PART I - HP General Hardware Warranty
General
This HP Monitor Hardware Warranty Statement gives you, the customer, express
warranty rights from HP, the manufacturer.
FOR CONSUMER TRANSACTIONS IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND: THE
WARRANTY TERMS CONTAINED IN THIS STATEMENT, EXCEPT TO THE
EXTENT LAWFULLY PERMITTED, DO NOT EXCLUDE, RESTRICT OR MODIFY
AND ARE IN ADDITION TO THE MANDATORY STATUTORY RIGHTS
APPLICABLE TO THE SALE OF THIS PRODUCT TO YOU.
THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY MAY PROVIDE FOR DIFFERENT WARRANTY
RIGHTS. IF SO, YOUR AUTHORIZED HP DEALER OR HP SALES AND SERVICE
OFFICE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH DETAILS.
Warranty repair or replacement
To find out which warranty type is applicable for your monitor, please refer to your
monitor manual.
Hewlett-Packard (HP) warrants this monitor hardware product, or accessory against
defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable warranty period stated
above, commencing from the date of delivery of the product to the end-user
customer. HP does not warrant that the HP hardware will operate uninterrupted or
error free.
Warranty Period Service provided
3 years - unless original end-user customer
has otherwise agreed to a shorter period of
warranty at the time of purchase.
US and Canada: Return to HP or repair authorized center
for 3 years.
B
US and Canada: 3 years second next business day on-
site exchange (direct replacement).

Europe only: 3 years next business day on-site exchange
(swap out).

Rest of the world: On-site service for first year, and
return to an HP or repair authorized center for the fol-

If, during the product warranty period, HP is unable, within a reasonable time, to
repair or replace your product to the condition as warranted, you will be entitled to a
refund (in the amount of the product purchase price) upon prompt return of the
product to your authorized HP dealer or other HP designate. Unless otherwise stated
or agreed upon in writing with HP, all hardware components must be returned for
refund with the entire system process unit.
HP software is covered by the HP Software Product Limited Warranty located in your
HP product manual.
Unless otherwise stated, and to the extent permitted by local law, hardware products
may contain remanufactured parts (equivalent to new in performance) or parts
which may have been subject to prior incidental use. HP may repair or replace
hardware products (i) with products which are equivalent in performance to the
products being repaired or replaced but which may have been subject to prior use, or
(ii) with products which may contain remanufactured parts equivalent to new in
performance or parts which may have been subject to prior incidental use.
Proof of Purchase and Warranty Period
In order to receive service or support for your hardware product for the warranty
period, proof of the original purchase date of the product may be required in order to
establish the delivery date of your product. If the delivery date is not available, either
the purchase date or the manufacturer's date (located on the product) becomes the
beginning of the warranty period.
Limitation of Warranty
Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from: (a) improper or inadequate
maintenance or calibration; (b) software, interfacing, parts or supplies not supplied
by HP; (c) unauthorized repair, maintenance, modification or misuse; (d) operation
outside of the published operating specifications for the product; (e) improper site
preparation or maintenance; or (f) such other exclusions as may be expressly set
forth in this Warranty Statement.
HP MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL,
WITH RESPECT TO THIS PRODUCT.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH
ABOVE.
Limitation of Liability and Remedies
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, THE REMEDIES IN
THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. IN
NO EVENT SHALL HP BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA OR FOR DIRECT,
INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE, WHETHER
BASED ON WARRANTY CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
The foregoing limitation of liability shall not apply in the event that any HP product
sold hereunder is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be defective
and to have directly caused bodily injury, death, or property damage. To the extent
allowed by applicable local law, HP's liability for property damage does not exceed
the greater of $50,000 or the purchase price of the specific product that caused such
damage.

