1. The luminaire shall be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latess IEE
electrical regulations or the national requirements.
2. No supplied water-proof box, installation should be adviced by qualified professional.
3. The external flexible cable can not be replaced. If the cable is damaged, the luminaire should be
discarded.

1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.1. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING
This luminaire left the factory in perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition and to
ensure safe operation, it is necessary for the user to follow the safety instructions and warning
notes written in this user manual.
Instructions pertaining to a risk of fire or injury to persons
--- During use, luminaires are hot, turn off/unplug and allow to cool before handling luminaire
--- Do not touch hot lenses, guard or enclosure of the luminaire.
--- Keep luminaire away from materials that may burn
--- Do not operate the luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged cover
If the luminaire has been exposed to temperature changes due to environmental changes, do not
switch it on immediately. The resulting condensation could damage the luminaire. Leave the
luminaire switched off until it has reached room temperature.
This luminaire falls under protection-class I, it is essential that the luminaire be earthed.
Should the lens of the luminaire be damaged or crack, it must be replaced.
Any electric connection must be performed by qualified persons.
Ensure that the available voltage is not higher than AC 100-277V, 50/60Hz
The power cord must never be trapped or damaged by sharp edges. If this happens it must be
replaced and the replacement of the cable must be perfromed by an authorized dealer.
If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be replaced by the
manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

1.2. GENERAL GUIDELINES
Do not shake the luminaire.
Avoid brute force when installing or operating the luminaire.
Operate the luminaire only after having familiarized yourself with its functions.
Do not permit operation by persons not qualified to operate the luminaire.
Please use the original packaging if the luminaire is to be transported back to the manufacturer or
dealer for service.
Should this luminaire be operated in any way other than as described in this manual, the
luminaire may suffer damage and the warranty become void. Furthermore, such operation may
lead to short-circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

5.1. Mounting Options
Be sure this fixture is kept at least 0.1m away from any flammable materials.
Overhead mounting requires extensive experience, including amongst others calculating working
load limits, a fine knowledge of the installation material being used, and periodic safety
inspection of all installation material and the fixture. If you lack these qualifications, do not
attempt the installation yourself. Improper installation can result in bodily injury.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The following points have to be considered during the inspection:
-- All screws for installing the luminaire or parts of the luminaire have to be tight and screws
must not be corroded.
-- There must not be any deformation to the housing, lenses, or fixing points (ceiling, suspension,
trussing).
-- The electric power supply cables must not show any physical damage, material fatigue.
-- Please use a moist, lint-free cloth when cleaning the luminaire
-- Never use alcohol or solvents.
-- Should any spare parts be required, please order genuine parts from your local dealer.
