Skyline Bird Spike Installation Guide

Tools Needed
Drill with 8/32 Hex Head Nut Driver Bit

Installation Steps
1. Trim the Bird Spike (A) with hacksaw as shown in Figure 2. Please note that one section contains 6 segments,
and one contains 7 segments. Discard the remaining 3 segments.
2. Remove and discard the existing two screws that are in the center of the Fixture (B). Align the Bracket (C) with
the Fixture (B) such that the Screws (D) align with the existing screw holes in the Fixture (C). Use the provided
Screws (D) to fasten the Bracket (C) down. Ensure that the PEMs are facing upwards as shown in Figure 1.
3. Place the Bird Spikes (A) onto the fixture, ensure that they are in the correct position. Then use the provided
Locknuts (E) to fasten the Bird Spikes (A) down.
4. Inspect the fixture to make sure that both screws (D) and locknuts (E) are fully tightened, and the bird spikes
Bracket (C) is rigid.
