êîðîòêèõ çàìûêàíèÿõ è ïåðåãðóçêàõ, à òàêæå äëÿ íå÷àñòûõ (äî 30 ðàç â ñóòêè)
îïåðàòèâíûõ âêëþ÷åíèé è îòêëþ÷åíèé ýëåêòðè÷åñêèõ öåïåé â òðåõôàçíûõ
ýëåêòðè÷åñêèõ ñåòÿõ ïåðåìåííîãî òîêà, íàïðÿæåíèåì äî 400  è ÷àñòîòîé
50 Ãö.
Âûêëþ÷àòåëü ñîîòâåòñòâóåò òðåáîâàíèÿì òåõíè÷åñêèõ ðåãëàìåíòîâ
ÒÐ ÒÑ 004/2011, ÒÐ ÅÀÝÑ 037/2016, ÃÎÑÒ IEC 60947-2 è ÃÎÑÒ Ð 50030.2.
Âûêëþ÷àòåëü ìîæåò ýêñïëóàòèðîâàòüñÿ ïðè ñëåäóþùèõ óñëîâèÿõ,
îñòàëüíûå ïàðàìåòðû ñîîòâåòñòâóþò êëèìàòè÷åñêîìó èñïîëíåíèþ ÓÕË3
ïî ÃÎÑÒ 15150:
– äèàïàçîí ðàáî÷èõ òåìïåðàòóð îò ìèíóñ 25 °Ñ äî ïëþñ 40 °Ñ;

Âûêëþ÷àòåëü îñíàùåí ýëåêòðîííûì ìèêðîïðîöåññîðíûì ðàñöåïèòåëåì
ÌÐ211, êîòîðûé îáåñïå÷èâàåò çàùèòó îò ïåðåãðóçêè ñ îáðàòíîçàâèñèìîé
äëèòåëüíîé çàäåðæêîé ñðàáàòûâàíèÿ è îáðàòíîçàâèñèìîé âðåìÿòîêîâîé
õàðàêòåðèñòèêîé, à òàêæå îáåñïå÷èâàåò çàùèòó îò êîðîòêîãî çàìûêàíèÿ
ñ ðåãóëèðóåìûì ìãíîâåííûì ðàñöåïëåíèåì. Ïàðàìåòðû ÌÐ211 ïðèâåäåíû
â òàáëèöå 2.
Ïîäêëþ÷åíèå ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèõ ãèáêèõ ïðîâîäíèêîâ èëè øèí îñóùåñòâ-
ëÿåòñÿ ñ ïîìîùüþ êðåïåæíûõ ýëåìåíòîâ äëÿ ïîäñîåäèíåíèÿ âíåøíèõ
ïðîâîäíèêîâ. Äîïóñêàåòñÿ ïîäêëþ÷åíèå êàê ìåäíûõ, òàê è àëþìèíèåâûõ
ïðîâîäíèêîâ, îñíàùåííûõ íàêîíå÷íèêàìè òèïà JG, DT, DL, DTL, ÒÌË, ÒÀ,
ÒÌ, ÍÁ, ÍÊ, ÍÏ, ÍÀ, ÍÑ, ÍÁË òîâàðíîãî çíàêà IEK, ëèáî ëþáûìè äðóãèìè,
ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèìè ïî êîíñòðóêöèè è ïîïåðå÷íîìó ñå÷åíèþ. Ðåêîìåíäóåòñÿ
èñïîëüçîâàòü âìåñòå ñ ãèáêèìè ïðîâîäíèêàìè íàêîíå÷íèêè-ïåðåõîäíèêè
(â êîìïëåêò ïîñòàâêè ÂÀ88-35 íå âõîäÿò). Ðàçìåðû ïðèñîåäèíÿåìûõ
íàêîíå÷íèêîâ-ïåðåõîäíèêîâ è øèí äîëæíû ñîîòâåòñòâîâàòü ïðåäñòàâëåííûì
íà ðèñóíêå 5 èëè 6. Ðàçìåð îïðåññîâû-âàåìîé (îáæèìàåìîé) ñ ïîìîùüþ
íàêîíå÷íèêà æèëû ñëåäóåò ïîäáèðàòü ñ ó÷åòîì òðåáîâàíèé ÂÑÍ 13983.

