Flush the cold and hot water line
thoroughly before starting the installation.
Use threaded adapters/fittings (not
included) for connecting the water pipes
to the rough valve. Never solder directly
onto the threaded nipples of the rough
valve. When soldering CxC connections,
do not use excessive heat.
It is not necessary to remove the
pressure balance cartridge from the
valve during normal soldering connection.
The left side is the hot water inlet,
the right side is the cold water inlet,
up and down connections are the
mixed water outlets.
1.Prepare wall for rough-in valve
Finished wall must be within dimensions
shown in figure 1. The distance between
the back of the valve and the finished
wall must be between 2.52” and 3.03”.
Failure to comply with this tolerance
will result in improper fitment of trim
set.
3. Level the valve
Use a leveling indicator to align the
valve into proper position. Make sure
the valve is properly aligned in both
the vertical and horizontal direction.
At this step is also recommended to
double check the dimensions given
in step 1.
4. Check connections for leakage
Using a screwdriver close the service
stops located at each side of the
main cartridge. Open the main water
supply and inspect the connections
for leakage.