PART II - Year 2000 Warranty
Subject to all of the terms and limitations of the HP Limited Warranty Statement
provided with this HP Product, HP warrants that this HP Product will be able to
accurately process date data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing,
and sequencing) from, into, and between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries,
and the years 1999 and 2000, including leap year calculations, when used in
accordance with the Product documentation provided by HP (including any
instructions for installing patches or upgrades), provided that all other products (e.g.
hardware, software, firmware) used in combination with such HP Product(s)
properly exchange date data with it. The duration of the Year 2000 warranty extends
through January 31, 2001.
Care and Cleaning
To avoid overheating, do not place anything on top of the monitor. Do not let liquid
get on or into the monitor. Use the monitor power management system (on HP
computers) which is a screen saver program or switch the monitor off. Avoid setting
contrast and brightness to their maximum levels for prolonged periods. To prevent
damage to the monitor’s anti-reflective and anti-static screen coating: Switch the
monitor off and remove the power plug. Wet a soft cotton cloth with cleaning
solution and gently wipe the screen. Do not spray cleaner onto the screen as the
cleaner may drip inside the monitor. Dry with a clean, soft cotton cloth. Do not use
cleaning solutions containing fluoride, acids, or alkalis.

Garantie réparation ou remplacement
Pour connaître le type de garantie s’appliquant à votre moniteur, reportez-vous au
manuel fourni avec celui-ci.
Pendant la période de garantie spécifique indiquée plus haut, Hewlett-Packard (HP)
garantit ce moniteur et ses accessoires contre tout défaut matériel ou de main
d’oeuvre à partir de la date de livraison du produit par l’utilisateur final. HP ne
garantit pas qu’aucune panne ou erreur ne surviendra sur le matériel HP.

Si, pendant la période de garantie, HP ne peut réparer le produit défectueux dans un
délai raisonnable selon les termes de la garantie, vous pourrez prétendre à un
remboursement (correspondant au prix d’achat de votre produit) au retour de
celui-ci chez votre revendeur local ou tout autre revendeur agréé HP. Sauf
autorisation expresse écrite de HP, tous les composants matériels doivent être
retournés avec l’unité centrale afin de pouvoir prétendre au remboursement.
Les logiciels HP sont couverts par la garantie logicielle limitée HP se trouvant dans le
manuel du produit HP.
Sauf mentions explicites, dans les limites autorisées par la loi locale en vigueur, du
matériel peut comporter des pièces d’occasion (équivalentes en performance aux
pièces neuves) ou des pièces ayant fait l’objet d’une première utilisation. HP peut
réparer ou remplacer du matériel (i) par des produits équivalents en performance

par des produits équivalents en fonctionnement au produit d’origine dont la
distribution a cessé.
Preuve d’achat et période de garantie
Afin de pouvoir bénéficier des services ou de l’assistance pour votre produit pendant
la période de garantie, vous pouvez être invité à présenter la preuve d’achat du
produit afin de déterminer la date de livraison du produit. Si vous ne l’avez plus, la
date d’acquisition ou la date de fabrication (figurant sur le produit) fera foi comme
début de garantie.
Limite de garantie
La garantie ne couvrira pas les défauts résultant des conditions suivante s: (a)
mauvais entretien du matériel par le clien t; (b) emploi d’un logiciel ou d’une
interface par le client non fournis par HP ; (c) réparations, entretien, modifications
non autorisés ou emploi impropre ; (d) fonctionnement au-delà des conditions
ambiantes spécifiées pour le produit ; (e) mauvaise préparation ou maintenance non
conforme du site d’exploitation ; (f) utilisations dépassant les limites de garantie.
HP N’ASSUME AUCUNE GARANTIE DE QUELQUE NATURE QUE CE SOIT
(ECRITE OU ORALE) ET A QUELQUE TITRE QUE CE SOIT EN RAPPORT AVEC
CE PRODUIT.
DANS LES LIMITES DE LA LOI QUI S’APPLIQUE A VOTRE PAYS, TOUTE

INVOQUEE (GARANTIE, CONTRAT, NEGLIGENCE OU AUTRE).
Les limites de responsabilité précédentes sont invalidées lorsqu’un produit HP vendu
sous cette garantie a été jugé défectueux par un tribunal de la juridiction compétente
et avoir causé directement mort d’homme, des blessures physiques ou des dommages
aux biens d’une personne ; à la condition toutefois, que la responsabilité de HP en cas
de dommages matériels n’excède pas 50 000 dollars ou le prix d’achat du produit à
l’origine de ces dommages.

