Remember to change your fi lter cartridge and Algaway p ad to keep
your aquarium health y, clear, clean and algae fre e.O nce a month:
1 Carr y out a 25% water change – remembe r to use Tapsafe to tr eat tap water.
2 Remove and di scard old filter cartridge, rep lace with a new cartridge – ensur e
the cartrid ge is fully inserted the right way r ound (‘FRONT’ on tab facing
forwards) in the corr ect slot in the filter body.
3 Remove the holster fr om the filter and slide out the old Algawa y pad and discard.
Insert the new A lgaway pad into the holster and rein sert into the filter body.
After cleaning y our filter, or when adding new fish, it is advisable to add
Filter Start to bo ost the beneficial bacteri a population of your aquarium.
