The WARP FACTOR™ was designed specifically to
help you blast through creative barriers and super-
charge your powers of musical
expression. A specially designed
circuit puts at your disposal a
sonic force of awesome
dimensions. The perfect
powerhouse for pumping out
massive riffs, this amp’s to-die-for
metal tone sounds as if forged with hammer and
anvil. Be prepared for overtones, sustain and
bottom end without end! Courtesy of its high-
current circuitry, the WARP FACTOR™ delivers the
in-your-face brand of sound pressure, transporting
the sound of drop D-tuned and seven-string gui-
tars to your audience and, given the right rig, into
the next county. Of course you need a wall wart
to do this. Only then will this little monster get the
juice it needs to shatter the dynamic barriers of
battery-operated devices. Words fail: Simply twist
your guitar’s volume knob and vary the intensity of
your attack and you’ll discover exactly what we
mean.
SETTING UP
Connect the WARP FACTOR™ between your guitar
and amp. This is strictly a front-end stomp box. It
wasn’t designed to plug it into an FX loop and has
no business being there! Your best bet is to dial in
the cleanest sound you can get and turn your
amp up loud. After you have activated the
WARP FACTOR™, use the SUB switch to adjust its
bottom-end response to suit your setup.
KNOBS / SWITCHES
GAIN: Controls input sensitivity and determines the
degree or amount of distortion.
WARP: Shapes midrange frequencies. Set to the far
left position, it boosts low mids from 250 Hz to high
mids at 1 kHz. Set to the far right, it cuts mids at
500 hertz with a slight presence boost at 3 kHz.
LEVEL: Controls output level without
influencing tone.
SUB: Boosts the low end at 90 hertz. (The red ring is
no longer visible when activated.) This is the
resonance frequency of a truly evil-sounding
4 x 12" cab. Step on this when you want to put the
pedal to the metal. ! CAUTION ! Not suitable for
all combos and speakers!
POWER UNIT: Be sure to use an original Hughes &
Kettner®power unit only. Damage caused by the
use of another power unit invalidates the
manufacturer’s warranty!
NOTES ON SAFETY
Make sure that the mains voltage indicated on
the power unit corresponds to the local mains
voltage. Always connect the power unit’s output
with the device first before plugging the power
unit into a socket. Do this to prevent short circuits
that can harm you or your device.
LIMITED WARRANTY
The manufacturer warrants that this product is free
from defects in material and workmanship at the
time of manufacture. This warranty is valid only for
two years from the date of original purchase. This
warranty shall not apply and the manufacturer
disclaims any liability or responsibility whatsoever
for any damage or defect resulting from
alteration, misuse, abuse, neglect, or faulty
operation or for any product the serial number of
which has been damaged, altered or removed.

Der WARP FACTOR™ wurde dazu entwickelt, die
Grenzen Deiner Kreativität zu sprengen und
Deinem spielerischen Ausdruck den
ultimativen Kick zu versetzen.Ein
spezielles Schaltungsdesign
bietet Dir ein gewaltiges
Soundspektrum für Riffs - als
wären sie mit einem Hammer
aus einem Stück Edelmetal
geschmiedet worden. Obertöne, Sustain und
Bottom-End ohne Ende! Den Druck, den Du mit
einem Drop D Tuning oder mit einer 7 String und
dem WARP FACTOR™ erzeugen kannst, ist auf-
grund seines „High current“ Schaltungsdesigns
unglaublich. Dies erfordert natürlich die
Verwendung eines Netzteiles. Denn nur so ist es
möglich, aus der Dynamikeinschränkung eines
batteriebetriebenen Gerätes auszubrechen.
Arbeite mit dem Volumenpoti Deiner Gitarre und
mit der Intensität Deines Anschlages, dann wirst
Du verstehen, was gemeint ist.
ANWENDUNG
Der WARP FACTOR™ wird zwischen Gitarre und
Amp angeschlossen. Im Einschleifweg hat er abso-
lut nichts zu suchen, denn dafür wurde er weder
entwickelt noch gebaut! Stelle Deinen Amp am
besten so laut und so clean wie möglich ein.
