HTA-810, 820, 830 and 840 are designed mainly for time and attendance recording with
easy installation, auto/manual clock in and clock out and daylight saving control, 32 sets
alarm outputs. They come in various types to meet your every need.

First time setup in 3 minutes, a perfect “DIY” Time Attendance Recorder for either
wall-mount or desktop use.
Daylight saving control
Auto or manual clock in and clock out for HTA-820/830/840.
10 baseT Ethernet (TCP/IP) for HTA-830.
10 baseT Ethernet & PoE (Power over Ethernet) for HTA-840.
Dynamic control of memory up to 8,200 transaction data, max. 60 days data storage
in case of power outages.
Valid card identification, maximum storage up to 8,000 records for HTA-820/830/840.
Standalone/Network communication via RS232/RS485, dial-up modem and TCP/IP
(External Converter required) for HTA-810/820. HTA-830/840 uses TCP/IP
communication interface.
Visual LED for distant display of time, card number (last 4 digits) and for
communication mode, swiped card indication.
Preset 16 time schedule for HTA-820/830/840.
32 alarm outputs.
Auto scheduling for data collection, time calibration, download of valid card number.
Memory buffer full warning – when memory capacity reaches 90%, it will send an
alarm to remind the system administrator for data collection. System halts card data
storage as memory capacity reaches 100%.
Invalid card and re-swiped card off-the-record to save memory capacity.
Built in RTC (Real Time Clock) maintaining accurate time regardless of power
outages.
Editable attendance management daily or monthly report.

below:
DO’s
zAlways read the safety precautions carefully. Keep this user manual for future reference.
zWhen product has been damaged during transit, kindly inform your courier.
zInstall the device in a dry, well-ventilated, chemical-free area.
zUse only the power supply specified for your device and in compliance with IEC 60950.
Power supply of other electronic devices may look similar, but they may affect your device’s
performance or damage it.
zInstallation of this product must be done by authorized, qualified technicians.
zIf any of the following situations arises, get the product checked by a service personnel:
-The power cord or plug is damaged.
-Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
-The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
-The equipment does not work well or you cannot get it work accordingly to the User
Manual.
-The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
-The equipment has obvious signs of breakage.
zWhen replacement parts are required, be sure that the service technician has used
replacement parts specified by the manufacturer or with same characteristics as original part.
Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
zUse only the metal housing specified / supplied by the manufacturer to ensure compliance

zUnplug this product from wall outlet and refer service to qualified service personnel if the
product does not operate normally after following the user manual.
zAfter turning off the power, kindly wait 3 sec and above before turning the power on to ensure
that all electric charges are fully discharged.
zUse only the power cord designated by our dealer to ensure safety and EMC. When used with
other power supply voltage, the power cable will be damaged. Use the standard power plug
and cord set of specified country. Consult your product dealer.
zKindly use IEC60950/EN60950/UL60950 compliant Uninterrupted Power Supply only.
Alternative products might damage the device or cause fire and electric shock.
DON’Ts
zDo not expose the device to extreme temperature, directly under the sun, humid environment,
near chemicals or places with high electromagnetic interferences.
zInstallation of this device near flammable materials is extremely prohibited.
zDo not alter the device for it will VOID your warranty.
zDo not place the device in an area with an excessive amount of dirt. Use only clean, dry cloth
to clean the controller.

CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the

For better environmental protection, waste batteries should be collected separately for
recycling or special disposal.
