WARNSYMBOLEN UND HINWEISEN
BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Der interne InLine® Cardreader ist für PC oder Mac geeignet und
kann Speicherkarten verschiedener Bauart lesen und beschreiben.
Weiterhin kann ein USB 2.0 Gerät über den USB A Port ange-
schlossen und betrieben werden.
ALLGEMEINE WARNHINWEISE:
• Setzen Sie den InLine® Cardreader keiner großen Hitze aus.
• Vor Staub und Feuchtigkeit schützen.
NICHT BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
Als nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung im Sinne einer vorher-
sehbaren Fehlanwendung gilt:
• Verwenden Sie den InLine® Cardreader nicht im Freien

INSTALLATION
Wenn Sie Zweifel haben, wie das Gerät korrekt zu installieren ist,
kontaktieren Sie bitte Ihren Händler oder eine Fachwerkstatt und
lassen Sie dort die Installation durchführen! Durch unsachgemäßen
Einbau können der Card Reader, Ihr Computer und andere ange-
schlossenen Geräte beschädigt werden.
Schalten Sie den Computer aus, in dem das Produkt in-
stalliert werden soll, sowie auch alle angeschlossenen
Geräte. Trennen Sie alle Geräte von der Netzspannung,
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker! Das Betätigen des Ein-/Ausschalters
reicht hierfür nicht aus!
Öffnen Sie Ihr PC-Gehäuse, entnehmen Sie dies ggf. der Bedie-
nungsanleitung des entsprechenden Geräts.
Suchen Sie einen freien 3,5“-Einbauschacht und entfernen Sie die
Abdeckung des Steckplatzes. Oft gibt es eine Metall-Abschirmung
hinter der Kunststoffblende, die ebenfalls entfernt werden muss.
Je nach Gehäuse, muss diese mit Schrauben gelöst oder vorsich-
tig herausgebrochen und zudem die Frontblende des PC‘s demon-
tiert werden.
Abgesehen von der Slot-Abdeckung, die bereits auf den Card
Reader montiert ist, umfasst der Lieferumfang zwei weitere Front-
blenden in verschiedenen Farben. Abhängig von dem vorhande-
nen Computer Gehäuse, kann die Abdeckung einfach durch eine
andere ersetzt werden. Nun kann der Card Reader wie ein Disket-
tenlaufwerk in den freien Einbauschacht montiert werden.
Schließen Sie den 9-poligen USB-Stecker an einen internen
USB-Anschluss auf dem Mainboard. Es ist zwingend notwendig,
die richtige Ausrichtung zu beachten (siehe Betriebsanleitung des
Mainboards), da eine falsche Verbindung sowohl das Mainboard
als auch die Elektronik des 3,5“ Card Readers beschädigen kann!

Installieren Sie die Kabel so, dass sie nicht lose im Ge-
häuse hängen und z.B. von einem Lüfter erfasst werden
können, verwenden Sie Kabelbinder.
Schließen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres Computers.
Verbinden Sie Ihren Computer und Monitor mit der Netzspannung
und schalten Sie alle Geräte wieder ein.
Wenn Ihr Computer nicht korrekt bootet, so schalten Sie ihn sofort
wieder aus und kontrollieren Sie sämtliche Einstellungen und Ka-
belverbindungen. Der Computer muss vor dem Öffnen erneut vom
Stromnetz getrennt werden!

Tuch.
Verwenden Sie kein Wasser oder sonstige Reinigungsflüssigkei-
ten, die die Elektronik schädigen können.
ENTSORGUNG

mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Der Verbraucher ist gesetzlich

INTENDED USE
The internal InLine® card reader is suitable for PC or Mac and can
read and write to memory cards of different types. Furthermore,
a USB 2.0 device can be connected and operated via the USB A
port.
GENERAL WARNINGS:
• Do not expose the InLine® Card reader to excessive heat.
• Protect it from dust and moisture.
IMPROPER USE
Use other than for the intended purpose in the sense of a foresee-
able misuse:
• Do not use the InLine® card reader outdoors
This symbol indicates information which contributes to
a better understanding.
This symbol indicates that there are fundamental risks
to the health of persons.

INSTALLATION
If in doubt about how to install the device correctly, please contact
an expert or a specialist workshop and let them do the installation!
Improper installation damages the plug-in unit as well as your com-
puter and all connected devices.
Proceed with caution. Danger to life!
Switch off the computer in which the product is to be in-
stalled and all connected devices. Disconnect all devices
from the mains voltage and pull out the mains plug! Just turning off
at the on/off switch is not enough!
Open your computer’s housing and carefully remove the cover.
Look for a free 3.5” installation slot and remove the slot cover.
Often there is a metal shielding behind it, which must be removed
first. With some casings, you must unscrew this, with others you
must break it out carefully. Depending on the casing, you may have
to remove the entire front cover first.
Apart from the slot cover that is already mounted on the slot, the
scope of delivery includes two more front covers in different colors.
Depending on the existing computer housing, the slot cover can
easily be replaced by another one. Now you can install Card Rea-
der like a Floppy Disk Drive into empty slot.
Connect the 9-pin USB plug to an internal USB port on the main-
board. It is imperative to observe the correct orientation (see ope-
rating instructions for the mainboard) since a wrong connection
may damage both the mainboard and the electronics of the 3.5”
plug-in unit, loss of warranty (refer to below photo)!

Install the cables so that they do not protrude into any of
the computer’s fan, use cable ties, for example.
Close the computer housing.
Connect your computer and monitor to the mains voltage and
switch on all devices.
If your computer does not start correctly, switch it off again. Imme-
diately and check all the settings and cable connections. It must
be disconnected from the mains power supply before opening, see
above!

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Clean the InLine® 3in1 mouse with a dry, velvety cloth.
Do not use water or other cleaning fluids that may damage the
electronics.
DISPOSAL
Electrical and electronic equipment and batteries must not be dis-
posed of with household waste. The consumer is obliged by law to
return electrical and electronic equipment and batteries at the end
of their service life to the designated public collection points or to
the point of sale.
