Care & Maintainance
You have just acquired a high quality and expensive piece of furniture and are about
to put it in the most hostile environment in the house! We have been producing
these fine products for many years and our experiance is that they will give years of
pleasurable service if a few simple measures are taken to look after them.
Bathroom furniture can be wiped over using a damp lint free cloth and dried with a soft
duster to prevent watermarks. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or cloths such as linen
cloths and paper towels as these will scratch. Under no circumstances should solvent cleaning
agents such as nitro-based thinners, acetone, nail polish remover or similar products be used.
The use of polishes using silicone or any abrasive materials can damage the wood finish.
Natural wax polishes should be used sparingly and applied using a soft dry cloth.
Always use your best efforts to keep the wood surface dry. The finish will
deteriorate and the underlying timber could become permanently stained if
subjected to long term contact with water.

Glass or mirrored panels cleaned using a non-solvent based glass cleaner and soft cloth.
Avoid liquid running to the base of the mirror as this can cause damage to the mirror and
furniture and invalidate any warranty.
Failure to follow these guidline will result in your guarantee being invalidated.
Installation & Technical Specs
We recommend that all products are purchased with the assistance of a specialist bathroom
retailer and always installed by an experianced installer who is member of a recognised
plumbing/electrical association.
All natural wood finishes mature with age and colours may vary slightly from batch to batch
or from panel to panel. It is therefore not always possible to achieve a precise colour match
when additional items are added at a later date.
Imperial Bathrooms furniture is produced from a combination of solid wood and wood vaneer
panels, and all sizes quoted are nominal and must be checked against actual product. The timber
used is supplied from renewable sources and whilst every care is taken in the manufacture of
wooden products inevitably there will always be variation in both colour and grain pattern
between individual pieces - indeed this is part of the beauty and unique appeal of using a natural
material. Where frosted glass is a feature, only toughened safety glass is used.
Great care is taken to ensure that products supplied by Imperial are supplied to you in perfect
condition. Your purchases should, however, be checked for manufacturing defects or damage
before any installation work is carried out. We are unable to accept responsibility for any defect
which was evident before or has occured as a result of installation.