Âûêëþ÷àòåëü ÿâëÿåòñÿ ðåìîíòîïðèãîäíûì èçäåëèåì. Íåîáõîäèìî
ïåðèîäè÷åñêè (íå ðåæå îäíîãî ðàçà â ãîä) ïðîâåðÿòü çàòÿæêó âèíòîâ
ïðèñîåäèíåíèÿ. Ïîñëå êàæäîãî îòêëþ÷åíèÿ òîêà êîðîòêîãî çàìûêàíèÿ
íóæíî ïðîèçâîäèòü îñìîòð âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ è, äîïîëíèòåëüíî, ðåêîìåíäóåòñÿ
ïðîèçâåñòè 8–10 ðàç îïåðàöèþ «âêëþ÷åíèå-îòêëþ÷åíèå» áåç òîêà, çàòåì
ïðîèçâåñòè èìèòàöèþ àâòîìàòè÷åñêîãî ñðàáàòûâàíèÿ âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ ïóòåì
íàæàòèÿ íà êíîïêó «Òåñò».
Çàùèòíûå õàðàêòåðèñòèêè (óñòàâêè ñðàáàòûâàíèÿ) âûáèðàþòñÿ
ïîòðåáèòåëåì íåïîñðåäñòâåííî íà ïåðåäíåé ïàíåëè âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ
óñòàíîâêîé DIP – ïåðåêëþ÷àòåëåé ñîãëàñíî ïðèâåäåííîé ìíåìîñõåìå
(ðèñóíîê 8).
Ïðè âûõîäå âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ èç ñòðîÿ èëè îáíàðóæåíèè íåèñïðàâíîñòè
îáðàùàòüñÿ â îðãàíèçàöèè, óêàçàííûå â ðàçäåëå 6.
Âûêëþ÷àòåëü äîïóñêàåò ïîäâîä íàïðÿæåíèÿ îò èñòî÷íèêà ïèòàíèÿ êàê
ñî ñòîðîíû âûâîäîâ 1, 3, 5, òàê è ñî ñòîðîíû âûâîäîâ 2, 4, 6.
Óñòàâêè òåïëîâûõ è ýëåêòðîííûõ ðàñöåïèòåëåé (â çàâèñèìîñòè îò òèïà
âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ) îòðàæåíû â òàáëèöàõ 6 è 7.
Òðàíñïîðòèðîâàíèå âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ â ÷àñòè âîçäåéñòâèÿ ìåõàíè÷åñêèõ
ôàêòîðîâ îñóùåñòâëÿåòñÿ ïî ãðóïïå Ñ è Æ ÃÎÑÒ 23216, êëèìàòè÷åñêèõ
ôàêòîðîâ – ïî ãðóïïå 4 (Æ2) ÃÎÑÒ 15150.
Íîðìàëüíîå ðàáî÷åå ïîëîæåíèå âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ â ïðîñòðàíñòâå
íà âåðòèêàëüíîé ïëîñêîñòè âûâîäàìè 1, 3, 5 ââåðõ, äîïóñêàåòñÿ óñòàíîâêà
íà âåðòèêàëüíîé ïëîñêîñòè ñ ïîâîðîòîì âûâîäîâ 1, 3, 5 âëåâî è âïðàâî íà 90°.
Òðåáóåòñÿ òîëüêî îäíà íàñòðîéêà äëÿ âñåõ ôàç, ïðè ýòîì ñðàáàòûâàíèå
ðàñöåïèòåëÿ ïðîèñõîäèò îäíîâðåìåííî äëÿ âñåõ ïîëþñîâ âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ.
Êîíòàêòíûå ñîåäèíåíèÿ âíåøíèõ ïðîâîäíèêîâ è âûâîäîâ âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ
äîëæíû óäîâëåòâîðÿòü òðåáîâàíèÿì ÃÎÑÒ 10434 è äîëæíû âûäåðæèâàòü
èñïûòàíèÿ ïî ÃÎÑÒ 17441.
Ìèêðîïðîöåññîðíûé ðàñöåïèòåëü íå òðåáóåò îòäåëüíîãî ïèòàíèÿ
è ãàðàíòèðóåò ïðàâèëüíóþ ðàáîòó çàùèòû ïðè òîêå íàãðóçêè íå ìåíåå 15 %
îò íîìèíàëüíîãî äàæå ïðè íàëè÷èè íàïðÿæåíèÿ òîëüêî â îäíîé ôàçå. Áëîê
çàùèòû âêëþ÷àåò â ñåáÿ òðè òðàíñôîðìàòîðà òîêà, ìèêðîïðîöåññîðíûé
ìîäóëü è îòêëþ÷àþùèé ýëåêòðîìàãíèò, êîòîðûé âîçäåéñòâóåò íåïîñðåäñò-
âåííî íà ìåõàíèçì âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ. Òðàíñôîðìàòîðû òîêà, óñòàíîâëåííûå
âíóòðè êîðïóñà ðàñöåïèòåëÿ, îáåñïå÷èâàþò ýëåêòðîïèòàíèå ýëåêòðîííîé
ñõåìû ðàñöåïèòåëÿ è âûðàáàòûâàþò ñèãíàëû, íåîáõîäèìûå äëÿ âûïîëíåíèÿ
ôóíêöèè çàùèòû.
Ïðè ïîÿâëåíèè ñâåðõòîêà âûêëþ÷àòåëü ðàçìûêàåòñÿ ñ ïîìîùüþ
ýëåêòðîìàãíèòà ðàñöåïëåíèÿ. Ïîâòîðíîå âêëþ÷åíèå îñóùåñòâëÿåòñÿ
ðóêîÿòêîé âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ.
Íà ðèñóíêå 8 ïðèâåäåí ïðèìåð óñòàíîâêè ïàðàìåòðîâ ìèêðîïðîöåñ-
ñîðíîãî ðàñöåïèòåëÿ ÌÐ211.

