T hank you for purchasing the H yco H urricane H and Dr yer.
Please read and understand these instructions before
commencing installation, and leave them with the user when
installation is complete.
1. SA FET Y
• T he Electrical Installation must be carried out by a qualified
electrician in accordance with the current edition of the I.E.E.
Wiring Regulations.
• Electrical connection must be made to the fixed wiring of the proper ty
using a double pole isolating switch, with a break contact distance of at
least 3mm.
• T his appliance must be grounded.
• O nly connect the H and dr yer to a single phase supply with a mains
voltage as specified on the r ating plate.
• D o not cover the air inlet or outlet.
• T he H and dr yer must be installed out of reach of per sons using a bath or
shower.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

2. INSTALLATION
• Please follow all safety instructions when installing the unit.
• Using the template pr ovided (see fig 1), dr ill 4 holes of 6mm diameter and
35mm deep.
• Fix the installation br acket to the two holes at the top using the fixings
provided (see fig 2).

3. O PERAT IO N
• Shake excess water fr om hands.
• To activate the hand dr yer, place your hands under neath the air outlet to
oper ate the sensor.
• R ub hands together lightly and r apidly.
• T he dr yer will stop automatically 1 second after removing hands.
• T he dr yer will also automatically cut-out after 1 minute of consecutive use.
• To r e-star t the hand dr yer, put
hands back under neath and r e-
oper ate the sensor.
• T he sensitivity of the sensor can be
adjusted by removing the cover and
accessing the Pr inted C ir cuit Board
(see fig 5)
