1. Safety instructions
This device is suitable for indoor use only.
All modifications to the device will void the warranty.
Repairs are to carry out by skilled personnel only.
Use only fuses of the same type and original parts as spare parts.
Protect the unit from rain and humidity to avoid fire and electric shocks.
Make sure to unplug the power supply before opening the housing.
1.1. FOR SAFE AND EFFICIENT OPERATION
Be careful with heat and extreme temperature
Avoid exposing it to direct rays of the sun or near a heating appliance.
Not put it in a temperature bellow 32°F /0°C, or exceeding 104°F /40°C.
Keep away from humidity, water and dust
Do not place the set in a location with high humidity or lots of dust.
Containers with water should not be placed on the set.
Keep away from sources of hum and noise
Such as transformer motor, tuner, TV set and amplifier.
To avoid placing on un-stable location
Select a level and stable location to avoid vibration.
Do not use chemicals or volatile liquids for cleaning
Use a clean dry cloth to wipe off the dust, or a wet soft cloth for stubborn dirt.
If out of work, contact sales agency immediately
Any troubles arose, remove the power plug soon, and contact with an engineer for repairing, do not
open the cabinet by yourself, it might result a danger of electric shock.
Take care with the power cable
Never pull the power cable to remove the plug from the receptacle, be sure
to hold the plug. When not using the device for an extended period of time, be sure to disconnect the
plug from the receptacle.

Important: Damages caused by the disregard of this user manual are not subject to
warranty. The dealer will not accept liability for any resulting defects or
problems. Make sure the electrical connection is carried out by qualified
personnel. All electrical and mechanical connections have to be carried out
according to the European safety standards.
- Before using: Make sure that there are no external damages.
- The minimum distance to flammable objects is 0,2m
- For vertical operation, the equipment complies with IP63 standard.
- There can be a maximum housing-temperature of tc=45°C.
- Don´t plug an audio or DMX device to the XLR plug. It can cause permanent damages of the
devices.
- Because of is lead gel battery you are not allowed to dispose it of in household waste.
- This battery is a high-quality product with approval of medical devices.
- The „Amptown“-Flightcase (optional) corresponds to the IP20 standard.
Important:
Every 3 weeks should be a regeneration charging to take place to avoid damaging the
battery.
2. Commissioning
Push the ON button on the IR remote control. The unit turns on and is ready for operation.
2.1. Charging
Connect the LED headlamp with the included power supplyIn the event you have bought a “Tourpack”
you can connect the device with pre-installed XLR connectors.
While charging the LED headlamp should be turned off, otherwise there can be no sufficient charge.
The loading process can take up to 10 hours, depending on the remaining charge of the battery.
If you turn the switch on the charging rail you can see the state of charge for every battery (only
possible with the “Tourpack”).

4. Wireless DMX
Only available if you bought the version “Pico IR Wireless“, otherwise you only can control the device
with the remote control.
LED display and its meaning
Permanently off = not connected to the transmitter
Permanently on = connected with the transmitter / DMX is transmitted
900ms on/ 100ms off = connected with the transmitter / No DMX signal
100ms on/ 100ms off = loose connection / Connection is perpared
4.1. Setting the DMX address
You can set the DMX address with the help of a binary system on the “Dipswitch“.In this cause the
“Dip” 10 is the set function. Switch the “Dip” 10 to on to release the connection to the wireless solution
transmitter. Switch the “Dip” then again to off.

7. Maintenance
Opening the device may only be performed by technical personnel only!
- Remove the caps which are on the handle with a flat screwdriver.
- Among them are two screws, unscrew them and remove the handle.
- Now you can pull out the whole inner part down.
