General Safety Instructions
Read Quick Start Guide carefully before use!
Improper handling may cause defects.
Only to be used with power adaptors that provide
5VDC / 1A / 5W output on a micro-USB
connector!
This appliance can only be used, cleaned or
maintenance by specialized personnel.
Do not expose the device to rain or hot conditions.
Please keep the device clean and dry.
The device is designed for usage in a dust-free,
dry and ventilated environment.
Don’t cover the device.
Do not use the charger if there are any signs of
damage.
Do not open the charger or carry repairs. Repairs
may be carried from authorized personnel with
original spare parts, only.
This equipment is not suitable for use in locations
where children are likely to be present.

Quick Start Guide / accès rapide
1. Unpacking / Déballage
Carefully remove the Battery interface from the package.
Retirez l'interface de la batterie de l'emballage.
2. Connect Ethernet (RJ45) / Connexion Ethernet
Connect the Ethernet (RJ45) cable as shown in Figure 1 .
Connectez un câble Ethernet comme indiqué sur la
Figure 1 .
NOTE: Make sure the plug is inserted correctly.
Assurez-vous que le connecteur est bien en place.
3. Connect Battery (DSub 9pin) / Connexion de la batterie
Connect the HY-Di Smart Battery cable as shown in Figure 2 .
Connectez le câble HY-Di Smart Battery comme indiqué

NOTE: Connection is possible with CAN Bus or SM Bus.

4. Connect Power-supply (micro-USB) / Connexion de
L’alimentation
Connect the power supply (micro-USB) cable as shown in Figure 3 .

Figure 3 .
NOTE: Power demands: 5V/1A.
Besoin en courant : 5V/1A
5. Status-LED for battery connection / Status LED
The status-LED inform about the connection between battery
interface and Smart Battery - see
Figure 4 .
La LED informe sur l’état de la connexion entre l’interface HBI et
la batterie – voir figure 4.
BLUE: No battery connected.
La batterie n’est pas connectée.
GREEN:Battery successfully connected.
La batterie est bien connectée.
RED: Error - remove and reconnect plug power supply.
Erreur – Déconnecter et reconnecter le connecteur d’alimentation USB
6. Open Web-GUI for battery data / Ouvrir l’interface WEB pour les données de la batterie
Open your web browser.
Ouvrez votre navigateur web.
Open Web-GUI address: “192.168.0.50”
Dans le navigateur, ouvrez la page avec ce Nr. IP: “192.168.0.50”
Note: Make sure your IP address range is configured accordingly.
Définissez votre plage d'adresses IP en conséquence.

7. Read battery data from Web-GUI / Lire les données de la batterie dans le navigateur
A Web-GUI provides the battery data - see Figure 6 .

8. Settings / Paramètres
Define your static IP address under “NETWORK”.
Définissez votre adresse IP statique sous “NETWORK”.
Set time and date under “Date & Time”.
Réglez l'heure et la date sous “Date & Time”.
9. Firmware Update
Click on the “TOOL” logo and select the new firmware file. - see Figure 4
Cliquez sur le logo "TOOL" et sélectionnez le nouveau fichier firmware.
Follow the instructions.

10. Data logging / Enregistrement des données
Select the values that should be logged by clicking the appropriate line.
Sélectionnez les valeurs qui doivent être enregistrées. Pour ce faire, cliquez sur la ligne correspondante.
Choose the frequency with which the values should be logged.
Choisissez la fréquence à laquelle les valeurs doivent être enregistrées.
Start logging by clicking “Start Logging”.
Démarrer l'enregistrement en cliquant sur “Start Logging”.
You can stop logging at any time.
Vous pouvez arrêter l'enregistrement à tout moment.
The log file will be saved automatically. Click download for saving on your PC.
Le fichier d'enregistrement est automatiquement sauvegardé. Cliquez sur Télécharger pour sauvegarder le fichier
sur votre PC
NOTE: Only the latest log file will be saved!
Seul le dernier fichier d'enregistrement est conservé !