Nachdem Du Deinen WARP FACTOR™ aktiviert
hast, hast Du die Möglichkeit, mit dem SUB Scha-
lter den Bassbereich an Dein Setup anzupassen.
REGLER / SCHALTER
GAIN: Regelt die Eingangsempfindlichkeit und
bestimmt den Grad der Verzerrung
WARP: Bestimmt den Mittenanteil. Linksanschlag
bewirkt einen Boost der Tiefmitten bei 250 Hz bis zu
den Hochmitten bei 1 kHz. Rechtsanschlag bewirkt
eine Absenkung der Mitten bei 500 Hz, und eine
leichte Anhebung der Presence bei 3 kHz.
LEVEL: Regelt den Ausgangspegel, ohne die
Soundcharakteristik zu beeinflussen.
SUB: Boostet den Bottom-End (roter Ring nicht
mehr sichtbar) bei 90 Hz (die Resonanzfrequenz
einer anerkannt „bösen„ 4x 12„ Box). Um mal so
richtig fett Gas zu geben. ACHTUNG: Nicht für alle
Combos und Speaker geeignet!
NETZTEIL: Bitte ausschliesslich ein original Hughes &
Kettner®Netzteil PSA 0214 verwenden. Bei
Schäden, die durch die Verwendung eines ande-
ren Netzteils verursacht werden, verfällt die
Garantieleistung seitens des Herstellers!
SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Vergewissere Dich, dass die auf dem Netzteil
angegebene Netzspannung mit der ortsüblichen
Netzspannung übereinstimmt. Immer zuerst den
Netzteilausgang mit dem Gerät verbinden, und
anschliessend erst das Netzteil mit der Steckdose.
So vermeidest Du Kurzschlüsse, die Dir oder dem
Gerät Schaden zufügen.
GEWÄHRLEISTUNG/
GEWÄHRLEISTUNGSAUSCHLUSS
Der Hersteller übernimmt für den Zeitraum von
2Jahren ab Kaufdatum eine Gewährleistung auf
Material und Verarbeitung. Bei Beschädigungen,
die durch Unfälle oder/und Missbrauch oder/und
Bedienungsfehler entstehen, verfällt die
Gewährleistungspflicht seitens des Herstellers.
Ebenso bei einer beschädigten oder fehlenden
Seriennummer.

Le WARP FACTOR™ a été développé pour
repousser les limites de votre créativité et offrir le
nec plus ultra à votre expressivité.
Une conception spéciale des
circuits vous donne un puissant
spectre sonore pour les riffs -
comme si un forgeron utilisait
un marteau fabriqué dans un
métal précieux. Harmoniques,
Sustain et Bottom-End à l'infini ! La pression que
vous pouvez produire avec un Drop D Tuning ou
une 7 String et le WARP FACTOR™ est incroyable
grâce à sa conception de circuits "High Current".
Bien entendu, vous avez besoin d'un bloc
d'alimentation. Car c'est le seul moyen de briser
le carcan dynamique d'un appareil à batterie.
Utilisez le potentiomètre de volume de votre
guitare et exploitez l'intensité de votre jeu :
vous comprendrez ce que nous voulons dire.
INSTALLATION
Le WARP FACTOR™ s'installe entre la guitare et
l'ampli. Il n'est absolument d'aucune utilité dans
la boucle d'effets puisqu'il n'a été ni conçu ni
développé pour cela ! Réglez un niveau de
volume et de son Clean maximal sur votre ampli.
Une fois le WARP FACTOR™ activé, vous pouvez
adapter les basses à votre Setup au moyen du
sélecteur SUB.