Sous réserve des présentes conditions de garantie HP fournies avec ce produit HP,
HP garantit que ce produit pourra traiter toutes les données de date (y compris, sans
que cette liste soit limitative, calculer, comparer et séquencer) entre les vingtième et
vingt et unième siècles et les années 1999 et 2000, incluant le caractère bissextile de

Entretien et nettoyage
Pour éviter une surchauffe, ne posez rien sur le moniteur. Ne laissez pas de liquide se
répandre sur le moniteur ou à l’intérieur. Utilisez le système de gestion de l’énergie
(sur les PC HP), à savoir l’économiseur d’écran, ou mettez le moniteur hors tension.
Evitez de régler les niveaux de contraste et de luminosité à leur maximum pendant
des périodes prolongées. Pour éviter d’endommager le revêtement antistatique de
l’écran : mettez le moniteur hors tension et retirez la prise secteur. Humidifiez un
chiffon doux avec la solution de nettoyage et essuyez doucement l’écran. Ne
vaporisez pas de détergent directement sur l’écran, car il pourrait s’introduire dans le
moniteur. Séchez à l’aide d’un chiffon de coton doux et propre. N’utilisez pas de
solutions à base de fluor, d’acides ou d’alcalis.

Si durante el periodo de garantía del producto, HP no pudiera, en un tiempo
razonable, reparar o sustituir su producto en las condiciones establecidas en la
garantía, podrá usted exigir la devolución de un importe (la cantidad del precio de
compra) siempre y cuando devuelva el producto a un distribuidor autorizado por HP
o a otra empresa designada por HP. A menos que se haya acordado o establecido lo
contrario por escrito con HP, se deberán devolver todos los componentes de
hardware para recibir la devolución del importe de la unidad de proceso del sistema
completa.
La Garantía limitada de productos de software HP cubre el software HP que figura en
el manual de su producto HP.
A menos que se indique lo contrario, y en la medida en que esté permitido por la
legislación local, los productos de hardware podrán contener piezas reconstruidas
(cuyo rendimiento es equivalente al de las piezas nuevas) o piezas que se han
sometido anteriormente a un uso casual. HP podrá reparar o sustituir los productos
de hardware (i) por otros productos cuyo rendimiento sea equivalente al de los
productos reparados o sustituidos, pero que se hayan sometido a uso anteriormente,
o (ii) por productos que puedan contener piezas reconstruidas con un rendimiento
equivalente al de las piezas nuevas o piezas que se hayan utilizado anteriormente de
manera casual.
Comprobante de compra y periodo de garantía
Para poder recibir servicio o asistencia para su producto de hardware durante el
periodo de garantía, se le podrá exigir un comprobante de la fecha de compra original
del producto con el fin de determinar la fecha de entrega de su producto. Si la fecha
de entrega no está disponible, el inicio del periodo de garantía será la fecha de
compra o la fecha del fabricante (que aparece en el propio producto).
Limitación de garantía
La garantía no cubre defectos ocasionados por: (a) mantenimiento o calibración
incorrectos o inadecuados; (b) software, interfases, piezas o suministros no
facilitados por HP; (c) reparaciones, mantenimiento o modificaciones no autorizadas,
o uso indebido; (d) funcionamiento no conforme con las especificaciones publicadas
del producto; (e) preparación o mantenimiento inadecuado del lugar de instalación;
o (f) cualquier otra exclusión que pueda estipularse expresamente en esta
Declaración de Garantía.
HP NO CONCEDE NINGUNA OTRA GARANTÍA EXPRESA, YA SEA ESCRITA O
VERBAL, RESPECTO A ESTE PRODUCTO.
EN LA MEDIDA EN QUE ESTÉ PERMITIDO POR LA LEGISLACIÓN LOCAL

