address =1).
Each IPGUARD & EVE196-X3-RS
needs to be installed in their own bus
chains/network (not wired together).

The EVE196-X3-RS’s connected to the IPGUARD need to be
programmed as the first in the chain (i.e RS485 address =1)
Each IPGUARD and EVE196-X3-
RS needs to be installed in their
own bus chain/network (not
wired together).
The network/chains are
programmed and linked
together in the cloud via
www.baticonnect.com

with TELU programmer
can program default
EVE196-X3-RS door
setting themselves. All
actual system operational
programming is via
www.baticonnect.com
When networking multiple
doors to the IPGUARD,
switch on RT on the
IPGUARD’s board.
Maximum 10 doors per IPGUARD®
panel. Additional doors can be added
by creating additional networks in
conjunction with our IGSM data modems.
At the end of the bus chain / network, YOU MUST add resistance
either by switching on RT2 on the last EVE only or by adding a
120 (OHM) resistor, as shown above.

1. A diode or varistor must be
tted across the lock power
terminals as clearly shown.
2. Use separate power supplies
for (a) the electric locking
(b) the IPGUARD panel.
3. The IPGUARD back box and/or
any metal work connected to
the IPGUARD must be earthed.
Failure to comply invalidates all
warranties.
