Funktions- und Bedienungsanleitung
Der Signograph arbeitet nach dem Vibrationsprinzip unter Ausnützung
der Frequenz
des Wechselstroms. Die Schwingungen des Stichels graviereneine Reihezahl-
reicher Punkte, die sich zu einerglatten Linie verschmelzen.
Jeder Werkstoff wie Eisen, Stahl, Glas, Buntmetall, Stein, Keramik, Kunststoff, Holz
usw. ist zur Gravur geeignet.
Der Anschluß des Gerätes erfolgt direkt an die Steckdose. Bitte Betriebsspannung
auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes beachten.
Der Signograph ist wartungstrei und doppelschutzisoliert. Wenn die Anschlusslei-
tung beschädigt ist, musssie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder
einer ähnlich qualifizierten Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät erstmal auf einem Abfallstück. Nehmen Sie den Signo-
graph wie einen Bleistift richtig in die Hand, mit möglichst senkrechter Spitze auf
dem Material.
Die schönsten Gravuren erreichen Sie, wenn Sie langsam und ohne Druck schreiben.
Kleine Werkstücke werden am besten festgespannt. Glas und Keramik auf weicher
Unterlage gravieren.
Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) ge-
eignet, die übereingeschränkte körperliche, sensorische oder mentale Fähigkeiten
oderübermangelnde Erfahrung und Kenntnisse verfügen, es sei denn, ihr Ge-
brauch des Gerätes wird durch eine Person,diefürderen Sicherheit verantwortlich
ist, entsprechend beaufsichtigt oder angeleitet. Kinder sind zu beaufsichtigen, um
sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Mode d'emploi et principe de fonctionnement
Les signograph travaille par vibrations. Celles-ci sont obtenues par la fréquence du
courant alternatif. Les vibrations de la pointe tracent une rangée de points qui
forment un trait continu.
Divers matériaux tels que le fer, I’acier, les alliages le verre, les céramiques, le plas-
tique, le bois, etc. ... peuvent être travaillés avec l’appareil.
L’appareilestàalimenter par un courant de même tension que cellequi est
indiquéesur sa plaque d’identification.
Le signograph ne nécessite aucun entretien. Ses organes électriques sont
protégés par doubleisolation. Si la ligne de raccordement est endommagée, elle
doit être échangée par le fabricant ou le service après-vente ou une autre personne
d’une qualification similaire pour éviter des risques.
Il est recommandé de commencer par un essai sur une chute ou un objet sans intérêt.
Conduire le signograph comme un crayon, verticalement, la pointe dirigée sur le
support à travailler.
Pour obtenir un tracé régulier, guider la pointe lentement sans appuyer.
Les pièces de petite taille se travaillentmieux quand elles sont prises dans un
dispositif de serrage. Pour les pièces en verre et en céramique, il est recommandé
de
travailler sur fondmou.
Description and Operating Instructions
SIGNOGRAPHworks on the principle ot vibration and utilises the A. C. frequencies.
The oscillations of the stylus willpunch a row of numerous
dots which shape into a
straight, smooth line.
Any material like iron, steel, glass, nonferrous metal, stone, ceramic plastic, wood,
etc. will be foundsuitable for engraving.
The SIGNOGRAPH is pluggeddirectly into mains. Please check voltage with
makers’ specification.
The SIGNOGRAPH requires no maintenanceand is doubly insulated for added
protection.
If the connecting line is damaged, it has to be exchanged by the manufacturer or its
after-sales service or another person of a similar qualification in order to avoid threats.
Familiarize yourself with the SIGNOGRAPHusing a piece of scrap. Hold the
SIGNOGRAPH firmly like a pencil, pointing vertically at the material to be engraved.
Best results are obtained by writing slowly and without exerting pressure.
Smaller pieces are preferably jigged, glass and ceramic held on a soft padding.
Thisappliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experienceand knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Functie- en gebruiksaanwijzing
De Signograph werkt volgens het vibratieprincipe door het benutten van de
frekwentie van wisselstroom.
De bewegingen van de naald produceren talrijke stippen, die samensmelten tot
een gladde lijn.
Elk materiaal, zoals ijzer, staal, glas, steen, keramiek, plastic, hout enz. kan gegra-
veerd worden.
Aansluiting direct op een stopcontact.
Let op! De op het typeplaatje aangegeven werkspanning aanhouden.
De Signograph is vrij van onderhoud en dubbel geïsoleerd.
Als de verbindingsleiding beschadigd is, moet deze – om risico’s te vermijden –
door de fabrikant, de klantenservice of een op ditgebiedgekwalificeerde persoon
worden vervangen.
Gebruik het apparaateerst op een stuk afvalmateriaal.
Neem de Signograph als een pen, goed in de hand. De graveerstift liefst vertikaal
op het materiaal.
De beste gravuren worden bereikt wanneer U langzaam en zonder druk graveert.
Kleinewerkstukken liefst vastspannen.
Glas en keramiek op een zachte ondergrond graveren.

