikada posluživati u
automobilu za vrijeme vožnje. Mogućim
odvraćanjem pozornosti može biti
ugrožena prometna sigurnost. Ako želite
nešto promijeniti na podešavanjima
onda se zaustavite.
• Ako uređaj dulje vrijeme napajate
strujom preko upaljača za cigarete
pazite da pritom ne ispraznite
akumulator automobila.
• Kako bi se spriječilo pregrijavanje
uređaj se ne smije koristiti u blizini izvora
topline ili na izravnom sunčevom svjetlu.
4.4 Zaštita od električnog udara
Upozorenje! Naredni sigurnosni
naputci trebaju zaštititi od
električnog udara.
• Ako su uređaj ili njegovi dijelovi
oštećeni, uređaj nipošto nije dozvoljeno
koristiti. U tom slučaju dajte uređaj
popraviti od strane kvalificiranog
stručnog osoblja. Podatke o kontaktima
naći ćete u »Servisni centar« na
strani 18.
• U uređaj nipošto ne smiju dospjeti voda
ili druge tekućine. Stoga:
– nikada ne koristiti na otvorenom;
– nikada ne koristiti u vrlo vlažnom
okolišu;
– na uređaj nikad nemojte odlagati
napitke ili druge tekućine;
– mrežni adapter 13 odnosno kabel za
napajanje u autu 12 uvijek držite
podalje od vlage.
• Ako ipak tekućina dospije u uređaj,
smjesta izvucite strujni utikač 11 i dajte
da ga popravi kvalificirano stručno
osoblje. Podatke o kontaktima naći ćete
u »Servisni centar« na strani 18.
• Mrežni adapter 13 nikad ne primajte
vlažnim rukama.
• Kada dulje vremena ne koristite ovaj
uređaj, izvucite mrežni adapter 13
odnosno kabel za napajanje u autu 12.
Samo u tom slučaju je uređaj u
potpunosti odvojen od struje i zaštićen
od slučajnog uključivanja.
4.5 Sigurnost u prometu
Upozorenje! Poštujte sljedeće
točke kako ne biste ugrožavali
sigurnost u prometu:
• Kada se koristi u vozilima, mora se
obratiti pozornost na to da se ne
ograniči funkcionalnost sigurnosnih

uređaja, a osobito bočnih zračnih
jastuka.
• Ako se u naslonu za leđa nalazi bočni
Airbag, onda se gornji remen za
učvršćenje 2ne može koristiti.
• Ako imate pitanja u svezi zračnih jastuka
pročitajte uputu za uporabu vašeg
vozila ili se raspitajte u vašoj servisnoj
radionici.
• Uređaj nemojte nikada posluživati u
automobilu za vrijeme vožnje. Mogućim
odvraćanjem pozornosti može biti
ugrožena prometna sigurnost. Ako želite
nešto promijeniti na podešavanjima
onda se zaustavite.
4.6 Za sigurnost Vašeg djeteta
Upozorenje! Pripazite da folija
od ambalaže ne postane
smrtonosna stupica za djecu. Folije
od ambalaže nisu igračka.
5. Vađenje iz ambalaže i priključivanje
5.1 Korištenje masažnog podloška u
automobilu
1. Položite masažni podložak 1na sjedalo
automobila.
2. Pažljivo pričvrstite masažni podložak 1
pomoću traka za pričvršćivanje 2.
3. Utaknite kabel za napajanje u autu 12 u
upaljač za cigarete ili drugi prikladni
12 V priključak.
4. Utaknite strujni utikač 11 kabela u
autu 12 u strujnu utičnicu 10.
5.2 Korištenje masažnog podloška kod
kuće
1. Položite masažni podložak 1na
prikladnu stolicu ili naslonjač.
2. Pažljivo pričvrstite masažni podložak 1
pomoću traka za pričvršćivanje 2.
3. Utaknite mrežni adapter 13 u mrežnu
utičnicu koja odgovara tehničkim
podacima.
4. Utaknite strujni utikač 11 mrežnog
adaptera 13 u strujnu utičnicu 10.
6. Rukovanje
Daljinsko upravljanje ima osvjetljenje
pozadine. Ako ono ne svijetli, s prvim
pritiskom na tipku 5, 6ili 7prvo se uključuje
osvjetljenje pozadine. Tek kad osvjetljenje
pozadine svijetli, tipka ima funkciju opisanu
u nastavku. Nakon oko 5 sekundi ponovno
se gasi osvjetljenje pozadine. Kad pritisnete
tipku za isključivanje 4, uređaj se odmah
isključuje.
6.1 Uključivanje i isključivanje uređaja
1. Uključite uređaj pritiskom na tipku za
uključivanje 6.
Na LCD prikazu 3prikazan je
„MODE 0“.
Čim se uređaj uključi tajmer počinje
automatski raditi kod 30 minuta.
Preostalo vrijeme prikazano je na LCD
prikazu 3.