INDIRECTOS, ESPECIALES, FORTUITOS O CONSECUENTES RELACIONADOS
CON GARANTÍAS, CONTRATOS, RESPONSABILIDAD EXTRACONTRACTUAL O
CUALQUIER OTRA TEORÍA JURÍDICA.
La anterior limitación de responsabilidad no será aplicable en el supuesto de que un
tribunal de jurisdicción competente determine que un producto HP vendido en
virtud de esta garantía es defectuoso y ha causado directamente lesiones, la muerte o

Sujeto a todos los términos y limitaciones de la Declaración de Garantía Limitada
suministrados con este Producto de HP, HP garantiza que este Producto HP será
capaz de procesar con precisión datos relativos a fechas (lo que incluye a título
enunciativo el cálculo, comparación y secuencia) de, en y entre los siglos veinte y
veintiuno, y los años 1999 y 2000, con inclusión de los cálculos de años bisiestos,
cuando se usen de conformidad con la documentación del producto suministrada por
HP (incluidas cualesquiera instrucciones para instalar parches o mejoras), siempre
que todos los demás productos (es decir, hardware, software y firmware) usados en
combinación con tal/tales Producto/s HP, intercambien adecuadamente datos
relativos a fechas con el mismo. La duración de esta garantía se extiende hasta el 31
de enero del año 2001.
Cuidado y limpieza
Para evitar sobrecalentamiento, no coloque nada sobre el monitor. No deje caer
líquido sobre el monitor ni en su interior. Use el sistema de control de energía del
monitor (en los PCs de HP), que es un programa de protección de pantalla, o apague
el monitor. Evite ajustar los niveles de contraste y luminosidad al máximo durante
periodos prolongados. Para evitar daños al recubrimiento antiestático y
antirreflectante de la pantalla del monitor: Apague el monitor y retire el conector de
alimentación. Con un paño suave humedecido con una solución de limpieza, frote
suavemente la pantalla. No pulverice el líquido de limpieza sobre la pantalla, ya que
pueden caer algunas gotas dentro del monitor. Seque la pantalla con un paño suave y
limpio. No utilice soluciones de limpieza que contengan fluoruros, ácidos o álcalis.

Esta declaração de garantia de hardware Monitor da HP dá a você, o cliente, direitos
expressos de garantia da HP, o fabricante.
PARA AS TRANSAÇÕES COMERCIAIS NA AUSTRÁLIA E NA NOVA ZELÂNDIA: OS
TERMOS DE GARANTIA CONTIDOS NESTA DECLARAÇÃO, EXCETO PARA A
EXTENSÃO PERMITIDA PELA LEI, NÃO EXCLUEM, RESTRINGEM OU
MODIFICAM E ESTÃO EM ADIÇÃO AOS DIREITOS ESTATUCIONAIS

Garantia de reparo ou substituição
Para saber o tipo de garantia aplicável ao seu monitor, consulte o manual do monitor.
A Hewlett-Packard (HP) garante este produto de hardware Monitor ou acessórios
contra defeitos nos materiais e na mão-de-obra pelo período de garantia aplicável
declarado acima, a partir da data de entrega do produto ao cliente usuário final.
A HP não garante que o hardware HP funcionará ininterruptamente ou livre de erros.

