FAQ
Q: The display on the Remote unit has turned black after direct sunlight exposure. It
is not possible to read anything. What can I do? (Fig. 6)
A: This happens when the display has been exposed to direct sunlight thus warming
up. Such heat makes the display turn black. Put the Remote Unit in a cool place away
from direct sunlight and it will slowly turn back to normal.
Q: The Remote Unit shows (- - - -) on the display, and the Meter unit is plugged in.
What does that mean? (Fig.7)
(Fig. 5)
(Fig. 7)
(Fig. 6)

14
A: The device is out of range. Move the Remote Unit closer to the Meter Unit and it will show once again the
power measurement. Although the wireless range is 10m line-of-sight, it can be the case that walls, furniture
or other objects in the way can obstruct and reduce the transmission signal.
Q: The Remote Unit shows (- O L -) on the display, and the appliance plugged in the
meter has switched off. What can I do? (Fig. 8)
A: The appliance plugged in the meter consumers more than 2300W so the
«Click - STANDBYKILLER» will automatically shut down to prevent and electrical
damage. To reset the device, unplug the meter unit from the wall outlet, remove
overloading appliances and plug it in again. It will return to normal operation.
Q: If the Remote Unit goes off because it was kept in the dark for a long time, will
the Meter unit switch off too?
A: No. The Meter Unit remains on even if the solar power is too small or the Remote is out of range or even
switched off.
