Chapter 1Product Information
1.1 General Information
The MPC-52P, 12.1" LCD 6-slot Chassis, takes advantages of modern flat-panel
displays, CPU board, power supply and passive backplane for minimum size. It is an
IBM PC/AT compatible computer specially designed to meet the applications for
Industrial.
LCD Display
MPC-52P is equipped with a 12.1" TFT LCD.
Touch Screen (option)
Dynapro resistive touch screen
Versatile Passive Backplane
MPC-52P can be equipped with BP-6S or IP-6S 6-slot backplane.

Power Supply
The standard industrial power supply of MPC-52P is equipped with ACE-890A. The
optional power supplies are:

Power switch is available at the rear panel.

1.4 CD-ROM, 3.5" FDD and 3.5" HDD
MPC-52P is equipped with one CD-ROM and 3.5" FDD in the side panel that can be
accessible by opening the lockable drive door as the following diagram shown. As for
3.5" HDD, it can be installed by opening upper cover.

1.5 Brightness adjustment and power supply switch
The brightness adjustment, contrast adjustment, AC input and power switch are
placed at the rear of chassis as the following diagram shown.

Chapter 2 System Setup
The MPC-52P, 12.1" LCD 6-slot Chassis, is very easy to set up for operation. All you
have to do is to open the upper cover, install backplane, your CPU card, display
control card, hard disk drive and other I/O cards required by your application.
2.1 Adding Cards
Before installing the cards, the top panel should be removed first by releasing screws
as the diagram below shown. Then, users can slowly slid the card in and carefully
press it into the slot of backplane and fix it.

2.2 Disk Drives installation
MPC-52P provides one 5.25" Drive CD-ROM, one 3.5" FDD and one 3.5" HDD. The
diagram 1 shows how to install one 5.25" Drive CD-ROM and one 3.5" FDD. As for
3.5" HDD, user need remove the upper panel by releasing the screws as the diagram 2
below shown.