Se, durante o período de garantia do produto, a HP não for capaz de, em um período
de tempo razoável, reparar ou devolver o produto à condição garantida, você passará
a ter direito a um reembolso (no valor do preço de compra do produto) mediante a
devolução imediata do produto a um revendedor autorizado ou outro representante
da HP. A não ser que declarado ou acordado o contrário na documentação HP, todos
os componentes de hardware devem ser devolvidos para reembolso de todo o
sistema de processamento.
O software HP está coberto pela Garantia Limitada de Produto de Software HP,
localizado no manual HP do produto.
A não ser que declarado o contrário, e até a extensão permitida pela lei, os produtos
de hardware pode conter peças recondicionadas (equivalentes a novas em
desempenho) ou peças que tenham sido sujeitadas a uso incidental. A HP pode
reparar ou substituir produtos de hardware (i) por produtos equivalentes em
desempenho aos produtos sendo reparados ou substituídos, mas que podem ter tido
sujeitados a uso anterior, ou (ii) por produtos que contém peças recondicionadas,
equivalentes a novas em desempenho ou peças que podem ter sido sujeitadas a uso
incidental.
Prova de compra e período de garantia
Para receber serviço e suporte para seu produto de hardware durante o período de
garantia, pode ser exigida a prova da data de compra original do produto para poder
estabelecer a data de entrega do produto. Se a data de entrega não estiver disponível,
a data da compra ou a data do fabricante (localizado no produto) passa a ser o início
do período de garantia.
Limitação de garantia
A garantia não se aplica a defeitos resultantes de: (a) manutenção ou calibração
imprópria ou inadequada; (b) software, interfaces, peças e suprimentos não
fornecidos pela HP; (c) reparo, manutenção e modificação não autorizados ou uso
errado; (d) operação fora das especificações de operação para o produto; (e)
preparação ou manutenção inadequada do local ou (f) outras exclusões
expressamente determinadas na Declaração de Garantia.
A HP NÃO DÁ NENHUMA OUTRA GARANTIA EXPRESSA, ESCRITA OU ORAL, A
RESPEITO DESTE PRODUTO.
PELA EXTENSÃO PERMITIDA PELA LEI LOCAL APLICÁVEL, QUALQUER
GARANTIA OU CONDIÇÃO IMPLÍCITAS DE COMÉRCIO OU ADEQUAÇÃO A UM
PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR ESTÁ LIMITADA À DURAÇÃO DA GARANTIA
EXPRESSA ESTABELECIDA ACIMA.
Limitação de responsabilidade e soluções
PELA EXTENSÃO PERMITIDA PELA LEI LOCAL APLICÁVEL, AS SOLUÇÕES
NESTA DECLARAÇÃO DE GARANTIA SÃO SUAS ÚNICAS E EXCLUSIVAS
SOLUÇÕES. EM NENHUMA CIRCUNSTÂNCIA, A HP É RESPONSÁVEL POR
PERDA DE DADOS OU POR QUALQUER DANO DIRETO, INDIRETO, ESPECIAL,
INCIDENTAL OU CONSEQÜENCIAL, QUER BASEADO EM GARANTIA,
CONTRATO, ATO LÍCITO OU QUALQUER OUTRA TEORIA LEGAL.
Essas limitações de responsabilidades não devem se aplicar caso um tribunal
competente comprove que qualquer produto HP vendido esteja com defeito ou que
tenha causado danos corporais ou à propriedade. Até a extensão permitida pela lei
local, a responsabilidade da HP por danos à propriedade não deve exceder $50.000
ou o preço de compra do produto específico que causou tal dano.

