Setup HP2.4G Wireless Keyboard
•Pleasetakeoff the battery coverand then put2AAAalkaline batteriesinthe batterycompartment.Please
notebatteriesarefitting withcorrectelectrode thatshowson the innerside of batterycover.
•Plug inadaptortocomputerUSB port.
•Press “Connect “button toSetup the Keyboardand Adapter(Dongle)connection .

USB adaptorand Keyboardwill automaticallyconnectionafterAdaptorplug intoPCafterfewseconds.
Battery indication
Whenthe Keyboardpoweristurned on:
nFullBatterywhilePowerOn,the Green LEDwouldbe turned ONaround 3secondsthen Off.
nLowBattery, the Red LEDwouldbe turned Onaround 3secondsthen Off.
nExtremelowbattery,therewouldbe no LEDindicatorand the mousewouldn't work.
Whenthe Keyboardisworking and lowbattery situation isdetected,
nIfit isatlowbattery,the Red LEDwouldflashone timespersecond andthe warning duration wouldbe
60 secondswhen the KeyboardisSTOPtyping.
Ifit isat extremelowbattery,the powertothe Keyboardwillshut down.

Troubleshooting
Question: My mouse is not working. What should I do?
Answer: Check if the Adapter(Dongle)isplugged incorrectlytoyourcomputer'sUSB port. Aloose
connection mayresultinthe computernot beingabletodetectthe device.
IfyourKeyboardisconnected toahub ormulti-port USBconnector,unplug the deviceand plug it directlyinto
yourcomputer'sUSB port, ensuring thereisno interferencecaused bythesedevices.
Othersystemdevices, suchasPCcards,maycauseconflictsthatprevent yourKeyboardfromworking
properly. Checkthe settingsof thesedevicesand makeanychangesasnecessary. Reboot yourcomputer
and re-attachthe Keyboard.
Question: The Keyboard pointer is not moving. What should I do?
Answer: Ensureall setup procedureshavebeen followed correctly.If softwareand drivers havealreadybeen
installed, removethese, reboot yourcomputerand re-install.
Ensurethat batteriesarenot out of power. Replacebatteriesif necessary.
Battery Notice:
•Press anybutton towakeup the Keyboardwhilethe Keyboardisinthe standbymode.
