Place your iSyncWave
Important considerations for placing your iSyncWave for the use:
Optimal environment to operate the device is quiet and unattended area
for the instructor and the client to be relaxed and be at ease.
iSyncWave Setup
1. Remove the cover
2. Preparations
3. Turn on the Device
4. Recharge
Connect the sensors to each side
Push the button at the left side of helmet
to turn the device on
Connect the C-type battery charger
to the Device to charge the product.
It may take up to three hours
for maximum charge.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Replacing the Electrodes
1. Turn off the iSyncWave.
2. Gently brush electrodes with Isopropyl alcohol.
3. Dry the iSyncWave completely before use.
4. Turn the iSyncWave back on and continue with brainwave measurement.
*Do not use ammonia or acetone to clean the electrodes or the surface
1. After two hundred or more measurements, check the electrode condition
if the Silver chloride coating has been ripped or come off.
2. Check the substitute electrodes for the replacement.
3. Place the new electrodes on the device.
4. Turn the device back on.
5. Check the signal quality with the new electrodes.
6. Continue with the brainwave measurements.
The device shall be cleaned and disinfected as the electrodes along
with the inner surfaces of iSyncWave, in which multiple contacts are made with the skin and hair.

• The following device and its systems are intended for a person who understands
the content written in English and understands the physical principle of EEG
or has received relevant training.
• Read all instructions and labels including this manual before operating the device.
• Refer to the user manual for the information on the recommended
tablet specications, operating system, and the requirements of those settings.
• iSyncWave is recommended to be operated by designated
personnel who received adequate training.
• Do not modify the device without consulting the iMediSync representative.
iMediSync will not be responsible for any malfunction or system failure
corresponding to any unauthorized modication and the warranty will be void.

Runtime • The manager of the device shall provide a safe environment
for a typical EEG system compliant to EN 60601-1-1 requirements.
• Always clean the electrodes after each or multiple measurements
according to the cleaning instructions.
• For electrode channels that has persistent problems with signal quality,
check the status of the electrode coating.
• In case of electrode replacements, only use the electrodes provided by the iMediSync, Inc.
Maintenance

Precautions
1. Do not attach or detach any device components while the device
is on to prevent any damage to the system or components.
Turn off the device when attaching ordetaching any components to the device.
2. Do not use acetone or any other cleaning solvents to clean the device
3. Keep the battery charged. If the battery is discharged,
it may take a longer time to fully charge the device.
4. Do not immerse the device into any liquid.
5. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, near the source
of thermal radiation, moisture, vibration, mechanical shock,
excessive dust, or humidity
6. Do not use when the device is wet, if any moisture penetrates
the device, have the device checked by the iMediSync representative.
7. Do not use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device or electrodes.
8. Do not charge when the patient/subject is equipped - wearing the device.
9. Do not excessively pull or overstress the device as it may break the device.
10. Do not sit or place a heavy object on the device.
11. Do not use the device in an environment with strong
electromagnetic interference.
Safety
• The device and the other features shall not be operated if the device is mechanically
damaged to avoid any risk of electrical shock
• The battery used in this device may present a re or chemical burn hazard if mismanaged.
To ensure battery safety: a. Do not detach or disassemble the battery from the device. b.
Replace the battery at the Service Center designated by the iMediSync or the representative.
• The damaged device and/or components shall not be used and be requested for repair service.

• Safety precautions to avoid hazards in the vent of inadequate hygiene or
if the subject contacts the device contaminated with a toxic substance,
stop using the device and contact the iMediSync Customer Support.
• Turn on the device for the safety of the user/subject before wearing it.
• Turn off the device for the safety of the user/subject before wearing it.
• Do not use the device with HF surgical equipment to protect the patient against burns.
• Do not use the device with a debrillator
• The conductive parts of the electrode should not contact the other conductive
partsincluding the earth.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class II
medical device in South Korea, pursuant to KFDA’s Electroencephalograph Rules.
