NOTA:
El diseño de los botones está basado en el modelo típico y podría ser ligeramente
diferente del modelo real que se compró. La forma real prevalecerá.
Todas las funciones descritas son realizadas por la unidad. Si la unidad no dispone de
esta función, no se producirá la operación correspondiente al pulsar el botón relativo de
en el mando a distancia.
Cuando hay una gran diferencia entre la ilustración del mando a distancia y la
descripción de la función que aparece en el manual de usuario, la descripción del
manual es la que prevalece.

Antes de comenzar a usar su nuevo aire acondicionado, asegúrese de familiarizarse con el
mando a distancia. A continuación se presenta una breve introducción al propio mando a
distancia. Para obtener instrucciones sobre cómo utilizar el aire acondicionado, consulte la
sección Cómo usar las funciones básicas/avanzadas de este manual.
NOTA：Por favor, no seleccione el modo HEAT si la máquina que compró es sólo de
refrigeración. El modo de calefacción no está soportado por el aparato de refrigeración

NOTA ESPECIAL
CONSEJOS PARA USAR EL MANDO A
DISTANCIA
El mando a distancia debe utilizarse a
menos de 8 metros del aparato.
La unidad emitirá un pitido cuando se reciba
la señal remota.
Las cortinas, otros materiales y la luz solar
directa pueden interferir con el receptor de
señales infrarrojas.
Retire las pilas si no va a utilizar el mando a
distancia durante más de 2 meses. Evite
que cualquier líquido caiga en el mando a
distancia. No exponga el mando a distancia
a la luz solar directa ni al calor.
INSERTAR Y CAMBIAR LAS PILAS
Tu unidad de aire acondicionado funciona con
baterías AAA. Ponga en el mando las baterías
antes de usar:
1. Retire la cubierta posterior del mando a distancia
dejando en el exterior el compartimiento de la
batería.
2. Inserte las pilas, prestando atención a que los
extremos (+) y (-) de las pilas coincidan con los
símbolos dentro del compartimento de las pilas.
3. Coloque de nuevo su cubierta.
SOPORTE DE INSTALACIÓN DEL MANDO A DISTANCIA
El mando a distancia se puede fijar en la pared o de pie
utilizando un soporte para el mismo.
(pieza opcional, no suministrada con el equipo).
Antes de instalar el mando a distancia, compruebe lo
siguiente:
1. Que el aire acondicionado reciba la señal del mando.
2. Instale el soporte con dos tornillos.
3. Ponga el mando a distancia en el soporte.
NOTAS PARA LA BATERÍA
Para un uso óptimo de su rendimiento:
DISPOSICIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
No deseche las pilas como residuos municipales no
clasificados. Refiérase a las leyes locales para la
eliminación adecuada de las baterías.
Los diseños de botones de su unidad pueden
diferenciarse ligeramente del ejemplo
mostrado.
Si la unidad interior no tiene una función en
particular, al pulsar el botón de esa función en
el mando a distancia no tendrá ningún efecto.
No mezcle pilas nuevas y viejas, ni pilas de
diferentes tipos.
No deje las pilas en el mando a distancia, si lo hace,
no planee usar el dispositivo durante más de 2
meses.

NOTA: Al ajustar las funciones TIMER ON
o TIMER OFF, hasta 10 horas, el tiempo
aumentará en incrementos de 30 minutos
con cada pulsación. Después de 10 horas
y hasta 24 horas, aumentará en
incrementos de 1 hora. El temporizador
volverá a cero después de 24 horas.
Puede desactivar cualquiera de las dos
funciones ajustando su temporizador a
"0.0h ".

Su unidad de aire acondicionado tiene dos
funciones relacionadas con el temporizador:
TIMER ON- fija la cantidad de temporizador
después del cual la unidad se encenderá
automáticamente.
TIMER OFF- establece la cantidad de tiempo
después del cual la unidad se apagará
automáticamente.

La función TIMER ON le permite establecer un
período de tiempo después del cual la unidad se
encenderá automáticamente, como cuando
regrese del trabajo.

Ajuste de la función TIMER
1. Pulse el botón Temporizador, el indicador
Temporizador encendido " " se visualiza y
parpadea. De forma predeterminada, en la
pantalla aparecerá el último período de
tiempo configurado y una "h" (indicando las
horas).
Nota: Este número indica la cantidad de
tiempo a partir del tiempo actual, que desea
que la unidad se encienda.
Por ejemplo, si ajusta TEMPORIZADOR
ENCENDIDO durante 2.5 horas, aparecerá
"2.5h " en la pantalla y la unidad se
encenderá después de 2.5 horas.
1. Presiona el botón Timer y el indicador del
Timer off " " mostrará unos parpadeos.
Por defecto, el último período de tiempo
ajustado aparecerá una "h" (indicando horas)
en la pantalla.
Nota: Este número indica la cantidad de
tiempo después del tiempo actual que desea
que la unidad se apague.
Por ejemplo, si ajusta TIMER OFF durante
5 horas, aparecerá " 5.0h " en la pantalla y la
unidad se apagará después de 5 horas.

Ajuste ambos TIMER ON y TIMER OFF al mismo tiempo
Tenga en cuenta que los períodos de tiempo configurados para ambas funciones se
refieren a las horas posteriores a la hora actual. Por ejemplo, digamos que la hora actual es
1:00 PM, y usted desea que la unidad se encienda automáticamente a las 7:00 PM. Usted
desea que opere por 2 horas, luego se apaga automáticamente a las 9:00 PM.