Òðàíñïîðòèðîâàíèå âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ äîïóñêàåòñÿ ëþáûì âèäîì êðûòîãî
òðàíñïîðòà â óïàêîâêå èçãîòîâèòåëÿ, îáåñïå÷èâàþùåãî ïðåäîõðàíåíèå
óïàêîâàííîãî âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ îò ìåõàíè÷åñêèõ ïîâðåæäåíèé, çàãðÿçíåíèÿ
è ïîïàäàíèÿ âëàãè, ïðè òåìïåðàòóðå îò ìèíóñ 25 °C äî ïëþñ 40 °C.
Ñðîê ñëóæáû âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ – 15 ëåò.
Âûêëþ÷àòåëü íå ïîäëåæèò óòèëèçàöèè â êà÷åñòâå áûòîâûõ îòõîäîâ.
Äëÿ óòèëèçàöèè ïåðåäàòü â ñïåöèàëèçèðîâàííîå ïðåäïðèÿòèå äëÿ
ïåðåðàáîòêè âòîðè÷íîãî ñûðüÿ.
Õðàíåíèå âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ îñóùåñòâëÿåòñÿ â óïàêîâêå èçãîòîâèòåëÿ
â ïîìåùåíèÿõ ñ åñòåñòâåííîé âåíòèëÿöèåé ïðè òåìïåðàòóðå îêðóæàþùåãî
âîçäóõà îò ìèíóñ 25 °C äî ïëþñ 40 °C è îòíîñèòåëüíîé âëàæíîñòè äî 90 %
è òåìïåðàòóðå ïëþñ 20 °C.
Ñðîê ñëóæáû è ãàðàíòèè ïðîèçâîäèòåëÿ
Ãàðàíòèéíûé ñðîê ýêñïëóàòàöèè âûêëþ÷àòåëÿ – 5 ëåò ñî äíÿ ïðîäàæè
ïðè óñëîâèè ñîáëþäåíèÿ ïîòðåáèòåëåì ïðàâèë ìîíòàæà, ýêñïëóàòàöèè,
òðàíñïîðòèðîâàíèÿ è õðàíåíèÿ.
Ïðåòåíçèè ïî âûêëþ÷àòåëþ íå ïðèíèìàþòñÿ â ñëó÷àå ñàìîñòîÿòåëüíîãî
èçìåíåíèÿ êîíñòðóêöèè èçäåëèÿ ïîòðåáèòåëåì.
Àâòîìàòè÷åñêèé âûêëþ÷àòåëü, êîòîðûé äî èñòå÷åíèÿ ñðîêà ãàðàíòèè
îòðàáîòàë îáùåå êîëè÷åñòâî öèêëîâ âêëþ÷åíèÿ-îòêëþ÷åíèÿ, ïðåäóñìîò-
ðåííûõ òåõíè÷åñêèìè óñëîâèÿìè, çàìåíå èëè ðåìîíòó íå ïîäëåæèò.

Base product data
ÂA88 circuit breaker with electronic release of KARAT series of IEK
trademark (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is designed to conduct
current in normal mode and turn off overcurrents in case of short circuits and
overloads, as well as for infrequent (up to 30 times a day) operational switching
on and off of electrical circuits in three-phase alternating current electrical
networks with voltage up to 400 V and frequency of 50 Hz.
The circuit breaker meets the requirements of Directive No. 2014/30/EU,
2014/35/EU, IEC 60947-2.
The circuit breaker can be operated under the following conditions:
– operating temperature range from minus 25 °Ñ to plus 40 °Ñ;
– base altitude – no more than 1000 m, operation at the altitude of up to
2000 m is allowed with a decrease of rated current up to 10 %;
– environment condition group according to IEC 60947-1 – A, B*;
– utilization category according to IEC 60947-2 – Â (can be used to ensure
selectivity);
– maximum value of relative humidity – 90 % and at temperature plus 20 °Ñ;
– no direct exposure to solar-radiation;
– non-explosive environment, not containing aggressive gases and vapors in
concentrations that destroy metals and insulation, not saturated with conductive
dust and water vapors.
The circuit breaker is intended for use in an environment with pollution
degree 3 (conductive pollution is possible or dry, non-conductive pollution that
becomes conductive due to expected condensation).
The circuit breaker is equipped with an electronic microprocessing release
MP211, which provides overload protection with an inverse long tripping delay
and an inverse time-current characteristic, and also provides short-circuit
protection with adjustable tripping. MP211 parameters are shown in table 2.
Specifications
The technical parameters of the circuit breaker depending on the type are
listed in table 1.
Degree of protection of the circuit breaker case is IP30, of terminals for
connecting external conductors – IP00.