Rad zaštite uređaja od nehotičnog
trajnog rada on se nakon isteka
30 minuta automatski isključi.
2. Da bi uređaj isključili prije isteka 30 minuta
pritisnite tipku za isključivanje 4.
6.2 Odabir programa
Ukupno je na raspolaganju 8 programa
(MODE 1 – 8). Programi se međusobno
razlikuju po svom intenzitetu, mjestu
aplikacije masaže, kao i po ritmu masiranja.
1. Pritisnite programsku tipku MODE 5.
Osvjetljenje daljinskog upravljanje se
aktivira.
2. Pritisnite ponovo programsku tipku
MODE 5.
Uređaj prelazi na slijedeći program i
motori počinju raditi.
Odabrani broj programa prikazan je na
LCD prikazu 3.
6.3 Uključivanje i isključivanje grijanja
1. Pritisnite tipku grijanja 7.
Osvjetljenje daljinskog upravljanje se
aktivira.
2. Grijanje uključite ponovnim pritiskom na
tipku grijanja 7.
Masažni podložak sada se zagrijava s
unutrašnje strane.
3. Grijanje možete i prije isključiti
ponovnim pritiskom na tipku za
grijanje 7.
7. Čišćenje i popravak
7.1 Čišćenje uređaja
Kako biste dugo uživali u svom uređaju
trebate ga redovito čistiti.
Upozorenje! Kako bi izbjegli
opasnost od električnog udara ili
od ozljeda:
– Prije svakog čišćenja odvojite
uređaj od napajanja strujom.
– Nikada ne uranjajte uređaj u
vodu.
– Ne dozvolite da voda ili sredstvo
za čišćenje dospiju u uređaj.
Oprez! Nemojte nikad koristiti agresivna
sredstva za čišćenje ili ribanje jer se njima
mogu oštetiti dijelovi uređaja.
1. Izvucite strujni utikač 11 iz strujne
utičnice 10.
2. Masažni podložak očistite 1četkom za
odjeću.
3. U slučaju jačeg onečišćenja masažni
podložak 1kao i daljinski upravljač 9
očistite vlažnom krpom. Možete u vodu
dodati i malo sredstva za pranje
posuđa.
4. Obrišite naknadno krpom namočenom u
čistoj vodi.
5. Uređaj ponovno pustite u pogon tek kad
se potpuno osuši.
7.2 Zamjena osigurača kabela u autu
U kabelu za napajanje u autu 12 nalazi se
osigurač koji štiti električnu mrežu
automobila. Ako napajanje strujom preko
kabela u autu 12 više ne funkcionira,
ispitajte, odnosno zamijenite taj osigurač:
1. Odvrnite kapu na vrhu kabela u
autu 12.
2. Izvadite osigurač.
3. Umetnite novi osigurač tipa F3AL 250V.

4. Kabel za napajanje u autu 12 ponovno
navrnite.
8. Zbrinjavanje
8.1 Uređaj
Simbol prekrižene kante za
otpad na kotačima znači da se
u Europskoj Zajednici taj
proizvod mora na poseban
način odstraniti u otpad. To
vrijedi za proizvod kao i za sve ovim
simbolom označene dijelove opreme.
Označeni proizvodi se ne smiju odstranjivati
putem otpada iz kućanstva, nego se moraju
predati na stanici za prihvat električnih i
elektronskih uređaja za reciklažu. Reciklaža
pomaže umanjiti potrošnju sirovina i

Kada želite odstraniti ambalažu pripazite
na odgovarajuće propise vaše zemlje o
zaštiti ljudskog okoliša.

3 godine od datuma kupnje. U slučaju
nedostataka kod proizvoda posjedujete

Garantni uvjeti
Rok garancije počinje s datumom kupnje.

proizvod. Popravkom ili zamjenom
proizvoda period garancije ne počinje teći

Garantni rok i zakonska prava u svezi kvara
Garantni rok ne produžuje se nakon
provedbe garancije. To vrijedi i za
zamijenjene i popravljene dijelove. Ako

oštećenja ili kvarovi potrebno ih je dojaviti

Popravci nakon isteka garantnog roka se
naplaćuju.
Obim garancije
Uređaj je proizveden uz stroge smjernice
kvalitete te je savjesno provjeren prije
isporuke.
Garancija vrijedi za greške u materijalu ili
prilikom proizvodnje. Ova garancija ne
vrijedi za dijelove proizvoda koji su izloženi
normalnom trošenju i koji se time smatraju
potrošnim dijelovima kao ni za oštećenja na
lako lomivim dijelovima, npr. sklopkama,
akumulatorima ili dijelovima izrađenim od
stakla.
Garancija propada, ako se proizvod ošteti,
ako se ne koristi ispravno ili ako je
popravljan. Za ispravnu uporabu proizvoda
potrebno je točno se pridržavati svih u uputi
za uporabu navedenih naputaka.
Svrhe uporabe ili radnje koje se u uputi za
uporabu izričito ne preporučuje ili od kojih
se upozorava, potrebno je obavezno
izbjegavati.
Proizvod je podesan za uporabu u privatne
svrhe, a ne za obrtničku uporabu.
U slučaju neispravnog ili nestručnog
rukovanja, uporabe sile ili radova koje nije
proveo naš ovlašteni servisni centar
garancija se gasi.