POTENTIOMÈTRES/SÉLECTEURS
GAIN: règle la sensibilité d'entrée et détermine le
taux de distorsion
WARP: détermine la composante "médiums" à
fond à gauche, il augmente les médiums graves à
250 Hz jusqu'aux médiums aigus à 1 kHz à fond à
droite, il atténue les médiums à 500 Hz et renforce
légèrement la Présence à 3 kHz
LEVEL: règle le niveau de sortie sans influencer la
caractéristique sonore
SUB: augmente le Bottom-End (anneau rouge plus
visible) à 90 Hz (la fréquencede résonance d'une
enceinte 4x12" connue pour son"caractère agres-
sif") Et pour rajouter un peu de basses à l'occasion.
! ATTENTION ! Ne convient pas pour tous les com-
bos et enceintes !
BLOC D'ALIMENTATION: Utilisez exclusivement un
bloc d'alimentation d'origine Hughes & Kettner®.
Les dommages liés à l'utilisation d'un autre bloc
d'alimentation ne sont pas couverts par la
garantie du fabricant !
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Assurez-vous que la tension secteur disponible
correspond à la valeur de tension indiquée sur le
bloc d'alimentation. Commencez toujours par
connecter la sortie du bloc d'alimentation à
l'appareil avant de brancher la fiche secteur du
bloc. Vous évitez ainsi des courts-circuits suscep-
tibles de vous blesser ou d'abîmer l'appareil.
GARANTIE / EXCLUSIONS
Le fabricant accorde une garantie "pièces et
main-d'œuvre" de deux ans à compter de la date
d'achat. Tout dégât résultant d'accidents et/ou
de mauvaises utilisations et/ou de fausses
manœuvres exonère le fabricant de son
obligation de garantie. Il en va de même si le
numéro de série est endommagé ou absent.

Siamo fieri di presentarti il WARP FACTOR™ - il
processore effetti che ti permette di oltrepassare i
più remoti limiti della tua creatività
e che aggiunge il famoso
ultimo ritocco alla tua
espressione musicale.
Il suo circuito è stato disegnato
per mettere a disposizione il
massimo spettro sonore per i tuoi
riff– proprio se come Thor, il nordico dio del tuono,
li avrebbe forgiato da un solo blocco di metallo
prezioso. Grazie al circuito „High Current„ del
WARP FACTOR™ puoi creare dei suoni incredibil-
mente potenti per chitarre 7-string o accordate
su Re (drop D tuning). Per poter sfruttare il
massimo delle possibilità, ti conviene natural-
mente usare un alimentatore di rete perché gli
apparecchi con funzionamento a batteria non
sono in grado di offrire un tale vasto spettro
dinamico. Se esperimenti un po’ col regolatore
del volume della tua chitarra e l’intensità del tuo
tocco, scoprirai la differenza.
UTILIZZO
Collega il tuo WARP FACTOR™ fra l’uscita della tua
chitarra e l’ingresso del tuo amplificatore. Mai
collegarlo al loop effetti perché l’apparecchio
non è stato costruito per questo modo di collega-
mento. Regola il tuo amplificatore nel modo che
produca il più pulito suono al più alto livello di
volume possibile. Dopo aver attivato il tuo
WARP FACTOR™ puoi accordare le frequenze
basse al tuo setup tramite il tasto SUB.
REGOLATORI / TASTI
GAIN: Regola la sensibilità di ingresso e serve a
controllare il grado di distorsione.
WARP: Controllo per regolare il volume delle
frequenze medie. Girato sulla sinistra, il volume
delle frequenze medie-basse a partire da 250 Hz
fino alle frequenze medie-alte di 1 kHz viene
alzato (Boost). Girato sulla destra, il volume delle
frequenze medie intorno ai 500 Hz viene
abbassato e il volume del presence (intorno
ai 3 kHz) viene leggermente alzato.
LEVEL: Regola il livello di uscita senza influire sulle
caratteristiche del suono.
SUB: Booster per il bottom end, cioè le frequenze
basse intorno ai 90 Hz (le frequenze di risonanza di
un vero e proprio „cattivo“ cabinet 4x 12“). Con
tasto attivato, l’anello rosso non è visibile. Questo
tasto è il „turbo“ per il tuo sound!
