3. Using the Keyfob
To set thesystemwith a Keyfob, simplypress the ‘ON’ button. Settingwill begin as described in the
Full settingsection of the user manual. Unsettingis achieved bypressingthe ‘OFF’ button.
Part settingand Night settingcanalso be achieved bypressingthe lower buttons on theKeyfob.
Keyfob Low Battery Warning
Theremote Keyfobs operate byutilisingon-board batteries, when these batteries aredue for
replacement, a low batterywarningis sent to the control panel everytime the systemis unset with a
Keyfob. Indication of low batteryis also annunciated at the remote Keypads. Dependingon the type of
Keypad installed byyour AlarmCompany, the indication will be indicated as follows.
ST900C LED Keypad
When the 5882H (receiver) detects a low batteryon a Keyfob whilst unsetting, it indicates this on the
ST900C LED Keypad byan audiblebeepand the zone LED correspondingto that Keyfob number (eg
a low batteryon Keyfob 2 will light zone LED 2). Enteringa user code will clear the indications.
User Action: Replacethe Keyfob batteries as soon as possible.
6128RFH LCD Keypad
When the 6128RFH LCD Keypad (receiver) detects a low batteryon a Keyfob whilst unsetting, it
indicates this on the Keypad byan audiblebeep and the low batterysymbol will be displayed on the
Keypad display. Enteringa user codewill clearthe indications.
User Action: Replacethe Keyfob batteries as soon as possible.
Keyfob Battery Replacement
The5804H Keyfobs require two batteries of the type listed below. Replace both batteries at the same
time.
•Maxell CR2025
•Duracell DL2025
•Varta CR2025
Battery Life: Up to 4 years (under normal conditions).