El Signograph trabaja según el principio de la vibración utlizando la frecuencia de la
corriente alterna. Las oscilaciones de la punta grabadora hacen una hilera de
numerosos puntos que se funden en una linea contínua.
Los materiales como el hierro, acero, vidrio, metales varios, piedra, cerámica, plástico,
madera etc. son apropiados para grabar.
El Signograph se conecta directamente al enchufe. Es imprescindible
revisar la
corriente operativa que se indica en la etiqueta de características.
El Signographnonecesita mantenimiento y tienedoble aislante protector.
Si el cable de conexión está dañado, para evitar peligros, éste tiene que ser sustitu-
ido por el fabricanteopor el servicio técnicoopor alunga persona cualificada.
Recomendamos utlizar primero el Signograph en un trozo de muestra. El
Signograph se debe coger con la mano igual que un lapiz, con la punta en posición
vertical respecto al material.
Los mejoresresultados se obtienen si la grabación se realizalentamente y sin presión.
Los materiales de tamañopequeñodeben fijarse a la mesa de trabajo.
Los materiales como el vidrio y la cerámicadeben colocarsesobre una superficie
suave mientras se efectúa el proceso de grabación.

O Signograph funciona segundooprincípio das vibrações aproveitando a frequên-
cia da corrente alterna. As vibrações da ponta do buril gravam uma série
de inúme-
ros pontos que se fundemuns nos outros, formando uma linha contínua.
Todos os materiais tais como ferro, aço, vidro, metais não ferrosos, pedra,
cerâmica, plástico, madeira, etc. são adequados para gravação.
A ligação do aparelhoéefectuada directamente na tomada. Verificar se a voltagem
de rede coincide com a indicada na chapa de dados.
O Signographdispensamanutenção e possuiduplo isolamento. Para evitar
perigos,ocabo de conexão tem que ser substituído, no casodeste estar
danificado, pelo fabricante ou pelo serviço técnico ou por outra pessoa para tal
qualificada.
Para testar o aparelho, usá-lo primeironumpedaço de material para deitar fora.
Pegar no Signograph tal como se pegaria num lápis, mantendo a ponta tanto quan-
to possível em posição vertical em relação ao material a gravar.
Para conseguir as mais belasgravuras, fazer a gravação devagar e sem pressão.
No caso de pequenas peças de arte, o melhor é fixá-las bem. Gravar vidro e
cerâmicasobre uma base mole.

L’incisore Signograph lavora in base al principio delle vibrazioni sfruttando la
frequenza della corrente alternata. Le oscillazionidelbulinoincidono una fila di

Ogni tipo di materiale come ferro, acciaio, vetro, metallo non ferroso, pietra,
ceramica, plastica, legno, ecc. è adatto all’incisione.
L’allacciamento dell’apparecchio avvienedirettamente nella presa elettrica. Si
prega di osservare la tensione d’esercizio riportata sulla targhetta dell’apparecchio.
Il Signograph non necessita di manutenzione ed è dotato di un isolamento a doppia
protezione.
Qualora il cavo di allacciamento fosse danneggiato, per evitare pericoli deve essere
sostituito a cura del produttoreodel suo servizio clienti oppure da una persona con
qualifiche analoghe.
La prima volta che utilizzate l’apparecchio servitevi di un pezzo di scarto. Prendete
in mano correttamente il Signograph come una matita avendo cura di mantenere la
punta il più possibile in verticale sopra il materiale.
Per incisioniimpeccabili scrivere lentamenteesenza esercitare pressione.
I materiali piccoli vengono bloccati in posizione in maniera ottimale. Inciderevetro e
ceramica servendosi di una base morbida.
Si sconsiglia l’uso di questo apparecchio a persone (bambiniinclusi) con capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali limitate oppure con esperienza e conoscenze insuffi-
cienti, a meno che l’utilizzo dell’apparecchio venga sorvegliatoodiretto da una
persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza. I bambini necessitano di sorveglianza
per garantire che non giochino con l’apparecchio.

A legszebb metszeteket úgy éri el, ha lassan és nyomás gyakorlása nélkül dolgozik.
Javasoljuk,hogyakisebbmunkadarabokat a gravírozáselőtt rögzítse. Az üveget
ésakerámiátagravírozás alatt helyezze puha felületre.
