charge unit for
about
8 hours.

Bluetooth position (right).
2.
Press
and hold
the<!>
Button
to
turn
on
the
unit (release when<!> light appears blue).
3.
Turn
on Bluetooth capability on your device and make
it
discoverable
(see
your device's
instructions to
add
or setup a Bluetooth device).
4.
Press
and
hold
the
Bluetooth/Speakerphone
Button
on
the
unit until a blue 0 light flashes
on
the
button and the unit beeps twice to indicate pairing attempt.
The
blue light will flash
while
the
unit attempts to pair.
If
your device
asks
for a password, enter
1234
on
the
keyboard of your device.lf no device
is
paired within 2 minutes,
the
<!>Button
will
glow
red for 2 seconds and
the
unit will
power
off.
If
this
occurs, retry steps 2-4.
5.
Once
paired with a device,
the
blue 0 light will
glow
steadily. There should be an
indication
on
your device that pairing
is
complete.
On
some devices, you
must
then
select
"use
as
a stereo
audio
device" or similiar on
the
device's Bluetooth menu.
Once
paired,
your device should link to
the
iDM
15
whenever within range.

Move

to the Bluetooth position to listen to
audio
streamed wirelessly from your paired iPad, iPhone, iPod or other Bluetooth device.

and Right speakers using

stereo connection cable.

as
the unit
searches for a previously paired device, and then

call.
The
right
speaker
(which
contains
the
speakerphone
mic)
is
muted
during
a
speakerphone
call;
only
the
left
speaker
emits
audio.

Connect
the

speakers
using
the

mm
stereo
connection
cable.
Speakerphone
cannot
operate
unless
both
speakers
are
connected
together.

sure

completely charged. Check that all connections are correct and properly plugged
in.

properly paired with
the
iDM
15.

Make
sure
the
Travel
lock/
Aux/Biuetooth
Switch
is
not
in
the

as
this
will disable
operation.
Trouble
pairing
device/
computer
with
iDM
15
Bluetooth implementation varies depending

your computer's hardware and operating
system.

sure

QUICK BLUETOOTH CONNECTION GUIDE
BEFORE YOU START
C)Biuetooth

Your Bluetooth device (cellphone, MP3 player,
computer,
etc.) must support the HSP, HFP,
A2DP
and AVRCP Bluetooth profiles (commonly known as hands free and stereo audio
profiles) to work with the iHome iDM15. Many
of
the
latest
mobile phones and PCs with
built-in Bluetooth
functionality
will
support
this profile.
For
accurate
information
about
your
product, please refer to your Bluetooth device's user manual for details on the Bluetooth profiles
it supports and on how to set the device's Bluetooth pairing/searching/setup mode.
ABOUT
PAIRING
Pairing is the term used when wirelessly connecting
two
Bluetooth devices for the first time.
This allows the devices to "see" each other and creates a unique lasting connection between
the specific devices.
PAIRING & LINKING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE WITH THE iDM15
1)
Make sure your Bluetooth device
is
fully charged. Turn it
on.
2) Make sure the
Bluetooth
switch
on
the back ofthe iDM15 is
in
the Bluetooth (left) postion.
Press and hold the Power
Button
to turn
on
the iDM15
(release
when
blue
light
appears).
3)
Turn
on
Bluetooth functionality
on
your Bluetooth device. Typically, Bluetooth controls are
found
on
the device's tools or settings menu (see
Y.our
user manual). Turn
on
Bluetooth
connectivity and make your device "discoverable". .
4) Press and hold the Play/Pause/Pairing
Button
located
on
top ofthe unit to put the iDM
15
in
pairing mode (release when the blue 0 light
on
the iDM15 begins flashing and 2 beeps sound).

Choose "add a new Bluetooth device"
or
"setup
Bluetooth
device"
on
your device. It will start to search. If the pairing
attempt fails or times out (after 2 minutes), the iDM15 power light will turn red and the unit will shut off. Power it on
again and start pairing procedure again (see steps
2-
4).
6) After your device and the iDM15 have discovered each other, a "Pairing Successful" or similar message should
appear
on
your device and the blue 0 light
on
the iDM15 should stop flashing and glow steadily
blue.
If your
device prompts you for a pass code, please enter 1234.
On
some devices such as computers, once paired you must
select the iDM15 from the Bluetooth menu and choose "Use as Audio Device (stereo)" or similar.
7)
Pairing remains intact when the iDM15 and/or the Bluetooth device
is
powered off or
is
taken out of link range (30
feet). To re-establish
an
active connection when your Bluetooth device returns within range,press the Play/Pause/Pairing
button.
8) The
next
time
the
iDM15
is
powered
on
it
will automatically try to re-establish a link with the most recently linked Bluetooth
device. Ifyour device does not support auto-linking OR was not the last linked
to
the iDM
15,
you must
re-I
ink manually
by selecting iDM15 from the Bluetooth device's menu
on
your Bluetooth device or by pressing the Play/Pause/Pairing
button
on
the iDM15.
