Using the EM8300 integrated MPEG2 decoder chip
from Sigma Designs®, the DVD Player PCI add-in card
works with your existing graphics card/subsystem to
produce full-screen, full-frame-rate MPEG2 (DVD) video.
Dolby Digital sound
Plays clear, crisp Dolby Digital audio. Connect
DVD Player's S/P-DIF output to a Dolby Digital
decoder/amplifier for six channels of Dolby Digital
(5.1) surround sound. DVD Player also supports
Dolby Pro Logic and stereo audio output.
Multiple video picture formats
Supports full screen and video in a window in all
four DVD video formats: full frame (4:3 video for
a 4:3 display), letterbox (16:9 video for a 4:3 display),
