Assembly Instructions and User Guide
Thank you for choosing the Integrity Mobility Solutions Static Shower Chair. This user guide should be read
carefully before use as it contains important information about the products safe operation and
maintenance.
WARNING: Max User Weight: 165kg (26st)
This product has been designed specifically for use in a shower. It comes complete with a heavy duty plastic
seat with perforations to allow water to flow through easily. There a arms provided to provide additional
support. This chair is designed as a temporary seating aid and should not be used as a step or transfer device.
This chair is suitable for use in showers, bathrooms & wet rooms. It is not suitable for use in swimming pools.
Assembly Instructions
•Carefully unpack and examine the product to ensure it is complete.
•Before use, check for any signs of damage e.g. cracked weld, flaking of paint, cracked or damaged seat or
bent tube. If you spot any of these issues, please contact your local Medequip office and refrain from using
the product.
•The seat must be securely screwed into the frame using the screws provided prior to being used.
• The frame is labelled “front” and “back” to show the correct orientation. (The higher cross bar positioned at
the front)
Do Not Attempt To Use If Product Is Damaged.

Height Adjustment:
To adjust the height, remove the ‘E’ clip from the extension leg(s) and extend all legs evenly to the desired
height ensuring you do not exceed the last punched hole of the extension leg.
Once you have achieved the desired height; reinstall the ‘E’ clip, ensuring it has passed through the extension
leg and that it fits neatly and snugly around the outside leg.
Cleaning
Prior to cleaning the chair, please remove all pin clips and the four extension legs with the ferrules fitted. Clean
these items separately to the main frame.
To clean the product, please use a mild detergent with warm water, along with a soft cloth, to wipe down the
framework on at least a weekly basis or more frequently if needed. If required, disinfect with chloride
disinfectant, please ensure you rinse and dry.
The Shower chair legs and retaining clips can be removed to aid cleaning. This feature is an added benefit over
traditionally fixed shower chairs as it ensures all surfaces are fully accessible for cleaning.
Please do not use an abrasive cleaner as this may damage the frame and nullify the warranty. It is
recommended that the seat is thoroughly cleaned after every use, using an appropriate cleaning agent and that
the legs are removed from the frame, in order to clean.
Check
The product should be periodically checked for damage or wear and tear, this includes flaking or cracking paint.
Any undue signs of damage should be noted and reported to Integrity Mobility Solutions in the first instance.
Should damage be evident, then the user should refrain from using the product until advice has been sought
from Integrity Mobility Solutions.
Warning
•This product is intended for users whose weight does not exceed 165kg/26 stone.
•It is recommended that a full risk assessment should be carried out before use.
•Under no circumstance should the product be moved whilst in use.
•The product should not be “swung on” in a forward or backward motion which could render the product
unstable and could cause folding inwards of front or back legs.
•It is advised that the frame is checked periodically for signs of wear and tear. If any problems are noted,
please report to your supplier immediately.
