Cleaning and storage
•Wash and rinse by hand after every use. Wash thoroughly before first use. Not dishwasher safe.
•Never put the coffee maker or its parts in an oven or microwave.
•Coffee maker should not be used for heating water or cooking food.
•Keep hands and fingers away from the hand-mill grinder when in use. Hold onto the handle only.
•Keep out of reach of children and infants. Do not use in areas where a child or infant may come in
contact with the hot water or hand-mill grinder.
•Use hand-mill grinder only for grinding coffee. Hand-mill grinder may be damaged if used for grinding
anything other than whole coffee beans.
•To prevent burns and injury, keep the coffee maker on a flat level surface while in use.
•Always use care when consuming hot drinks. Hot liquids can cause burns.
•Storing coffee in the cup or tumbler for long periods of time may cause discoloration.
•Remove coffee grounds and rinse the filter dripper under running water until clean. Used coffee
grounds can be saved for use as mulch or compost.
•Disassemble coffee maker and wash by hand with a sponge and gentle detergent after each use. Rinse
and dry thoroughly. Cleaning after every use will keep your coffee maker like new for a long time.
• Do not place coffee maker in the dishwasher. Heat will cause damage and discoloration.
•Do not use steel wool, bleach or cleaners containing chlorine for cleaning the coffee maker. Using
bleach or cleaners containing chlorine may result in discoloration.
•Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembly. Assembling wet parts can lead to water spots or
rust on the stainless steel pieces.
•Cleaning and drying the coffee maker immediately after use will help increase its service life by
preventing odor and discoloration.
• If the coffee maker develops rust spots, water spots, odor or discoloration, soak in watered-down
vinegar, then clean with a soft cloth or sponge. You can also use baking powder or gentle detergent
for cleaning the stainless steel parts.
