Product Description
Introduction
Pro Logger (LP-2) is applicable to PV projects, which can connect to inverter, combiner box, weather station,smart meter
and ect,. It also features in lightning protection. It is specially designed for PV system monitoring, which is capable of
receiving and executing network scheduling command. The product can sends the data to the monitoring platform via 4G
or LAN. The real-time status and historical data can be displayed with graphs, enabling intuitive and clear understanding of
PV System. Furthermore, customized alerts can notify users of any malfunction or defect immediately via SMS and E-mail,
which realizes the management of PV System at anytime and anywhere, also simplifies the maintenance significantly.

Step 1: Connect power output of air switch and power input L/N interface of power module via cable

Step 2: Connect power output of power module (V+ and V-) and power input of LP-2 via cable
Step 3: Connect RS485 interface according to actual situation (One 485 interface can connect to 32 devices at max.)
Step 4: Connect the Ethernet cable to LP-2 (please use shielded twisted pair or above)

Step 5: Install logger antenna
Step 6: Make sure the air switch is at opening status and connect to AC power
Step 7: Close air switch and check logger indicator lights

Inverter Connection
Connect to single inverter
Inverter communicate withLP-2 via RS485 (COM1/COM2/COM3/COM4)
Steps
1. Peel off the insulation of RS485 com line
2. Connect logger RS485A/RS485B interface to inverter via 485 com line
Connect to multiple inverters
Pro logger can connect to multiple inverters via hand in hand connection. The max. number of devices on each line is 32.
(If users want to connect to a weather station, please put the weather station at the end of the line.)
Parameter Settings
Connect logger to computer network port via cable (Power on the logger and turn off computer WiFi function)

Open a browser and enter 169.254.254.254 to go to configuration page
Mobile COM Parameter Settings
Modify APN and server direction according to the requirement

Set server direction and click Save.

If the address is 1, please enter 1-1.

Monitoring
7.1 Registration&Create a New Plant
Users can go to SOLARMAN Business Web/APP to check plant data and plant running status.
APP: Scan the QR code below to download SOLARMAN Business APP or go to Google Play/App Store and search
SOLARMAN Business to download.
Web: Domain name of platform: https://pro.solarmanpv.com/
Step 1: Open a browser and go to https://Pro.solarmanpv.com/ or go to SOLARMAN Business APP.Click Register

Step 2: Log in to SOLARMAN platform, click “Create a Plant” in the upper-right corner and enter plant information here.
Step 3: Go to a target plant, click “Add” in the upper-right corner, select “Gateway/Logger”, and enter device SN here.
7.2 Data Checking
Users can go to SOLAMMAN Business Web/APP to check plant data.
Type plant name in the search box to search.
Log in to SOLARMAN Business APP, click “Business”-”Monitor”-”Plant” to check plant data.
