STC SA00504SE
STC SA00504SE is a multiple STC for VFR/IFR installations of Apollo GX50 TSO-C129 A1
(Supplemental Oceanic, Enroute, Terminal, and Non-Precision Approach operations) GPS,
Apollo GX60 Combined TSO-C129 A1 GPS and TSO C-37d, C-38d, and C-128 VHF Airband
Communications Radio, or Apollo GX65 Combined TSO-C129 A2 (Supplemental Oceanic,
Enroute, and Terminal operations) GPS and TSO C-37d, C-38d, and C-128 VHF Airband
Communications Radio in Partenavia P68 Series aircraft. This STC is acceptable data for similar
installations in other types of aircraft. The data provided with the Apollo GX50, GX60, or
GX65, and this STC, should be adequate for nearly any follow-on aircraft installation.
Follow-on installations, in other types of aircraft, should follow the appropriate guidance in FAA
AC 20-138 for GPS navigation and in AC 20-67b for VHF Comm radios (or the most recent
version of this FAA guidance document).
This STC, and the data associated with it, may be used with this written permission of
II Morrow Inc. by II Morrow dealers, installers, and customers for the sole and express
purpose of installation and approval of installation of II Morrow Apollo systems only.
This STC is provided along with FAA-approved STC data.
The STC data includes an FAA approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement or Supplemental
Airplane Flight Manual (for IFR installations). This may be used as a guideline in the
preparation of AFM Supplements or Supplemental Flight Manuals for follow-on installation
approval.
NOTE: An AFM Supplement is not normally required for VFR Limited installations as long
as a placard is provided: "GPS Limited to VFR use only" in accordance with AC 20-
138 paragraph 7.c.(1)(ii) (D). Refer to AC 20-138 paragraph 9.a. "Flight Manual
Supplement".
