2. Installation Steps
1. Accessories
Step 1. Plan and install the Microinverter
All accessoriesabove are not included in the package and should be purchased
separately.
Note:
1. Install the microinverter and all DCconnections under the PVmodule to avoid direct sunlight, rain exposure,snow buildup,
UV,etc.
2. Leaveat least 2 cm of spacearound the microinverter enclosureto ensure ventilation and heat dissipation.
3. Mounting torque of the 8 mm screwshould be 9 N·m.Pleasedo not over-torque.
The order of Step 1 and Step 2 can be reversed according to your planned needs.

- Use the 3P-ACTrunk Connector Unlock Tool
to unlock the connector upper cover.
1 ) Disassemble the ACTrunk Connector and remove the cable.
2 ) Install the 3P-ACTrunk End Cap at one side of 3P-ACTrunk Cable (Theend of 3P-ACTrunk Cable)
3 ) Install ACend cable on the other side of 3P-ACTrunk Cable (connected to the distribution box)
- Loosen the three screws with screwdriver.
Untighten the cap and remove the cable.

A ) Mark the position of each microinverter on the rail, according to the PVmodule layout.
Step 2. Plan and Build the 3P-ACTrunk Cable
B ) Fix the screw on the rail.
C ) Hang the microinverter on the
screws, and tighten the screws. The silver
cover side of the microinverter should be
facing the panel.
- Insert the 3P-ACTrunk End Cap and screw
the cap back to port, then tighten the cap.
- Unlock the port upper cover, loosen the screws
with screwdriver and remove the extra cable.
(Skipthis step if there is no cable at this side.)
- Plug the upper cover back to the Trunk
connector.

3P-ACTrunk Cable is used to connect the microinverter to distribution box.
A ) Determine how many microinverters you plan to install on each ACbranch and prepare AC Trunk Connectors
accordingly.
B ) Take out segments of ACTrunk Cable as you need to make ACbranch.

Step 5. Connect PV Modules
Step 6. Energize the System
A ) Mount the PVmodules above the
microinverter.
B) Connect the PV modules’ DC cables to the
DC input side of the microinverter.
Note:
1. Tightening torque of the cap: 5.5±0.5 N·m.Pleasedo not over-torque.
2. Torque of locking screw:0.4±0.1 N·m.
3. Do not damage the sealing ring in the 3P-ACTrunk Connector during disassemblyand
assembly.
Step 4. Create an Installation Map
A ) Peel the removable serial number label from
each microinverter.
B) Ax the serial number label to the respective
location on the installation map (pleaserefer
to the appendix).
Note:
1. Makesure that the 3P-ACTrunk Connectors are kept away from any water-channeling
surface.
2. In case you need to remove the microinverter ACcable from 3P-ACTrunk Connector, please
use
the 3P-ACTrunk Port Disconnect Tool and insert the tool into the side of ACSubConnector to
complete the removal.

C ) Repeat the above steps to make all the 3P-ACTrunk Cablesyou need, then lay out the cable on the rail in the suitable
position so that the microinverters can be connected to the Trunk connectors.
Step 3. Complete the ACConnection
Note: Please use DCextension cables.
- Prepare a segment of ACcable with suitable
lengthto connect to the distribution box, with
stripping requirements fulfilled.
- Insert the cable into the cap in a way that
theL1, L2, L3, PEand N lines are in correspond-
ing slots.
- Tighten the screwsand tighten the cap back
to the port.
- Plug the upper cover back to the Trunk
connector.

B ) Connect the AC end cable to the distribution box, and wire it to the local grid network.
A) Turn on the ACbreaker for the branch circuit.
B) Turn on the main AC breaker for the house. Your
system will start to generate power in about two
minutes.
Step 7. Set up Monitoring System
Pleaserefer to the DTU User Manual or DTU Quick Installation
Guide, and Quick Installation Guide for S-milesCloud to install
the DTUand set up monitoring system.
D ) Attach the 3P-ACTrunk Cable to the
mounting rail and fix the cable with tie wraps.
A ) Push the ACSub Connector from
microinverter to the 3P-ACTrunk Connector
until it clicks.
C ) Please plug the 3P-ACTrunk Port Cap in
any vacant ACTrunk Port to make it water and
dust-proof.