PARTE II – Garantia para o Ano 2000
Sujeita a todos os termos e limitações da Declaração de Garantia Limitada HP
fornecidos com este Produto HP, a HP garante que este Produto HP será capaz de
processar precisamente dados relacionados à data (incluindo cálculo, comparação e
seqüenciação, mas não se limitando a isso) entre os séculos XX e XXI, e os anos 1999
e 2000, incluindo cálculos de transição repentina de anos, quando usado de acordo
com a documentação do Produto fornecida pela HP (incluindo quaisquer instruções
para a instalação de patches ou atualizações), sendo que todos os outros produtos
(por exemplo, hardware, software, firmware) usados em combinação com este
Produto HP troca dados relativos à data adequadamente com ele. A duração da
garantia Ano 2000 se estende até 31 de janeiro de 2001.
Cuidados e limpeza
Para evitar o superaquecimento, não coloque nenhum objeto na parte superior do
monitor. Não derrame líquidos dentro do monitor. Use o sistema de gerenciamento
de energia (em computadores HP), que é um protetor de tela, ou desligue o monitor.
Evite configurar contraste e brilho em seus níveis máximos por períodos de tempo
prolongados. Para evitar danos à cobertura de tela anti-estática e anti-reflexiva do
monitor: Desligue o monitor e remova o plugue de alimentação. Umedeça um pano
de algodão macio com a solução de limpeza e limpe a tela suavemente. Não pulverize
o limpador na tela, pois ele pode pingar no monitor. Seque com um pano de algodão
macio e limpo. Não use soluções de limpeza que contenham flúor, ácidos ou álcalis.

BAGIAN I - Garansi Perangkat Keras HP
Umum
Pernyataan Garansi Perangkat Keras Monitor HP ini memberikan garansi dari produsen
yaitu HP kepada konsumen.
UNTUK KONSUMEN DI AUSTRALIA DAN SELANDIA BARU: PASAL-PASAL
GARANSI YANG ADA DI DALAM PERNYATAAN INI, SEJAUH TIDAK
MELANGGAR HUKUM, TIDAK TERKECUALI, MEMBATASI ATAU MENGUBAH
DAN SEBAGAI TAMBAHAN TERHADAP HAK MANDATARIS MENURUT
UNDANG-UNDANG YANG BERLAKU PADA PENJUALAN PRODUK INI.
HUKUM DI NEGARA ANDA MUNGKIN MEMBERIKAN HAK GARANSI YANG
BERBEDA. JIKA DEMIKIAN, PENYALUR HP RESMI ATAU KANTOR
PENJUALAN DAN PELAYANAN HP DAPAT MEMBERIKAN KETERANGAN
LENGKAP.
Garansi perbaikan atau penggantian
Untuk mengetahui garansi yang berlaku untuk monitor Anda, lihat di buku petunjuk
monitor Anda.
Hewlett-Packard (HP) memberikan garansi untuk produk perangkat keras monitor ini dan
perlengkapannya dari kerusakan bahan dan pengerjaan dalam jangka waktu garansi seperti
yang disebutkan di atas, dimulai dari tanggal pengiriman produk kepada konsumen.
HP tidak menjamin bahwa perangkat keras HP selalu beroperasi tanpa gangguan atau bebas
kesalahan sama sekali.
Jika selama masa garansi, dalam jangka waktu yang masuk akal, HP tidak dapat
memperbaiki atau mengganti produk Anda seperti kondisi yang dijamin, Anda berhak
mendapatkan penggantian uang (sejumlah harga pembelian produk) pada saat
pengembalian produk kepada penyalur resmi HP atau penyalur HP lain yang ditunjuk.
Kecuali dinyatakan lain atau sudah disepakati sebelumnya secara tertulis dengan HP,
semua komponen perangkat keras beserta seluruh unit sistem pemrosesan harus
dikembalikan untuk mendapatkan penggantian uang.
Masa Garansi Layanan yang diberikan
3 tahun - kecuali jika pelanggan
sudah setuju dengan masa garansi
yang lebih pendek pada saat pem-

