DANGER: To avoid possible electric shock, special care should be taken
since water is employed in the use of aquarium equipment. For each of the
following situations, do not attempt repairs by yourself; return the appliance
to an authorized service facility for service or discard the appliance.
1. If the appliance shows sign of abnormal water leakage, immediately
unplug it from the power source. If the appliance falls into the water,
DO NOT reach for it! First unplug it and then retrieve it. If electrical
components of the appliance get wet, immediately unplug it.
2. Carefully examine the appliance after installation. It should not
be plugged in if there is water on parts not intended to be wet.
3. Do not operate any appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it
is malfunctioning or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
4. To avoid the possibility of
the appliance plug or outlet
getting wet, position aquarium
stand and tank to one side of a
wall-mounted outlet to prevent
water from dripping onto the
plug or outlet. A drip-loop,
shown in the figure below,
should be arranged by the
user for each cord connection
of an aquarium appliance
to an outlet. The drip-loop
is that part of the cord below the level of the outlet, or the
connector if an extension cord is used, to prevent water traveling
along the cord and coming into contact with the outlet.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
6. To avoid injury, do not contact moving parts or hot parts
such as heaters, reflectors, lamp bulbs, and the like.
7. Always unplug an appliance from an outlet when not in use, before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. Never yank the cord
to pull the plug from outlet. Grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
8. Do not use an appliance for anything other than its intended
use. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
9. Do not install or store the appliance where it will be
exposed to weather or temperatures below freezing.
10. Make sure an appliance mounted on a tank is
securely installed before operating it.
11. Read and observe all the important notices on the appliance.
12. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a proper rating
should be used. A cord rated for less amperes or watts than
the appliance rating may overheat. Care should be taken to
arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
13. The appliance is intended FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
14. This appliance was designed for use over a glass aquarium
cover or Panel. DO NOT USE OVER “OPEN” WATER.

Interpet Limited warrants this product against defects in
materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from
the date of original purchase. The warranty covers only any
defects caused during normal use and operation of the
LED, in accordance with the enclosed instructions.
If the product exhibits such a defect, Interpet limited will
repair or replace it without cost for parts or labour. The
product must be shipped pre-paid to Interpet Limited. Proof
of purchase is required. This warranty does not apply to
problems or damage caused by unauthorised modifications,
misuse, improper or inadequate maintenance, accidents, or
operations outside the product instructions or specifications.
All implied warranties, including any implied warranty
of merchantability or fitness for any purpose, are limited
to 12 months from date of original purchase.
The warranty service includes repair or replacement of the LED at
the discretion of Interpet Limited. To the extent allowed by applicable
law, in no event shall Interpet Limited or the manufacturer be liable
for any direct, indirect,special, incidental or consequential damages,
including loss of livestock, arising from a defect in this product.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation
may not apply to you if you purchased the product in one of
those states. This warranty provides specific legal rights. You
may have other legal rights that vary from state to state.

Switch the Life Light off and remove from the brackets – wipe off any
dirt or salt mineral deposits with a damp cloth. Do not use cleaning
agents that could enter the aquarium and harm your livestock.
1. Do not attempt to dismantle the product other than the
instruction above as this voids your warranty. The information
below should be followed to keep the product in good condition.
2. Read the manual carefully before operating the
product. Make sure you use the product correctly.
3. Only use the adaptor supplied with the product.
4. Do not pull or twist the power cord, or move the product by
holding the power cord only, as this will damage the power cord.
5. Make sure the power is disconnected before installing or cleaning.

Four options available for fitting the Life Light
a. Hood location with adhesive pads – Attach the double
sided adhesive pads to the flat surface of the LED. Fix
the Life Light to the underside of the hood in the desired
location – ensure the hood surface is flat, clean and dry. DO
NOT attach directly to fluorescent lamps or lamp reflectors.
b. Hood location with screws - Ensure the hood material is
thicker than the length of the screws to prevent them from protruding
through the outer surface. Place the Life Light in the desired
location under the hood. Using the self-tapping screws provided,
fix the LED in position using the fixing holes in the LED.
c. Hood location with glue– Select desired location on the underside
of the aquarium hood and mark the position of the LED. Keep the
hood away from the aquarium while gluing the LED as the glue can
be dangerous to the fish. Clean the marked area with a damp cloth
then allow to dry, glue into the marked position on the aquarium hood.
An all-round plastic / wood glue is recommended for application.
For example, a 502 super adhesive glue. Always follow the glue
manufacturer’s instructions.

socket is not submersed) press suckers onto glass (to optimise
adhesion clean the glass before applying the sucker).