The circuit breaker allows voltage supply from the power source both from
the side of terminals 1, 3, 5 and from the side of terminals 2, 4, 6.
Overall and mounting dimensions of extended outputs (purchased
separately) are shown in the figure 6.
Recommended parameters of conductors for connection to the terminals of
the circuit breaker are given in the table 4.
Installation rules
Completeness of circuit breaker is listed in table 5.
Completeness of set
The connection of the corresponding flexible conductors or busbars is
carried out using the fasteners for connecting the external conductors.
Connection of both copper and aluminum conductors equipped with lugs of JG,
DT, DL, DTL, ÒÌË, ÒÀ, ÒÌ, ÍÁ, ÍÊ, ÍÏ, ÍÀ, ÍÑ, ÍÁË types of IEK trademark, or
with any other, which correspond to design and cross section, is allowed. It is
recommended to use adapter lugs together with flexible conductors (not included
in the delivery set of ÂA88-35). The dimensions of the connected adapter lugs
and busbars should correspond to those presented in Figures 5 or 6. The size of
the core to be crimped (crimped) with the help of the core lug should be selected
taking into account the requirements of ÂÑÍ 13983.

The normal operating position of the circuit breaker in space is on a vertical
plane with terminals 1, 3, 5 upwards; installation on a vertical plane with the
rotation of terminals 1, 3, 5 to the left or right by 90° is allowed.
The circuit breaker is a repairable product. It is necessary periodically (at
least once a year) to check the tightness of the connection screws. After each
disconnection of the short-circuit current, it is necessary to inspect the circuit
breaker and, in addition, it is recommend-ed to perform the "on-off" operation
8–10 times without current, then simulate the automatic operation of the circuit
The circuit breaker is installed on a metal panel with a thickness of at least
1.5 mm or on an insulating panel with a thickness of at least 6 mm and fixed with
the screws included in the delivery.
Additional assembly units for the circuit breakers, ordered separately, are
shown in the table 3. The general scheme for installing additional devices is
shown in figure 1.
Overall and mounting dimensions of adapter lugs for circuit breakers are
shown in figure 5 (for ÂA88-35 purchased separately).
The minimum installation distances of the circuit breakers are shown in
figure 7.
Time-current characteristics are shown in the figure 2.

Storage of the circuit breaker is carried out in the manufacturer's package in
rooms with natural ventilation at an ambient temperature of from minus 25 °C to
plus 40 °C and at a relative humidity of 90 % and a temperature of plus 20 °C.
Service life and manufacturer's warranty
When overcurrent occurs, the circuit breaker is opened by the releasing
electromagnet. Re-closing is carried out by the circuit breaker handle.
Figure 8 shows an example of setting the parameters of the MP211
microprocessing release.
In case of circuit breaker failure or fault detection, contact the organizations
specified in section 6.
breaker by pressing the "Test" button.
Protective characteristics (trip settings) are selected by the consumer
directly on the front panel of the circuit breaker by setting DIP switches according
to the given mnemonic diagram (figure 8).
Only one setting is required for all phases, and the release operates
simultaneously for all poles of the circuit breaker.
The set-up value of thermal and electronic releases (depending on the type
of circuit breaker) are shown in tables 6 and 7.
The microprocessing release does not require a separate power supply and
guarantees the correct operation of the protection at a load current of at least 15 %
of the rated current, even if there is voltage in only one phase. The protection unit
includes three current transformers, a microprocessor module and a trip
electromagnet that acts directly on the circuit breaker mechanism. Current
transformers installed inside the release housing provide power to the release
electronic circuit and generate the signals that are necessary for the protection
function execution.
Transportation, storage and disposal
Transportation of the circuit breaker is allowed by any kind of covered
transport in the manufacturer's package, which protects the packed circuit
breaker from mechanical damages, pollution and moisture ingress at
temperatures from minus 25 °C to plus 40 °C.
The circuit breaker should not be disposed as household waste. For
disposal, transfer to a specialized recycling company.
The service life of the circuit breaker is 15 years.
The circuit breaker that has worked the total number of on-off cycles
provided for by the technical conditions before the expiration of the warranty
cannot be replaced or repaired.
Claims for the circuit breaker will not be accepted in the event of an
independent change in the design of the product by the consumer.
The warranty period for the circuit breaker is 5 years from the date of sale,
provided that the consumer observes the rules for installation, operation,
transportation and storage.