ke HP atau pada pusat perbaikan resmi HP

Perangkat lunak HP dilindungi oleh Garansi Terbatas Produk Perangkat Lunak HP yang
ada di buku petunjuk produk HP.
Kecuali dinyatakan lain, dan sejauh tidak melanggar hukum, produk perangkat keras
mungkin berisi suku cadang yang direproduksi (kinerjanya sama dengan produk baru) atau
suku cadang yang sudah pernah dipakai. HP diperbolehkan memperbaiki atau mengganti
produk perangkat keras (i) dengan produk yang sama kinerjanya dengan produk yang
sedang diperbaiki atau diganti tetapi mungkin sudah pernah dipakai, atau (ii) dengan
produk yang mungkin didalamnya ada suku cadang yang direproduksi yang kinerjanya
sama dengan produk baru atau suku cadang yang pernah dipakai sebelumnya.
Bukti Pembelian dan Masa Garansi
Untuk mendapatkan layanan atau dukungan terhadap produk perangkat keras selama masa
garansi, bukti asli tanggal pembelian produk akan diperlukan untuk melihat tanggal
pengiriman produk. Jika tanggal pengiriman tidak tersedia, maka tanggal pembelian atau
tanggal pembuatan (terdapat pada produk) menjadi awal masa garansi.
Pembatasan Garansi
Garansi tidak berlaku untuk kerusakan yang disebabkan: (a) perawatan yang salah atau
kalibrasi; (b) perangkat lunak, antarmuka, suku cadang atau perlengkapan bukan dari HP;
(c) perbaikan, perawatan tidak resmi, modifikasi atau salah pemakaian; (d) pengoperasian
di luar spesifikasi pengoperasian produk; (e) salah persiapan atau perawatan di tempat; atau
(f) pengecualian-pengecualian lain yang dimuat pada Pernyataan Garansi ini.
HP TIDAK MEMBUAT GARANSI LAIN, BAIK TERTULIS MAUPUN LISAN,
UNTUK PRODUK INI.
SEJAUH TIDAK MELANGGAR HUKUM, GARANSI BARANG SIAP JUAL ATAU
UNTUK KECOCOKAN PEMAKAIANNYA DIBATASI MASA GARANSI SEPERTI
DIMUAT DI ATAS.
Pembatasan Pertanggungan dan Hak
SEJAUH TIDAK MELANGGAR HUKUM, HAK PADA PERNYATAAN GARANSI
INI ADALAH HAK EKSKLUSIF ANDA SATU-SATUNYA. HP TIDAK
BERTANGGUNGJAWAB ATAS HILANGNYA DATA ATAU KERUSAKAN BAIK
KERUSAKAN LANGSUNG, TIDAK LANGSUNG, SPESIAL, DISENGAJA ATAU
TIDAK, BERDASARKAN KONTRAK GARANSI, PERDATA, ATAU TEORI HUKUM
LAIN APAPUN.
Pembatasan pertanggungan terdahulu tidak berlaku bila produk HP yang dijual di bawah ini
dinyatakan rusak oleh pengadilan yang sah dan secara langsung menyebabkan luka fisik,
kematian atau kerusakan properti. Sejauh tidak melanggar hukum, pertanggungan HP
untuk kerusakan properti tidak melebihi $ 50.000 atau harga pembelian produk tertentu
yang menyebabkan kerusakan tersebut.
BAGIAN II - Garansi Tahun 2000
Tidak terlepas dari pasal-pasal dan pembatasan-pembatasan yang ada di Pernyataan
Garansi Terbatas HP yang disertakan beserta Produk HP, HP menjamin bahwa Produk HP
ini mampu secara akurat memproses data tanggal (termasuk, tidak terkecuali dalam
melakukan perhitungan, perbandingan, dan pengurutan) dari, ke, dan antara abad dua puluh
dan dua puluh satu, dan tahun 1999 dan 2000, termasuk kalkulasi tahun kabisat, jika
digunakan sesuai dengan dokumentasi Produk dari HP (termasuk petunjuk instalasi atau
penambahan), dengan syarat produk-produk lain (seperti perangkat keras, perangkat lunak)
yang dikombinasikan penggunaannya dengan Produk-Produk HP saling bertukar data
tanggal. Masa garansi Tahun 2000 berlaku sampai 31 Januari 2001.
