Your AIR-FLOW®S2 is a combination of an air polishing and ultrasonic unit.
This unit is for use in dentistry with Hu-Friedy & EMS Air-Flow®systems.
This product functions with the powders and the systems provided by Hu-Friedy & EMS.
The confinement of the powder by a water jet makes it possible to steer the water jet with great
precision and thus ensures a pleasant treatment for your patient.
This product removes dental plaque, soft deposits and surface stains from pits, grooves, interproximal
spaces or smooth surfaces of the teeth.
It is also recommended for the following cleaning procedures:
• Plaque removal for placement of sealants
• Surface preparation prior to bonding / cementation of inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers
• Surface preparation prior to placing composite restorations
• Effective plaque and stain removal for orthodontic patients
• Cleaning prior to bonding ortho brackets
• Clean implant fixture prior to loading
• Stain removal for shade determination
• Plaque removal prior to fluoride treatment
• Plaque and stain removal prior to whitening procedure.

Votre AIR-FLOW®S2 est la combinaison entre un aéropolisseur et un appareil à ultrasons.
Cet appareil est utilisé en dentisterie avec les systèmes Air-Flow®Hu-Friedy & EMS.
Ce produit fonctionne avec les poudres et les systèmes fournis par Hu-Friedy & EMS.
Le confinement de la poudre par un jet d’eau permet d’obtenir une direction précise du jet et, par
conséquent, un traitement agréable pour votre patient.
Ce produit permet l’élimination de la plaque dentaire, des dépôts mous et des colorations, présents
sur les faces visibles des dents, des sillons ou des espaces proximaux.
Il est également recommandé pour le nettoyage des:
• Puits et fissures avant pose de sealant
• Surfaces avant pose d’inlays ou de facettes
• Surfaces avant obturation avec des composites
• Couronnes et des bridges avant leur pose
• Bagues et des brackets
• Cols et des têtes d’implants
• Surfaces dentaires avant la détermination de la teinte
• Surfaces dentaires avant l’application topique de fluor
• Surfaces dentaires avant le blanchiment.

This unit is for use in dentistry with Hu-Friedy & EMS Piezon® systems.
Hu-Friedy & EMS supplies ultrasonic instruments for the following indications:
• Removal of supragingival calculus
• Removal of subgingival calculus
• Periodontal treatment
• Preparation of approximal cavities
• Luting tooth-shaded inlays and onlays with highly thixotropic, dual-curing cements
• Removal of crowns, bridges, inlays and posts as well as condensing gutta-percha.
