Install batteries (automatic startup)
Open the battery cover on the back of the scale and install four AAA batteries, and
then close the battery cover. The scale will automatically power on and display
on the screen. Once stably placed on the floor, the scale will display on
the screen.
When the battery is low, the scale will display on the screen, indicating that
the batteries need to be replaced.

Download and install the app
To download and install the Huawei Health app, scan the QR code
on the right, or search for Huawei Health in AppGallery or other app
stores.
Pairing and connection
1. Open the
Huawei Health
app and go to the
Me
screen.
2. Touch
Add
and select
Body fat scales
.
3. Select
HUAWEI Body Fat Scale
from the list and follow the onscreen instructions
to pair the scale with the Huawei Health app.

Set up personal information
Complete personal information:
After successfully pairing the scale, the Huawei Health app will prompt you to
complete your personal information. In this case, touch the message prompt and
follow the onscreen instructions to fill in your personal information, and then touch
Done
.
Please fill in your gender, date of birth, height, and weight, as the health data
measured by the scale is directly related to your input data.
Add/Remove members:
• To add a member, go to Me > My data > Weight and touch your profile picture
icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Touch Manage users, touch
Add, and follow the onscreen instructions to fill in the member information.
Touch in the upper right corner of the screen to save the settings.
• To remove a member, go to the Manage users screen and select the member's
nickname, then touch Delete user.

Start measuring
• Place the scale on a solid flat surface. Avoid
placing it on soft or uneven surfaces (such
as on mats or carpets) to ensure the
accuracy of the measurement.
• When measuring, please wear thin clothing
and stand on the scale bare-footed.
• If possible, try to measure at the same time,
under the same circumstances each day.
Online measurements:
1. Go to the app's device screen and touch
Start
measurement
.
2. Step onto the scale in an upright position.
• Once the reading is complete, the weight value
will blink 3 times to finalize the measurement.
• Measuring other health data: After your weight
is measured, do not step off the scale. The
scale will scroll on the screen and
proceed to measure your body fat percentage.
When the display alternates between your
weight and body fat percentage, the
measurement is complete.

Offline measurements:
Once you have performed an online measurement, the scale can measure your
weight and body fat percentage even when it is not connected to the app. The
measurement data will sync automatically the next the scale connects to the app.
• If the same personal information was entered into two different phones
and both were measured online, the scale will display after an
offline measurement.
• If two people with a weight difference of less than 2 KG use the same
scale, and one person performs an offline measurement, the scale will
display .

View history
You can view measurement history data in the Huawei Health app by performing the
following steps:
• Go to My data > Weight and touch your profile picture icon in the upper
right corner of the screen to select a member to view the historical graph of the
member's weight, body fat, muscle mass, and other data. You can also view

the changes of each indicator by day, week, month, and year.
• Go to My data > Weight > History to view historical data. Select an entry to
view the detailed information and physical reports for each indicator.

Smart power-off
• After displaying , the scale will automatically enter Standby mode in
approximately 30 seconds of being idle.
• Once a measurement is complete, the scale will alternately display your weight
and body fat percentage before automatically returning to Standby mode.
• In addition, if the scale remains idle for a long period of time after a
measurement, it will also automatically disable its Bluetooth.

Safety information
Before you use the device, read the following precautions carefully to ensure optimal
product performance and to avoid danger or violation of laws and regulations.
Electronic devices
Do not use this device in areas where the use of wireless devices is prohibited, as it
may interfere with other devices or present other hazards.
Interference with medical equipment
•
Follow rules and regulations set forth by hospitals and health care facilities. Do
not use your device where prohibited.
•
The device generates radio waves which may affect the normal operation of
implantable medical devices or personal medical equipment such as
pacemakers, cochlear implants, and hearing aids. When using the device,
maintain a distance of at least 15 cm from such implanted medical devices.
Potentially explosive areas
•
Do not use your device where flammables or explosives are stored (in a gas
station, oil depot, or chemical plant, for example). Using your device in these
environments increases the risk of explosion or fire. Follow the instructions
indicated in text or symbols.
•
Do not store or transport your device in containers with flammable liquids,
gases, or explosives.
Battery safety
•
Remove the battery if the device has not been used over 3 months to avoid
battery leakage, which could be harmful to the human body and cause
damage to the device.
•
If the battery displays color changes, deformation, overheating, stop using the
device and replace the battery.
•
Do not attempt to burn the battery as it may explode.

Dispose of the battery in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of
the battery in normal household waste. Improper battery disposal is dangerous
and could cause an explosion.
•
Keep the battery out of reach of children and pets to prevent the risk of serious
injury or battery explosion.
•
Do not drop, squeeze, or pierce the battery. If excessive pressure is applied to
the battery, the battery may short circuit or overheat.
•
Do not use a damaged battery or charger.
Usage environment
•
Avoid dusty, damp, or dirty environments. Avoid magnetic fields. Using the
device in these environments may result in circuit malfunctions.
•
Use your device where the ambient temperature is between 5°C and 40°C.
Store your device and accessories where the ambient temperature is between
0°C and 50°C. Extreme heat or cold may damage the device.
•
Keep your device away from fire or heat sources, such as electric heaters,
ovens, microwave ovens, stoves, or water heaters.
•
Keep the device out of reach of children and pets to prevent them from
accidentally swallowing and choking on the small parts of the device. Biting or
swallowing the device could lead to serious injury.
•
Do not use the device on a wet or slippery surface.
•
Do not use this device when your body or feet are wet, so as to prevent
accidental slipping, inaccurate data measurement, or damage to the device.
Maintenance
•
Keep the device and its accessories dry. Do not use external heat sources,
such as microwave ovens or hair dryers to dry the device.
•
Do not expose the device and its accessories to extreme temperatures as this
could cause the device to malfunction, catch fire, or even explode.

•
Protect your device and accessories from severe impacts or vibrations to
avoid damaging the device and its accessories and causing the device to
malfunction.
•
Before you clean or maintain the device, stop using it, close all related apps,
and disconnect all cables.
•
Do not use strong chemicals, detergents, or other chemical agents to clean
the device or its accessories. Use a clean, soft, and dry cloth to clean the
device and its accessories.
•
Do not dismantle the device or accessories. This will void the warranty and
release the manufacturer from liability for damage. In case of any device
malfunction, please contact an authorized service center.
•
If the display is damaged due to external impact, do not touch or try to remove
the damaged glass. Stop using the device and contact an authorized
Customer Service Center for assistance.
Disposal and recycling information
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature
or packaging reminds you that all electronic products and batteries must
be taken to separate waste collection points at the end of their working
lives; they must not be disposed of in the normal waste stream with
household garbage. It is the responsibility of the user to dispose of the
equipment using a designated collection point or service for separate
recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries
according to local laws.
Proper collection and recycling of your equipment helps ensure electrical and
electronic equipment (EEE) waste is recycled in a manner that conserves valuable
materials and protects human health and the environment, improper handling,
accidental breakage, damage, and/or improper recycling at the end of its life may be
harmful for health and environment. For more information about where and how to
drop off your EEE waste, please contact your local authorities, retailer or household

Installer les piles (démarrage
automatique)
Ouvrez le compartiment à piles situé à l'arrière de la balance, installez les quatre
piles AAA, puis refermez le compartiment. La balance s'allumera alors
automatiquement et affichera à l'écran. Une fois stablement placée au sol,
elle affichera à l'écran.