Cómo usar las funciones avanzadas Cómo usar las funciones Avanzadas
La función TURBO hace que la unidad trabaje
muy duro para alcanzar su temperatura actual
en el menor tiempo posible.
Cuando usted selecciona la función TURBO en
el modo FRÍO, la unidad soplará aire frío con el
ajuste de viento más fuerte para activar el
proceso de enfriamiento.
Cuando usted selecciona la función TURBO en
el modo HEAT, para las unidades con
elementos de calefacción eléctricos, el
calentador eléctrico se activará y pondrá en
marcha el proceso de calefacción.
Las bacterias transportadas por el aire pueden
crecer en la humedad que se condensa
alrededor del intercambiador de calor en
la unidad. Con el uso regular, la mayor parte de
esta humedad se evapora de la unidad.
Cuando se activa la función AUTO LIMPIEZA, la
unidad se limpia automáticamente. Después
que la unidad se apagará automáticamente.
Puedes usar AUTO LIMPIEZA todas las veces
que quieras.
Nota: Sólo puede activar esta función

Mantenga pulsado el botón de velocidad del
ventilador durante 2 segundos
para activar o cancelar el modo silencioso.
Debido a la baja frecuencia de funcionamiento del
compresor, puede resultar en una insuficiente
capacidad de enfriamiento y calentamiento.

Se utiliza para detener o iniciar el movimiento
horizontal de las lamas o para ajustar la dirección
deseada del flujo de aire hacia arriba/hacia abajo. La
rejilla cambia 6 grados de ángulo en cada presión. Si
sigue presionando durante más de 2 segundos, la
lámina se balanceará hacia arriba y hacia abajo
automáticamente.
Se utiliza para detener o iniciar el movimiento de la
rejilla vertical y ajustar la dirección del flujo de aire
izquierda/derecha deseada. La rejilla vertical cambia 6
grados de ángulo para cada prensa. Si sigue pulsando
durante más de 2 segundos, se activa la función de
oscilación automática vertical de la lámina.
Cuando el aire acondicionado funciona en
modo de calefacción con la temperatura
ajustada de 17ºC, pulse el botón Temp
dos veces en un segundo para activar la
función de calefacción de 8 grados. La
unidad funcionará a una temperatura de
ajuste de 8ºC. La pantalla de la unidad
interior muestra "FP".

bloquear o desbloquear el teclado.

La función Follow me permite que el mando
a distancia mida la temperatura en su
posición actual y envíe esta señal al aire
acondicionado cada 3 minutos en intervalos
de 3 minutos. Cuando utilice los modos
AUTO, COOL o HEAT, la medición de la
temperatura ambiente desde el mando a
distancia (en lugar de desde la propia unidad
interior) permitirá que el aire acondicionado
optimice la temperatura a su alrededor y
garantice el máximo confort.

Nota: La función SLEEP no se podrá
usar bajo el modo SLEEP o DRY
La función SLEEP se utiliza para disminuir el uso
de energía mientras duerme (y no necesita los
mismos ajustes de temperatura para permanecer
cómodo). Esta función sólo se puede activar a
través del mando a distancia. Para más detalles,
véase operación sleep in en el MANUAL DE
USUARIO.
NOTA: Esta función sólo será aplicable
bajo el modo COOL.
Se utiliza para entrar en el modo de ahorro de
energía. En el modo de refrigeración, pulse este
botón, el mando a distancia ajustará
automáticamente la temperatura a 24ºC, la
velocidad del ventilador de Auto para ahorrar
energía (pero sólo en el modo de refrigeración).

24OC, pulse el botón ECO, la velocidad del
ventilador cambiará a Auto, la temperatura
ajustada permanecerá inalterada.
NOTA:
Presionando el botón ECO, o modificando el

menos de 24ºC se detendrá la operación ECO.
En funcionamiento ECO, la temperatura
ajustada debe ser igual o superior a 24°C.

nuevo para detenerlo.

temperatura, el nivel de velocidad del
ventilador y la función de reposo (si está
activada).
Si pulsa durante más de 2 segundos, el
sistema restablecerá automáticamente los
ajustes de funcionamiento actuales,
incluyendo el modo de funcionamiento y la
temperatura, velocidad del ventilador y la
función de reposo (si está activado).

TIPS FOR USING REMOTE CONTROL

AAA batteries. Put the batteries in the
remote control before use:
1. Remove the back cover from the remote
control, exposing the battery compartment.
2. Insert the batteries, paying attention to
match up the (+) and (-) ends of the
batteries with the symbols inside the
battery compartment.
3. Install the back cover on.

How To Use The Advanced Functions How To Use The Advanced Functions
The TURBO function makes the unit work
extra hard to reach your present temperature
in the shortest amount of time possible.
When you select TURBO feature in COOL
mode, the unit will blow cool air with
strongest wind setting to jump-start the
cooling process.
When you select TURBO feature in HEAT
mode, for units with Electric heat elements,
the Electric Heater will activate and
jump-start the heating process.
Airborne bacteria can grow in the moisture
that condenses around heat exchanger in
the unit. With regular use, most of this
moisture is evaporated from the unit.
When the SELF CLEAN feature is activated,
your unit will clean itself automatically. After
that, the unit will turn off automatically.
You can use SELF CLEAN as often as you like.
Note: You can only activate this function
in COOL or DRY mode.