! ATTENZIONE ! I combo o cabinet muniti di
altoparlanti „qualsiasi“ non sono sempre in grado
a digerire questo tasto!
ALIMENTATORE DI RETE: Per favore usa soltanto un
alimentatore di rete originale Hughes & Kettner®.
Le nostre condizioni di garanzia non valgono per
danni causati dal utilizzo di un alimentatore di rete
di altra provenienza.
AVVISI DI SICUREZZA
Assicurati che la tensione elettrica indicata sull’alimen-
tatore di rete corrisponda a quella della rete a cui ti stai
collegando. Bada che l’uscita dell’alimentatore di rete
sia collegata all’apparecchio prima di collegare
l’alimentatore di rete alla corrente. Così eviterai eventu-
ali corti circuiti che potrebbero causare danni a te o al
tuo apparecchio.

partire dalla data d’acquisto per le componenti e la
lavorazione dell’apparecchio. Hughes & Kettner®però

El WARP FACTOR™ ha sido desarrollado para
romper los límites de tu creatividad y dar el im-
pulso definitivo a tu expresión inter-
pretativa. Un diseño especial de
los circuitos te ofrece un
espectro de sonido potente
para los riffs – como si se
hubiesen forjado con un
martillo a partir de una pieza de
metal noble. ¡Armónicos, Sustain y Bottom-End sin
límite! La presión que puedes crear con un Drop D
Tuning o con un 7 String y el WARP FACTOR™
resulta increíble debido a su diseño de circuitos
„High current„. Naturalmente, esto requiere el uso
de una fuente de alimentación. Solamente de
este modo resulta posible obtener un aparato
alimentado por batería a partir de la limitación
dinámica. Trabaja con el potenciómetro de
volumen de tu guitarra y con la intensidad de tu
forma de tocar y entonces comprenderás lo que
queremos decir.
APLICACIÓN
El WARP FACTOR™ se conecta entre la guitarra y
el amplificador. No ha sido desarrollado ni
construido en absoluto para la vía de conexión
en bucle. Ajusta tu amplificador lo más alto y
claro que sea posible. Después de que hayas
activado tu WARP FACTOR™ puedes adaptar la
gama de graves a tu Setup con el interruptor SUB.
REGULADORES / INTERRUPTORES
GAIN: Regula la sensibilidad de entrada y
determina el grado de distorsión
WARP: Determina la proporción de medios. El tope
izquierdo produce un reforzamiento de los medios
bajos a 250 Hz hasta los medios altos con 1 kHz.
El tope derecho produce un descenso de los
medios a 500 Hz, y una ligera elevación de la
Presence a 3 kHz.
LEVEL: Regula el nivel de salida, sin influir en la
característica de sonido
SUB: Refuerza el Bottom-End (el anillo rojo deja de
estar visible) a 90 Hz (la frecuencia de resonancia
de una caja de 4x 12„ reconocida como
„maligna“). Para poder darle potencia a placer.
! ATENCIÓN ! ¡No es apropiado para todos los
combos y altavoces!
FUENTE DE ALIMENTACIÓN: Debe utilizarse
exclusivamente una fuente de alimentación
Hughes & Kettner®. Si se producen daños debido
al uso de una fuente de alimentación diferente,
se extinguirán los derechos a la prestación de
garantía por parte del fabricante.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Asegúrate de que la tensión de red indicada en la
fuente de alimentación coincide con la tensión de red
local. En primer lugar, debes conectar la salida de la
fuente de alimentación con el aparato y seguidamente
la fuente de alimentación con la toma de corriente. De
este modo evitarás cortocircuitos que pueden causar
daños a ti o al aparato.
GARANTÍA / EXCLUSIÓN DE LA
GARANTÍA
El fabricante concede una garantía sobre el material y
la producción por un periodo de 2 años desde la fecha
de compra. En caso de daños producidos por acciden-
tes y/o uso incorrecto y/o un manejo inadecuado, se
extinguirá la obligación de prestación de garantía por
parte del fabricante. Lo mismo sucederá si el número
de serie está dañado o ausente.
