regulations before and during use of this product.
About the battery
•The DoseMax contains a non-toxic lithium-ion battery with a high energy density, so it
is extremely IMPORTANT that you know how to handle it properly.
•NEVER recharge or use the DoseMax underground (mining) or in classified areas.
•The temperature range in which DoseMax can be recharged is from 0°C to 40°C.
Recharging your device out of this temperature range may reduce battery performan-
ce or shorten its life expectancy.
•Only use the charger that comes with DoseMax to recharge its battery.
About the use
•In regular use, ALWAYS use the microphone windscreen.
•It is recommended for the calibration certification to be renewed annually. For more
information, contact Inlite's Technical Support, through the website.
•In case of malfunction, need for repair, cracked or broken case or other visible
damage, stop using the instrument IMMEDIATELY, and contact the authorized retailer
where you purchased your DoseMax or Inlite Technology directly.
•NEVER use or store inside vehicles in hot weather, or expose it to direct sunlight.
Doing so, can cause the battery to heat up, reducing its life expectancy and/or
creating a risk of explosion.

•Be careful NEVER to expose it to strong impacts and shocks.
•DoseMax is not waterproof. NEVER submerge it in water.
•Periodically clean the DoseMax cabinet with a cotton cloth (NEVER immerse it in
water or clean with abrasive, corrosive or solvent products).

•Connectlite software for DoseMax, is provided free of charge and can be downloaded
from our website: www.inlite.com.br.
Conditions that need to be observed
•The temperature range in which the battery can be stored is from -20 °C to +45 °C,
and the temperature range in which the battery can be discharged is from -20 °C to
+60 °C. Using the battery out of this temperature range may reduce battery perfor-
mance or shorten battery life expectancy.
•If you see a performance drop of more than 20%, the battery is at the end of its life.
Do not continue using it. Contact the authorized retailer where you purchased it or
Inlite Technology for battery disposal and replacement.
NEVER dispose of it in general waste. Contact the authorized reseller you
purchased from, or directly with.

A member of the Inlite family, that makes reference to the design and visual identity of the
entire line of occupational safety instruments, the DoseMax Noise Dosimeter is based on
instruments from major international brands with technology.
DoseMax is a noise dosimeter manufactured in Brazil, developed with the most modern
technology. It is light, compact and with a 1.8-inch color display.
It performs three simultaneous measurements, it has an octave band filter, scheduled
pause feature, automatic calibration, memory of up to 99 measurements for 8 hours and
rechargeable lithium battery with a great 20-hour autonomy.
With an ergonomic approach, DoseMax's rubberized case is programmable to start, pause
and end a dosimetry, offering comfort to the assessed worker and convenience to the
technician's daily life.
Rounded edges, lapel clip, keypad lock to avoid handling by unauthorized people,
standby mode to save battery power during your assessments and much more.

NHO01 and Normative Instruction INSS/PRES No. 77/2015 Art. 258.

DoseMax has six display screens. To change screens, press the key or the key.’
To turn DoseMax on or off, press the key for 3 seconds
until the starting screen is displayed.

Press the key for 3 seconds to access the DoseMax menu. Use the key to select up,
to select down and to confirm press the key .

Scheduled pause setting, generally used for lunch breaks. To select the 'Start' and 'End'
time of the pause press the key to decrease, to increase press the key and to confirm
press the key .
Measuring time that DoseMax will be performing dosimetry.
To decrease the time, press the key , to increase press the key and to confirm press
the key .
Select the “Duration” option and press the key to set the measurement and pause time.

Select the “Interval” option and press the key to set the dosimetry recording interval.
To decrease the interval, press the key , to increase press the key , to confirm press
the key .
By selecting the “Registers” option, DoseMax will show the last dosimetries that were saved
in the equipment. It also allows a post-calibration at any time, even after it has already been
completed. The date and time this procedure was performed will be recorded and it will be
informed at the time the report is issued.
Press the key to list the dosimetries, to select down press the key , to select up press
the key , to confirm press the key , wait until the calibration is finished, then select
the option “Back” and press the key again. -

Select the “Calibrate” option and press the key to perform the calibration according
to the level applied to your calibrator.
To decrease the level press the key , to increase press the key and to confirm
press the key .

Select the “Erase” option and press the key to delete all dosimetry stored in the
equipment. To confirm erasing the registers, select down by pressing the key , to
select up press the key and to confirm press the key .

Select the option “Time weighting” and press the key to set the time weighting betwe-
en the Slow (S) and Fast (F) options.
To select down press the key , to select up press the key and to confirm press the
option .
Select the option “Frequency W.” and press the key to set the frequency weighting
between A, C and Z.
To select down press the key , to select up press the key and to confirm press
the option .

DoseMax performs 3 simultaneous dosimetries according to the NR15, NHO01 factory set
standards and the customized USER standard. In the “Adjust” option, the settings refer to
the “USER” customized standard.

Select the “Criterion Level” option and press the key to set the criterion level in the
range of 80 to 90 dB at 1 dB resolution.
To decrease the criterion level, press the key , to increase press the key and to
confirm press the key .
Select the “Threshold Level” option and press the key to set the threshold level in the
range of 60 to 90 dB at 1 dB resolution.
Level that represents the minimum value to be considered in DOSE and LAVG calcula-
tions.
To decrease the threshold level, press the key , to increase press the key and to
confirm press the key .

Select the “Date/Time” option and press the key to set the date and time.

Select the “Exchange Rate” option and press the key to set the exchange rate betwe-
en 3 to 5.

Select the “About” option and press the key to view the firmware version, serial
number and product standards.
Select the “Language” option and press the key to set the language between Portu-
guese, English or Spanish.
To select down press the key , to select up press the key and to confirm press
the key .
Select the “Display” option and press the key to set the display brightness and
shutdown time.
To decrease the brightness and the shutdown time press the key , to increase press
the key and to confirm press the key .

To “start” a dosimetry, press and hold the key for 3 seconds until the “Pre-Calibrate”
option is displayed. Select the level as applied in your calibrator and wait to finish the
calibration until the red indicator on the display starts flashing for 20 seconds. After this
time, dosimetry will start automatically. If you select the “No” option, the report will take the
date of the last pre-calibration or the date of the calibration performed through the menu
in Item 4.3.1.5.
During dosimetry, it is possible to select the display screens and follow graphs and some
real-time indicators of the NR15, NHO01 and USER standards. To select the screens, press
the key or the key .
