WARNING To avoid overheating or permanent damage
to the inverter, do not use with applicances that consume
more than 150W. It should also not be used with inductive
loads, including ourescent lamps, products that generate
heat (such as heaters, toasters, coffee makers or hair dryers),
or pumps.
Examples of typical consumption (for reference only):
notebook computer 50 watts
cell phone charger 25 watts
portable printer 30 watts
Please refer to the device manual before connecting any
device to the power inverter.

power requirements
DC power source requirements
The power inverter must only be connected to a power
source with a nominal output voltage of 12 volts. The unit
will not operate from a 6 volt source and will be damaged
if it is connected to a 24 volt source. The power source
must provide 11–15.5 volts DC. The power source may
be a battery or other well-regulated 12 V DC power
supply. If you are connecting to a cigarette lighter, check
your vehicle’s owner manual before connecting the power
inverter.
AC power load guidelines
Most electrical tools, appliances and audio/video
equipment have labels that indicate the power consumption
in amperes (A) or watts (W). Be sure that the continuous
power consumption of the item(s) you wish to operate is
rated at 150 watts or less. If the power consumption is rated
in amperes, simply multiply by the AC voltage output of the
inverter (110 V) to determine the wattage. For example, a
power drill rated at 1 A will draw 110 W. Do not use the
power inverter to operate products that require more than
150 watts of continuous power.

6
USB power port
The USB power port puts out a maximum of 500 mA at
5 V DC. If your USB device draws more current than this it
will not work.
product operating tips
Do not leave devices connected and turned on when the•
vehicle is not running. The vehicle battery may become
drained.
Unplug the power inverter when not in use.•
When using the inverter in your car, disconnect it before•
starting the car to avoid power surges which could
damage the inverter.
Use the USB power port to charge your iPod or other•
USB-powered devices.
Use the 2 to 3-prong adapter when charging a 3-prong•
device to ensure it is safely grounded.
