01 – Introduction
This manual is a guide for the correct and safe use and maintenance of the RH65 ramp.
Complying with the contents of the instruction manual ensures a long useful-life of the machine
and respecting the safety standards prevents the most common types of accidents that could
occur during work or maintenance.
The instructions included in this manual do not guarantee work safety and do not exempt the
operator from following any safety standards, laws, rules or local and national regulations.
The service standards presented in this manual are valid exclusively for mobile levelers when
loading and unloading trucks.
In the event of losing this instruction and maintenance manual, a copy must be requested
specifically for this machine. This manual must always be kept with the machine for
consultation purposes at any given moment or if any doubt arises regarding the use of the
machine.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the machine's operation, placement or maintenance.
The operator is responsible for good safety and maintenance practices.
The operator is responsible for reading and understanding this manual prior to using the
machine.
Cautiousness and an adequately trained use not only protects the operator from accidents but
also the personnel who depend on its work.
The information included in this manual is valid from the moment of its publication.
All photographs and drawings are generic and therefore may vary due to the continued research
and development carried out by INKEMA
Consult the Technical Department if any discrepancy arises.
This manual is an integral part of the machine and must be attached to it when sold.

03 – Instructions for use
03.01 – Before use
Visually check that the leveler is in perfect working condition.
To raise the leveler to the load surface level, connect the handling circuit by turning the Red
button. The green LED will light up.
To raise the leveler, press and maintain the elevation button.
The handling circuit is disconnected by turning the Red button. The green LED will switch off.
Center the vehicle against the leveler.
Make sure that the vehicle is perfectly immobilized and blocked (stop the engine, set the
emergency brake and block the wheels).
Connect the handling circuit by turning the Red button. The green LED will light up. Press the
elevation button again for an instant to unblock the leveler and start the descent. The leveler will
lower by means of its own weight at a controlled speed.
Allow the leveler to lower gradually and support it using the truck's load surface.
Check that the entire width of the lip is firmly supported on the vehicle's load surface. The load
surface must be NO WIDER than 130 mm.
Attach the leveler chains to the truck so the leveler cannot move.
03.02 – During use
The leveler will be completely supported on t he load surface of the truck. The hydraulic
cylinders shall NOT be kept blocked so the leveler can adapt to the height of the load surface,
which will vary in accordance with the truck's suspension variation.
Make sure that the emergency stop is NOT activated and that the leveler is connected to the
power supply.

VERY IMPORTANT:
Carrying out loading or unloading operations are strictly forbidden while the emergency
stop is activated or while the leveler is not being supplied by any power.
Never overload the maximum nominal load (see characteristics plaque).
Make sure that the leveler does not lose its support on the load surface during load transport. If
it loses its support, immediately activate the emergency stop.
Trucks must move with caution. The maximum transport speed calculated for the leveler is
10 km/hour.
03.03 – After use
Remove the chains attached to the truck.
Raise the leveler and close the lip prior to the truck leaving its loading position. This is achieved
by pushing the elevation button and raising the leveler enough to clear the truck.
Block the leveler in this position by turning the selector to the OFF position. From this moment,
the truck can be removed.
Once the truck has been removed, turn the selector to the ON position and press the elevation
button to unblock the leveler and lower it to its lowest position.
03.04 – Precautions for use.
Make sure that the emergency stop is not activated.
Never overload the maximum nominal load (see characteristics plaque).
Prior to each maneuver, verify that there are no personnel in the work area.
Make sure that the leveler is properly supported on the truck's load surface while coupling the
entire lip on an approximated width of 130 mm.
The function of the hydraulic group is to perform the necessary movements in order to handle
the dock leveler only. It should never be used to support and/or raise loads.
Prior to raising the leveler, make sure that other equipment does not obstruct it (doors, etc. )

04 – Maintenance
The leveler's proper operation and long useful-life depend mostly on the preventive performed
maintenance.
Advanced maintenance must only be carried out by INKEMA Technical Support or authorized
personnel.
This type of maintenance is made with the aim of ensuring the product's safety and use from the
moment it is installed.
Any modification, repair or handling of the product that does not comply with these guidelines
will cancel the one-year warranty period as well as INKEMA responsibility with regard to the
product.
Continued greasing, painting and monitoring are the best guarantee to ensure a l ong and good
performance.
04.01 – Hydraulic oil
The hydraulic oil must be changed once every two years.
The oil must contain antifoaming, rust preventive and water absorption agents. If winter
temperatures are very low, low-density oil must be used with a stable viscosity index at low
temperatures.
Different oils must not be mixed as new oil may have a different oxidation resistance, thus
affecting the duration of the original oil.
Checking the oil level every 6 months is important. The oil tank must be filled until it almost
overflows the closing cap at its lowest position.
The machine comes equipped with HVI-32 oil.
The hydraulic oil for dock levelers that are in refrigerated warehouses must have the specific
properties for use with the temperature to which it is exposed. If this is the case, please inform
the manufacturer must be informed of the conditions in which the machine will work so it can
be equipped with special oil.
